Chapter 79 - Jeff's Apology

Jeff was sitting in a long chair in the hospital garden, the man looked down to hide his face filled with sadness. Her face was tangled like a tangled thread. 

"Bag.." Lirih Kirana while holding the back of her husband. Slowly, Jeff's head looked up and then looked away when he saw his wife coming.

Kirana sat down next to her husband, then looked straight ahead with a sad face that anyone would know if the couple was not okay.

"Do you know that Queen loves you so much? Because she loves you, she's willing to endure her pain alone just because she doesn't want to worry you." 

"Yes, I know. I was wrong for taking part in hiding Queen's illness, but I have reason enough."

"What's? What kind of excuse, Kiran?" Jeff asked, he looked at Kirana sharply.

Kirana explained everything about her conversation in the park that day with Queen. Without missing a bit, so that Jeff understands and does not misinterpret all of them.

Jeff sighed, then leaned his head on Kirana's shoulders. The woman greeted him with small strokes on the man's head. 

"I'm sorry, Kiran."

"Im sorry for what? Is it because I married you?" Kirana asked, making the man re-establish his head.

"No, not that, baby. I never regretted our marriage or everything that happened between the two of us, I'm just sorry why I just found out about Queen's disease now." 

"He just doesn't want to worry you, Mom. She's a really good woman, if I were in her position, I wouldn't think about other people's happiness, like I would be a selfish woman. But, sister Queen isn't, Mas." Sleek Kirana, she smiled slightly at Jeff.

"She was willing to sacrifice her own feelings, seeing her husband marry another woman, was it not painful? Sure, it hurts a lot. But, look at Sister Queen she can still smile sincerely at me without the slightest bit of hate. He even treated me very well, like a brother to his sister."

"You're a very lucky man, Mas. Being able to have a woman as good as Sister Queen, her heart is so broad that it is willing to accept other women in her household life." 

"Yes, I'm lucky. It's just that I'm too stupid for wasting a woman as good as Queen." Ogre Jeff.

"Despite his past mistakes, isn't Queen's sister also a sometimes wrong human being, Mas? Even Mas can do the same thing because it follows nafssu right? Forgive him, Mas. Forget your grudges against him, it's still not too late." Jeff looked at Kirana's face with sadness, Kirana herself smiled slightly, framed her husband's face and wiped the remains of tears at the end of the husband's eyes.

"Come and hug your wife, Mas. Apologize to him, forgive him all his mistakes." 

"Yes, honey. I'll do it." Jeff replied, he immediately got up from his seat and ran from the park to the hospital, making Kirana smile knot. 

"Redeem all your mistakes, Mas. I'm sure, you're still in love with each other, but you're stymied by each other's egos." Kirana muttered with a smile, she will be here for some time. Of course, preparing his heart for all the possibilities that could have happened, whatever it was he had to be ready. 

May his fear not come true, unimaginable will be as destroyed as he, Jeffran and his parents later. But hopefully that doesn't happen. 

Every human being must have bad thoughts, especially supported by a severe disease. Ready it? Of course not, no one is ready to experience his or her pain of loss, let alone the closest person. 

"Mama, my life is so complicated right now. What are you doing there, how are you?" Kirana muttered, she wiped the water lodged at the end of her eyes.

In the room, Jeff was hugging his wife who had just kissed. The man cried as he pleased, and continued to apologize to Queen, the wife he had wasted. But, Queen also thinks the same about Jeff, because from the beginning he was the one who splashed the fire to make her lose the trust and love of her husband. 

"Mas, what's wrong with you?"

"I'm sorry, honey. I'm sorry for wasting you, even betraying your trust."

"No, I'm the one who apologized for hurting your feelings, and betrayed you first. But, all I get now is in return for what I did first, Mom." Ogre Queen, the woman smiled sweetly while rubbing her husband's firm jaw. 

"Darling.."

"Don't blame yourself, because I was wrong here for my past actions."

"We forgive each other?"

"Sure, dear." Jeff replied, Queen smiled sweetly and then spread her arms, Jeff hugged his wife tightly. Thankfully, she has not lost any memory of her husband.

"Where is Kirana, Mas?"

"He's still in the park right now, I just yelled at him out of emotion."

