Kanaya The Unwanted Wife
Part 22 (The Fire of Jealousy)

With no wind, no rain, Steffany and Nathan come together to Lee and Kanaya's house. It was Sunday, so neither Kanaya nor Lee went outside, both of them were watching Netflix which was their entertainment when spending time together on weekends. Although a few days ago Kanaya had silenced Lee, in fact, now the girl has re-opened her voice thanks to Lee who continues to persuade her. So that his heart melted again and again although the memory of how hurt still often haunts his mind.

Hearing the sound of bells and knocking doors from outside, Kanaya rushed to open the door for an uninvited guest.

"Assalamu'alaikum," said Steffany and Nathan, who were close together.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, you know .. Why are you here?" sahut Kanaya who was a little surprised by the arrival of his two guests on holidays.

"Oh, so we can't come here?" said Steffany who wanted to turn her body again if only Kanaya did not hold her arm.

"You can play here anytime. I just didn't expect you to come" said Kanaya, who then invited Steffany and Nathan into the house.

"Who's coming Nay?" yelled Lee who was still watching in the living room. Because of the location of the family room right next to the living room, Kanaya could hear her husband's screams clearly.

"Your sister is like her boyfriend, Mas."

Hearing Kanaya's reply, Lee immediately got up from the sofa and stepped foot into the living room. "Who are you?" lee asked without further ado as he looked towards Nathan who was sitting next to Steffany with a probing look.

"He's Nath...." Kanaya's sentence was cut quickly by Lee. "Naya, let him answer himself. I didn't ask you."

Nathan gulped his hard-earned saliva, he felt intimidated by Lee's gaze which seemed unhappy with his arrival. The man felt an aura of such a powerful possessiveness from Lee's gesture.

"I'm Nathan, Steffany's majoring friend," Nathan replied as he was.

"Would you guys come here? Interrupting my time with Kanaya" Lee said cynically.

Steffany flicked her thin lips and approached Lee and embraced her brother's arm. "I'm the same Nathan would like to invite Kak Naya to participate in the charity bazaar organized by the Campus, yes?" persuade Steffany.

Lee let out a long sigh before asking again. "What time is it?"

Steffany smiled enthusiastically, as did Kanaya. "It's only until three in the afternoon, really," Steffany replied.

"Okay, Naya can come along but I'll also come along" Lee concluded, which made Kanaya and Steffany hug each other because she was so happy.

While Nathan felt less happy because if Lee came along he could not pay attention to Kanaya freely. Though his intention to invite Steffany and Kanaya to participate in the bazaar event is so that he can be more familiar with Kanaya. It turns out that there is a shrimp behind the rock, as the saying goes.

"In the meantime, Steffy, Nathan, I'm the same as Lee to change clothes first," said Kanaya who then took Lee's arm to their room on the second floor.

"Naya, just get to the bazaar place later you can not take off my hands yes," Lee ordered with a possessive tone that made Kanaya unable to hide her smile.

"Yes Mas, from earlier you said it continues, you know," replied Kanaya while pairing one by one the buttons of the shirt that Lee wore.

"So you should call me dear, too" asked Lee, who made Kanaya want to laugh in surprise at her husband's unusual request.

"What the hell are you, Mas? Persambet huh?" joked Kanaya on her tiptoes and pressed the back of her hand against Lee's forehead. But Lee instead pulled his hand so that Kanaya lost her balance and hit the chest of Lee's field. Time seemed to stop when Kanaya and Lee's eyes locked each other, diving into each other's feelings through a deep and honest gaze.

"Ekhem." Lee shifted his eyes in the other direction, but his hand still grabbed onto Kanaya's waist, making his wife misbehave.

"I-I, I want to put some lip gloss on first." Kanaya removed Lee's hand from her waist and walked quickly to her dresser, nervously taking the lip gloss and then rubbing it originally on the surface of her ripe lips.

Lee smiled smirk amidst his nervousness. He slowly approached Kanaya and turned his wife to face her. Then his sturdy fingers moved rubbing Kanaya's lips, making the lip gloss that the girl had just worn disappear.

Kanaya fell silent, watching Lee's actions while admiring her husband's good looks up close. He will only wait for what Lee does next. Didn't think Lee kissed the tip of his tiny nose.

"Don't wear lipstick, I don't want men out there looking at you, your beauty is just mine, no one else can enjoy it but me," said Lee who seemed very possessive, the look of jealousy was also clearly visible in his eyes. Makes Kanaya feel loved.

"But Mas, the one I was wearing was not lipstick, but lip gloss, different."

"You want lip gloss and lipstick, I don't care. Anyway you do not use products that can make your lips look fresh like that!" lee's nagging that made Kanaya giggle amused to see her husband who was careless just because of the lip gloss problem.

In the living room Steffany and Nathan waited anxiously, already half an hour Kanaya and Lee had not yet come out of their room, in fact they just changed clothes or did anything anyway. How long is it?

"They're doing it again? It's just a long time to change clothes, I look in their room," said Steffany, who was immediately prevented by Nathan.

"Don't, we wait here, afraid to disturb them, instead" said Nathan who had thought far away.

Shortly after that Kanaya and Lee came out along with neatly colored clothes matching Lee's request.

"Wow, you guys are very compatible, yes" praised Nathan who immediately got the unfavorable plot from Lee.

"Thank you, Nathan," Kanaya said in reply.

Lee glanced at his wife with a sour face. "Don't serve him," he whispered.

Kanaya let out a long sigh then nodded obediently. She hopes Lee's possessiveness is a sign that her husband is secretly starting to love her.

"Oppa, jealousy is okay, but naturally, do not be too possessive, later Kak Kanaya can be uncomfortable you know," Steffany said reprimanding her brother.

"Shut up! Don't interfere" Lee concluded, pouting Steffany but smiling as Nathan clasped his hand.
