Kanaya The Unwanted Wife
Part 16 (Agoraphobia)

"Pick whichever you like, don't have to look at the price."

"OK, but... I'm here, aren't I? Can't go anywhere" asked Kanaya with a pinched face. He was afraid of his Agoraphobia if only alone in the crowd.

Fortunately Lee was able to understand Kanaya's mental state. "Yes Nay, I will be beside you until you finish shopping" Lee replied as he patted Kanaya's head. He made his wife smile until she showed his white and neat teeth.

Kanaya pulled Lee's hand before finally the sturdy hand clasped her tightly. That sweet little action clearly caused warmth in each other's hearts. It's just that they can't express honestly what they feel when they're spending time together.

"Mas David, what do you think? The game doesn't fit me?" Kanaya occasionally asked Lee's opinion but her husband's answer made her lazy to ask again.

"Good, everything fits you." That was the answer that came out of Lee's mouth.

Suddenly Lee's cell phone rings, there's an incoming call from Khanza, his new secretary. Lee then asked Kanaya for permission to pick up the phone for a while because there must be important business that Khanza wants to convey about the company.

"Naya, I'm gonna pick up the phone from the company first, okay? As long as I'm not back yet, you don't get out of here, okay?"

"Don't be long, Mom. I'm afraid to walk alone in a Mall this big and crowded." Actually Kanaya did not want to be left but she could not be selfish by holding her husband to not leave.

"Yes Naya, yes I'm leaving first." After that Lee went to find a place that was a bit quiet to pick up a phone from his secretary who yesterday he was assigned to investigate cases of embezzlement in his company, DSL beauty care.

"Ooh, so ... The real culprit is not Manager Hendi or any other employee of the company?" ask Lee to make sure.

"Really, sir. Manager Hendi was only made a scapegoat by the perpetrator. And up to this point my brother and I are still looking for information about some of the people we suspect and gathering strong evidence to lead him to the police station, sir."

"Good, just keep calling me about how the case goes?"

"Ready, sir!"

"Okay, then I close the phone first."

"Good, sir."

Lee put his phone in the pocket of the shirt he was wearing. When she wants to turn to the clothing store where Kanaya is choosing clothes, Lee accidentally saw Aisyah pushing a large trolley while carrying six-year-old Dasha on the first floor of the Mall precisely in a store that sells household needs.

The soul wants to help the idol immediately out, Lee who had wanted to return to the boutique where Kanaya was. Now even down to the first floor through the escalator and walk quickly to Aisyah who was in trouble.

"Aisha," call Lee.

Feeling that someone called her name, Aisyah turned her head and was surprised to find Lee behind her. "Eh, you're Lee. Alone?" ask Aisyah.

"Yes," Lee was clearly lying. "Aren't you the same as Devano?" tanyakanya.

"Devano again out of town, he again developed his Cafe business in Surabaya," replied Aisyah while stroking Dasha's head who continued to whine asking to go home.

"Ooh, congratulations."

"Thank God, thank you."

"May I help you with Dasha's arms?" tawar Lee's.

"Here baby, papa's carrying. Don't cry anymore, huh? Later papa buyin you candy," said Lee while taking over Dasha to his carrier.

"Papa, I want some ice cream" Dasha's pinta was spoiled for so long because the little girl hadn't seen Lee.

Before confirming the request of his adopted daughter Lee turned his head first towards Aisyah and the woman shook her head. "Don't, he'll have a fever again" he forbade.

"Where about cotton candy?" bargain Lee persuades Dasha to buy food other than ice cream.

"May, as long as you eat it with papa. Papa wants to, right?" sahut Dasha with a hopeful face.

"You dong" said Lee happily.

"Thank you, Lee." Aisyah felt bad for Lee who always helped her in times of distress.

Lee showed a genuine smile. "Sama-sama, Ayesha," he said meaningfully.

Lee doesn't know Kanaya saw what he did. The man had unknowingly made Kanaya's heart hurt again, instead of Kanaya forbidding Lee to help Aisyah. It's just that he also needs Lee by his side, he is afraid that his Agoraphobia suddenly attacks when no Lee can calm him down.

"Why would you rather help a man's wife than protect your own wife?" inner Kanaya sliced, staring at Lee from the glass of the second floor.

Clear water started dripping from Kanaya's embrace when she saw Lee holding Dasha while laughing. His heart was jealous to see that, he also wanted to have children, but from the beginning of marriage Lee never once touched it. Maybe the man felt enough to just give it material. But really what a wife like Kanaya needs is not just that, but an inner living as well.

"Here I need you, my. While down there you laugh with other people's wives and children. Is this proof that I'm not important to you?"

Kanaya returns to the clothing store, unable to see Lee with other women.

"Mas, please come back here, I'm afraid...." Kanaya called Lee inwardly as she began to feel anxious seeing people coming to the clothing store where she was standing now. Understandably, his name is also in the Mall, surely many people who want to buy clothes.

"Please, pick up my phone, Mom." Kanaya sat down while continuing to contact Lee, moments later she returned to the glass that could see to the first floor area of the Mall. But nil, now his eyes could not find the existence of the husband who had helped Aisyah.

"Don't you leave me like that? If you do, that means you're bad, Mom!" Kanaya tried to neutralize her anxiety. But failing that, the girl looked around and squatted on the floor and cried in fear while covering her face with both hands.

Kanaya felt nausea in her stomach that was when Lee came to her then crouched down and hugged her tightly, as if giving her unlimited protection, even though it was too late.

"It's okay baby, you're fine, they won't hurt you. You don't have to be afraid to be in their midst, remember! They are also human beings, not robots that do not have a heart and mind.

"There is nothing for you to fear other than Allah SWT, while I am still here, I will protect you and make sure you are always safe," lee said as he gently rubbed Kanaya's back with his firm hands. At once the sad expression on Kanaya's face disappeared, replaced with a flowery smile. Though the pain still enveloped his heart.
