Priorities

Romi was sitting quietly under the shade of a lush tree. Four brown wooden tables have been beautifully arranged under the tree. Romi occupies one of his tables accompanied by mango juice with a tall glass on his desk.

Romi looked seriously at his phone screen reading some news online. Or at least he tried to look serious reading it while from the corner of his eye he was secretly watching one of the tables that were right next to him.

At the table where her eyes were quietly watching, sat a young girl was reading some kind of magazine in her hands. Her hair was curly and slightly blooming was perfected with the shape of her face that tended to be firm. Romi estimates that he is not yet 25 years old.

Romi put his phone on the table and ventured to look at it directly. The girl seemed oblivious to someone blatantly watching her from the next table. He seemed to be too focused on the magazine in his hand.

Romi kept staring at the graceful figure with a line of smiles on his face. Romi prepared that if the girl looked back at him by accident, he would greet her from afar. If the girl still does not look back or does not grub Romi, then Romi will not force.

Regarding women, Romi has the same view as Jordan Belfort, a famous salesman and broker (until made into the film The Wolf of Wall street). Never sell to someone who doesn't need it. Romi is also principled the same, he will not approach someone if indeed that person does not need it. Imposing our desires on others in any form will not end well. Not to mention the wasted energy to persuade people who indeed from the beginning do not need our existence.

But if someone Romi approaches shows a sign that his presence is accepted and needed. Romi abstains from retreating.

Romi was still waiting for the girl to react but her eyes remained fixed on her magazine sheet.

hmm. Maybe it's not her soul mate.

He took his phone back but immediately from the corner of his eye Romi realized now the girl was glancing at him. Their eyes immediately stared at each other.

"Hi," said Romi greeting the natural and as friendly as possible.

Many people know that making greetings to women we like as warm and normal as possible is very difficult. Too excited, then you will look groggy and nervous. Too stiff, you'll look haughty not pharaoh. Too seductive, you look like a venereal villain.

The girl smiled kindly to reply to Romi's greeting while saying 'hi' but without a sound.

Romi was relieved the reaction was not negative. Though he could just ignore Romi and continue reading.

A time like this is a very important moment to get acquainted. This is the moment where we can ascertain whether he can be achieved or not. Of course just returning a greeting does not mean they want us. And they must still be wondering what our intention is to say hello. Is prank? Serious acquaintance? Just friendly? Or are they venereal criminals??

Only one way to make sure.. Romi took a deep breath and then stood about to approach the girl.

Just now he was standing suddenly his phone was ringing loudly. Romi was a little surprised and immediately picked up the incoming phone.

"Oh??" romi said he was surprised to hear the voice across because he could not see the caller's name because he was focusing on the girl at the table.

"Okay, soon, wait, yeah" Romi said in an excited voice across..

Romi immediately picked up the jacket on the chair, put it on and headed straight for the parking lot. Not to forget he again smiled kindly at the girl he had wanted to meet. The girl again smiled kindly again but this time with a look of wonder at seeing Romi who was in a hurry.

Romi drives his bike with a cheerful heart. He thought today would be a nice day because he could get acquainted with the girl in the juice. But it turned out that today was an amazing day for him. At least until now..

About fifteen minutes later, Romi was in a simple tire repair shop at the T-junction in Colombo. There Romi found Karina who smiled broadly at Romi's arrival.

"So how? you okay?" ask Romi while taking off his helmet.

Romi..

"Yaudah yuk," asked Romi to put on his helmet and get back on his bike.

Karina quickly climbed into the bonnet of Romi's motorbike.

Now the Romi motorbike has returned to the road not quickly through the crowds of the streets. As usual Romi always runs the motor smoothly, not jerking the brakes or gas. Especially if there is karina behind him, Romi so try to be more subtle in controlling the motor.

It was not until ten minutes that the two of them had reached a small supermarket.

"Mas Romi if you want to go home is okay, I've had a lot of trouble asking to be picked up," said Karina kindly a little embarrassed.

"Eh really it's okay all the streets too, ntar if left how you want to go back to the workshop again, use the motorcycle taxi is troublesome," said Romi while putting a helmet on his motorcycle.

The two of them then entered the store. Romi's heart began to flower and was grateful for this rare opportunity. Because even though Romi has known Karina for a long time, he has never asked her out and rarely accompanies her out. For some reason if in front of this one girl, Romi's tongue feels cheesy, the courage to send a chat was shrivelled. Romi's attitude is like his version of himself many years ago which is still geeky in front of women.

"So what do you want to buy??" romi asked while taking a small trolley.

"No need," prevented Karina from taking the trolley from Romi and putting it back in place.

"Hm? not much shopping?" ask Romi again.

"Haha really, just eucalyptus same shampoo," replied Karina cheerful.

"Oh...."

The two of them walked together through the hallway of the display rack in the supermarket. Some of the narrower passages forced Romi to retreat behind Karina in order to walk. Even from behind Karina Romi felt that Karina was very beautiful, even though her face was not visible.

"I was asking Rizky for anther but he said he was busy." Karina said suddenly while taking a shampoo.

Perhaps his intention was to say that so that Romi would not feel bothered by himself. But in Romi's ears the sentence felt like lightning in broad daylight.

"Surely he's busy," Romi snorted.

"Yes." answered Karina briefly.

"It's good there is me" said Romi bragged, although he looked joking but he really felt victorious from Rizky.

"Yes, fortunately there is a Romi mas," Karina said again as she glanced and smiled sweetly.

Romi felt his heart melt..... It is not wrong that he has prioritized Karina over the girl in the juice place before.
