Kanaya The Unwanted Wife

Kanaya The Unwanted Wife
Part 52 | Lost You To Love You

"Alhamdulillah full," said Kanaya grateful after spending food specially cooked by her husband.

"Thank God you like my cooking." Lee chimed in while rubbing Kanaya's hair.

"I just realized you had a haircut" Lee said as he watched Kanaya from a very close distance.

"When I've been cutting my hair for a long time, why? You don't like it?" kanaya's countenance turned worried.

Lee smiled gently as he stroked Kanaya's fine hair that was only shown to her. "No, I love your new look, just love the same hair, pity cut and discarded, but beautiful."

"That means I'm ugly now?"

Lee chuckled and Kanaya immediately pouted at the naughtiness of her husband who seemed to agree to her question just now. Before Kanaya gets any more misunderstood, Lee brings her face closer until her nose meets the tip of Kanaya's tiny nose. "Hey, where have you ever looked ugly? Want your hair long, want your hair short, disheveled, or tightly closed even if you are always beautiful in my eyes, Naya."

Naturally Kanaya cheeks met red hearing the praise from her husband's mouth. He was really not used to it because Lee rarely praised him.

Lee kissed the tip of Kanaya's nose and his forehead only after that he rested his head on Kanaya's tiny shoulder that was leaning comfortably on the sofa.

"Actually I don't want a haircut but this hair makes me difficult," complained Kanaya who was sad to remember the early days of pregnancy where she was very easy to vomit. That's why Kanaya decided to cut her hair so that if she vomits her hair does not get dirty.

"What difficulty? Try telling me a story?"

"No ah Mas, later the story is now I want to sleep, sleepy."

"What time do you fly?" kanaya asked before closing her eyes.

"Four one baby, you want to take me to the airport, right?"

"No way ah Mas, later I even pull your hand to fail to go."

Lee chuckled while closing his eyes. "Good dong, if you stop me I won't go."

"Aww!" lee shouted suddenly as he got a jewel from Kanaya.

"I want you to solve your problems there, if it's really done you and I will also be calmer, Mas."

"Yes, I thought so too. Lucky I have a wife understanding like you gini."

"But don't get it, you're benefiting from my understanding and lying to me. Watch out for you!"

Lee shook his head strongly then looked into Kanaya's eyes. "I promise it will never be like that. As much as possible I will not disappoint you again" he said earnestly.

"Sholat hajat yuk?" Kanaya changed the topic of their conversation to be more useful.

Lee nodded in agreement and took his wife's hand towards their room. Alternately Lee and Kanaya took ablution water in the restroom next to their room. While Lee berwudhu Kanaya put the prayer mat for her husband right in front of his alphabet. Then she put on her face while standing in front of the dresser mirror.

"Are you ready for my wife?" Lee returned from the washroom with wet hair, his face not only looking handsome but also earthy and soothing to the eyes of Kanaya who was looking at him.

"Of course my husband" Kanaya replied with a sweet smile.

Lee smiled back while wearing the black skullcap that his wife had prepared. Then before he began to pray the two rakaat sunnah prayers, he looked back and looked at Kanaya once again with a shady look. After that, he read the intention and muttered takbir followed by Kanaya who became his true master.

Kanaya shed tears at the end of her sincere prayer sentence. He let Lee wipe his tears as the man turned towards him. Lee with a moved heart rubbed Kanaya's tears using the end of the sacrifice she was wearing. Although he did not know what prayer Kanaya had said, but he felt the sincerity of the woman who seemed to flow into the recesses of his heart, making his soul cool and serene.

"We continue to read the Qur'an as usual, right?"

"Of course my wife." Lee took the Qur'an in a special cupboard and placed the scripture on the table in the middle of him and Kanaya.

"Al-Kahfi, we must always read it, if necessary every time the prayer fardhu."

"Yes my wife, in this age that is approaching the end we must practice al-Kahfi and always stick to the teachings of Islam."

"I heard Steffy and Nathan were getting married, when exactly? You're his brother, you know."

Lee wiped his lips after drinking the glass of milk Kanaya gave him. "Why don't you ask Steffy?" the person asked asked back.

"Udah, and he said the date was still a secret, a real fad about the boy," Kanaya replied with a sour face. Lee smiled and rubbed Kanaya's shoulder, "I guess she said so intentionally so that you were curious and asked to see her," Lee replied comfortingly.

"Not that I don't want to see him, I just don't dare to come to my mom's house."

"Naya, you can ask him to meet you outside the house, in a restaurant or cafe for example."

"If you knew Mas, if lately Mama you always stop Steffy to meet me, let alone help me," inward Kanaya was sad to realize how disliked he was as a daughter-in-law in the eyes of her mother-in-law. However, there was never any resentment in Kanaya's heart because she knew Mama Lee just couldn't open her heart for her.

"May? Why are you silent? Do I need to call Steffy to come see you?"

"No need Mas, let me later, you get ready, after this you have to quickly go to the airport."

"I'm sorry, I'm leaving you again" Lee said with a sad look. It is obvious that the man actually did not leave the wife alone.

"Mas, for me you've never been anywhere, you've always been here...." Kanaya placed Lee's hand over the place where it could feel her heartbeat.

"Whatever foot you step by."

"Remember one thing Mas .. My prayer always follows wherever you go."

"So please round out your resolve, prove to me the truth, don't hide anything from me, sometimes honesty is painful, but I can learn to understand it."

"Even if I don't think I can take it."

At the end of the opportunity Lee hugged Kanaya's body tightly. Delivering how much love he had for his wife, the hug made Kanaya feel so loved that she believed Lee would return to her with glad tidings.

"Hopefully."