"What have you done, Mom? Apologize to him, lest he feel no longer appreciated. Later on, he leaves you sorry for losing a woman as good as Kiran." Lirih Queen's.

"Yes, I'll apologize later. Now I want to be with you first."

"Don't raise too much to your own selfishness, Mas. It will hurt you." Queen's Advice.

"Hmm, yes, dear." 

The two continued small talk, joking. Things they have not done for a long time because of the sense of prestige they each have. 

Doctor Andre smiled, at least he was very happy to see the woman laughing loosely with the man he loved. Although, his heart was quite painful at the moment but so be it. Hopefully he can forget for a moment his feelings because his heart is currently filled by a girl named Hanna. 

Shortly after, Kirana entered with a more friendly face than before. 

"Sister.."

"Kiran, sit here." Invite Queen, Kirana also complied and sat next to Jeff who had just looked down. 

"Bag.."

"Why, baby?" Jeffran asked as he looked up at his wife's face. Queen glanced at Kirana with her eye code, Jeff who understood immediately turned his face to look at the wife.

"Yes, Mas. What's up?"

"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier." 

"Ohh that's it? Never mind, I've forgotten it." Kirana answered with a smile. 

"Thank you, baby."

"Together, my mother." Answer the woman slowly. 

"Have you eaten?"

"No, you don't like to eat porridge." Queen replied, shaking her head.

"Don't do it, brother. You have to eat, a little gapapa." Persuade Kirana.

"But brother doesn't like." Lirih Queen's.

"One bribe, huh? Because you can't eat regular rice." Persuade him again.

"All right, just one mouthful."

Kirana smiled pleasantly, then took the bowl filled with porridge and fed her sister slowly. 

"Already, Kiran.." 

"One more bribe huh?" 

"Hmm, fine one more." Queen answered with force. Kirana smiled, she immediately fed the porridge to her sister's mouth, but she wanted to.

"Had it.."

"Yes, I'll drink first." Kirana gives Queen a drink through a straw. While Jeff only saw the attention of his wife to the other wife. 

"Excuse me.."

"Ohh, doctor Andre. Please come in, doc." 

"Sorry to interrupt her time, I just want to check on Queen's circumstances." 

"Please doctor." Kirana replied, she also slightly moved away from the gurney where the Queen was lying.

"Have you eaten, Queen?"

"It's doc, but it's just a little." Not the Queen, but Kirana answered. 

"Nothing, force it even a little. Because the stomach has to stay filled." Clearly, smiling, showing dimples on his right cheek, makes Doctor Andre's smile look sweeter. However, Kirana immediately subdued her gaze. 

"His condition has improved a little, I will be here again. Then excuse me first." Pamit doctor Andre, after all agreed, he came out of the room leaving a sense of wonder in his heart, why Kirana subdued her gaze, what is it? There's no way that woman's embarrassed, right?

"Why did you duck earlier, Kiran?" Ask Queen.

"As a married woman, I have to keep my eyes on you, brother." Kirana answered, making Queen smile.

"You're a good wife, Kiran." 

"So too." 

The door opened slowly, and Carina and Radit entered with their face puffy, as if they still could not accept what they just knew today from the doctor, another disease their daughter.

"Have you eaten, son?" Carina asked her daughter slowly.

"Already, Ma. It was the same bribe Kiran." Carina looked at Kirana who was standing behind her, the woman gave a small smile as she nodded her head.

"Just a little, Ma. Two mouthfuls, but the doctor said it's okay, the important thing is that someone comes in." 

"Have you eaten yourself, Kiran?" Ask her. 

"Not yet." Kirana replied, she had not eaten since this afternoon because she was too worried about the Queen. 

"Eat first, don't hurt yourself. Mama brought chicken dishes with sambel, at the meal." 

"Yes Ma, thank you."

"Hmm, equally. Eat a lot of it." Kirana nodded, then opened the paperbag that Carina had brought. 

"Mas, let's eat first." Take Kirana, then Jeff approached. He still felt very guilty to Kirana for yelling at him earlier, even though Kirana had forgiven him, but still it felt like he was still guilty.

Kirana also ate with her hands directly, while feeding Jeff who had just been dumbfounded even though he was eating, Kirana finally stuck her husband's mouth out of his hands.
