Kanaya The Unwanted Wife
Part 19 (Pray and Support of a Wife)

Of the many sorrows she had ever felt, seeing the gloomy face of her husband was the saddest thing for Kanaya. His chest felt tight, not because of the asthma relapse but because he could not bear to see Lee drooping weakly in the bed, staring blankly at their open bedroom window.

Without a second thought Kanaya climbed onto the bed and hugged Lee from behind. A few seconds later Lee moved his hand to hold Kanaya's tiny hand before turning back, returning the wife's embrace, hiding her handsome face in the recess of Kanaya's neck, blasting her tears there.

Kanaya's delicate hand stroked Lee's black hair, trying to provide comfort for her husband. So that Lee no longer sad let alone shed tears. Because when she saw the tears of her husband fell, Kanaya felt like there were thousands of needles vying to pierce her heart. He was injured even though he was not bleeding.

"Mas, basically everything we have is a deposit from God, if God takes it back, we must be sincere. God will not take it without replacing it with a better one. We must believe that behind the fire disaster that hit your factory in Sukabumi there is wisdom that we can contemplate." Kanaya tries to advise Lee so that her husband does not constantly dissolve in sadness.

"Don't continue to grieve and ignore what you still have, get up and hold what you still have before he also leaves you." Lee was stunned as the sentence came out of Kanaya's mouth. What does his wife mean? There's no way Kanaya would leave him, right?

Take care of me from all the things I fear, in return I will give the best version of myself, love you, love you, be the home where you come home, I will be everything to you." Hearing Kanaya talk like that Lee immediately tightened his embrace on the tiny body of the wife, as if unwilling to lose.

Yes, she was indeed afraid of Kanaya leaving, she was afraid that Kanaya would give up on undergoing a household heresy with her. Because Lee realized that all this time only the girl was willing to accept all her treatment, good and bad, her arbitrary attitude and much more. It feels like no more woman can be as patient and as strong as Kanaya in facing her gloomy and dark self.

"Don't stay with me, Naya. Please stay by my side no matter what happens, be patient as you have been doing all this time. I promise I'll turn into a better husband, who understands you better, I promise," Lee said earnestly.

Kanaya smiled and then kissed the tip of Lee's nose that pointed until the owner opened his eyes in shock. At that time Lee also felt that his heart was pumping blood faster, lest his cheeks also blushed. Oh no! Lee immediately covered his cheeks with both hands. Kanaya chuckles at her husband's bashful behavior of the cat.

"Mas deg-degan huh?" tease Kanaya while raising her eyebrows.

Spontaneously Lee shook his head but a second later he regretted lying to Kanaya because his wife did not immediately believe and instead proved it herself. Kanaya stuck her ear to Lee's chest, checking her husband's heartbeat, which turned out to be beating fast.

"Hayo, what did I do, Mas David lied?" todong Kanaya while looking at Lee's red-collected face.

Lee turned his back on Kanaya because he felt his heart was no longer safe when he saw the beautiful face of the wife who was teasing him. Don't let him be a khilaf and ekhem! But even if the khilaf is okay, he and Kanaya are married.

"Well, turn around. I can't see that pink hue on your cheek anymore, huh."

"I'm hungry!" Lee deliberately switched the subject and Kanaya knew the reason for her husband. Especially if it's not for shame.

"You sure what my husband is?" kanaya asked softly whispered in Lee's ear, creating a strange swish on the chest of her handsome-looking husband like the comic prince.

"A-I, ma-mau .. pasta but use Ramyun seasoning," Lee replied stuttering. Making Kanaya laugh inwardly, the girl's lips formed a smile and then on a whim she kissed Lee's cheek before running towards the kitchen.

The corner of Lee's lips shot upwards, forming a casual smile. Without the man knowing it, he had fallen for his own wife. Yes, to Kanaya. The girl who always patiently faced all forms of attitudes and treatment for the past two years.

Lee's spirit was flared again, he forgot his sadness after the parent factory of his DSL beauty care company was engulfed in fire. He left his contest and walked to the kitchen, approaching Kanaya who was serving Ramyun seasoning paste on the dinner table.

"Good meal to my husband" Kanaya said, leading Lee to sit in the chair next to her.

"Enak," said Lee honestly when tasting pasta from Kanaya cuisine. Kanaya who received a positive response from Lee immediately felt flowery. He looked at Lee's handsome face even though his mouth was full of pasta.

"But spicy! Huh!" Lee frowned while sticking out a tongue of spiciness. With a swift Kanaya take a glass of cold liquid yogurt.

"Ah, the freshness.., thanks to my wife." Honestly, it was the first time Kanaya heard Lee call her "my wife" because usually the man just called her name.

"Together, Mas. Oh yes Mas, papa called me last night, he said tomorrow night we have to come to the ceremony of the inauguration of papa's hospital in Bandung."

"Oh yeah? How can you not hold us from far away?"

"Why indeed? You can't come?" kanaya asked curiously.

"I should be going to Sukabumi tomorrow, I want to investigate the cause of the factory fire myself, but because papa invited us to his show, yes already .. I cancancel a plan to his Sukabumi."

"I suspect that my factory was a fire not because of an electrical short circuit but someone deliberately set it on fire."

"But you can't su'udzhon the same old man, Mas," recalls Kanaya who was worried that her husband would prejudge the wrong person.

"It's not su'udzhon, I just feel that there's something strange lately" Lee said with a hint of unease on his face.

"Hopefully your suspicions are not true."
