Part 41 | Heart Break In Seoul

Hearing the morning prayer, Kanaya woke up and immediately woke Lee up to bathe and pray for congregation. When Lee became the priest of his prayers, Kanaya's heart was happy, like there were flowers blooming there. Though, it was not the first time Lee became the priest of his prayers. Maybe because last night they did husband and wife worship for the first time after two years of their marriage. Therefore Kanaya felt the dawn prayer this time was very different. She was so surrounded by immense gratitude because her prayer, which had always wanted to be a full wife for Lee, was granted by the Almighty.

Finally her husband's heart was open to welcome her sincere love. Lee had forgotten the bitter story of his past love with Aisyah that had been intertwined for a long time. The bitter story that made Lee fail to move on and eventually backfired for Kanaya and also their household during this time.

After confirming the prayers Lee offered, Kanaya shook her husband's hand. Within minutes Kanaya quickly let go of Lee's hand, she kissed her husband's hand while muttering an endless line of gratitude.

The corner of Lee's lips lifted upwards, forming a haru smile, he used his other, idle hand to wipe the tears that were pressing out from the corner of his eye. The love was much greater than Lee thought, then lovingly he rubbed the crowns of Kanaya who was still peeling at the back of his hand.

"Thank you, Mas" said Kanaya as she looked up and looked at Lee who was moved by the sincerity of her love.

Without answering Kanaya's words first, Lee immediately lunged at Kanaya's tiny body with a tight hug. The hug seemed to be the answer to all the questions that used to often stick in Kanaya's head.

"I should have said thank you, baby. All this time you have been faithful waiting for me really ready to be a husband-born and inner figure for you, you always patiently face the unpleasant treatment of me...."

"Yes yes, Mas. Do not need to be driven, you will have a tight chest, and my heart will be sad if it happens," cut Kanaya while patting the sturdy back of Lee who is now sobbing on his shoulder.

"I love you, Naya. I promise I'll never hurt you again" Lee said, tightening his arms again. Kanaya smiled sweetly then returned Lee's embrace with no less tight.

Shaking the phone forced Lee and Kanaya to take off their hugs. Both of them immediately stared compactly at Lee's phone. The name 'grandmother' with a hangul that Kanaya does not understand.

"Who is Mas?" kanaya asked with a curious face.

"Grandmother," replied Lee as she scrunched her forehead. Then the man grabbed his cell phone lying on the table beside the mattress. He answered the call with wonder in his heart.

'Alhamdulillah, finally grandma want to call me again .. but instead of that time he said that he would not consider me his grandson again if I insist on converting to Islam, huh?' inner Lee wondered.

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"What did you say?! Want to be a bad grandson, you! Why haven't you ever called Grandma?!" shouted an old hoarse voice across the phone.

"Mianhe, I guess grandma is still disappointed and hates me. That's why I always tell my mom to ask grandma."

"Basin' bad boy! How could grandma be so angry with you, Lee. Just so you know yes, grandma's affection is bigger than grandma's disappointment."

"Sorry Lee yes, grandma. I'm so sorry, Lee is also very fond of grandma."

"Geure, if you love grandma, you visit grandma in Seoul today. But don't go alone, take your wife too. Grandma wants to know what kind of woman can conquer Grandmother's heart as hard as that stone."

"Must be today, grandma?" asked Lee with a half-objection tone.

"Well, if you don't want to make grandma disappointed again," replied the Grandma who then decided the call unilaterally because she did not want to hear rejection from her granddaughter.

"May...." Not yet had Lee said anything, Kanaya immediately nodded as if she knew what Lee was going to talk about.

"But what's your college, baby?" ask Lee worriedly.

"Seriously not a problem?" lee asked in doubt.

"If it becomes a problem even I am calm, there will be you who will solve the problem. Hihi," Kanaya replied with a mischievous smile.

Lee chuckled with anxiety at his wife's behavior. Then he deliberately touched the tip of Kanaya's tiny nose with his thumb and index finger. Then he ran away from Kanaya.

"Ih! Sick knows! Here no!" kanaya shouted as she chased after Lee who ran towards the kitchen while laughing out loud.

"Don't, I'm a bummer!" kanaya yelled out in annoyance and never managed to catch Lee and avenge her husband.

With a prank Lee stuck out his tongue while continuing to laugh at Kanaya who was still chasing after him while carrying a sofa pillow as a weapon.

The atmosphere of the apartment which is usually quiet is now crowded because of the sound of laughter of the two of them that brings the impression of harmony and warmth.

"Thank God, we have finally arrived in Seoul!" kanaya shouted with sumringah. Her pretty face seemed radiant, especially when she saw Lee walking over and holding her hand.

The couple walked on the edge of the city streets overgrown with many cherry blossom trees that were blooming beautifully. The color red blushed like Kanaya's cheeks that blushed in embarrassment hearing the romantic words of Lee that seemed endless.

"Have you ever seen a Korean drama where men and women kiss under cherry blossoms?" suddenly asked Lee.

Kanaya so excited, "Ih, why did you talk about Korean drama anyway, Mas?"

"Jawab, what's wrong?"

"No, no" Kanaya replied lying. When he was in High School he once saw such a romantic drama with his friend.

"I used to have such a wish with the woman I married" said Lee, who made Kanaya flounder. There's no way Lee would kiss her in a public place like this right?

"Don't be weird, Mas. Can't tell the tumbar of intimacy in a public place," Kanaya recalled as she pointed her index finger in front of Lee's face.

Lee's face turned sullen but moments later the man smiled and whispered in front of Kanaya's ear. "That means that in a private place, can you dong huh?"

"Can, anyway. Th-but...."

The tiny figure accidentally hit the foot of Lee's level and fell to the ground. Spontaneous Lee and Kanaya help him stand up, but the child's cute face is dumbfounded upon seeing Lee's face.

"Daddy," he said made Lee and Kanaya freeze on the spot.
