Loving Saleha's Bodyguard

Loving Saleha's Bodyguard
Requesting Consent

"You fell in love with the lady alone?" Robin asked because she still could not believe what she had just heard.

There was not a word that came out of Sawn's lips other than a small nod representing all the flavors.

"Bah... I can't believe this!" Robin got up from her sitting position while fanning her face with her right hand.

"Are you rejected?" Robin asked out of curiosity.

"How did you know?" Sawn replied to the question with a question. Now he is filled with curiosity. How could Robin know he was rejected before he told his story.

"I can guess it from your face!" Robin turns around Sawn's face with his index finger. A second later, Sawn shook Robin's hand from the front of her face.

"Omong empty." Sawn said annoyedly.

"You know I'm not talking nonsense. After all, for a woman in the class of 'Self Miss' you won't easily seduce her with a wad of money because she won't look at you, instead she'll hate you even more." Said Robin as he threw his body on the sofa next to Sawn.

"You're right, Raina won't glance at me just because I'm a handsome guy with a myriad of luxuries. I've heard from her younger brother that Raina dreams of a life companion who can hold her hand tightly to Heaven. And I'm not sure about that, my Surah Alfatihah memorization is still a mess." Sawn said disappointed in himself.

"I'm still curious, why do you always call Raina 'Self Lady' Honestly I always get upset when you call her that." Said Sawn again bluntly with what she felt.

"It was just my darling call for her. The first time I met her, she was just a graceful girl in the middle of four men, I don't know her name because That's me calling her 'Self Miss' do you need another explanation?" Robin asked as he clenched his hand.

"If 'Lonely Miss' is your dear call to her, never repeat that silly remark. I don't like other people calling my Raina with affectionate calls anymore." This time Sawn warned his best friend while clenching his hand.

Robin can only smile sincerely, he knows this time his best friend is serious with how he feels. But, the problem is will his parents approve of a relationship that does not yet have a name?

To be honest, Robin still creeps at the harsh rejection that Hanum did on the relationship of Sawn and Angel. If it happened to a gentle woman in Raina's class, Robin believes the woman she already considers her best friend will not be able to breathe quietly on top of this world filled with surprises.

Hhmmm! Robin breathed a heavy sigh. It felt like there was a big rock stuck in the bottom of his heart, very painful if he saw tears again.

It is different from Angel's case. That woman really doesn't deserve to be with her friend. If it was Raina? He was sure the pious woman would fall into the bottom of the abyss, at least that's how Robin felt after hearing Sawn's sincere feelings for Raina.

"You know? Other than you, no one else is close to me. You are a friend and brother to me. If you're happy, then I'm the first one to cheer. I support you with a girl as good as 'Self Miss' but I'm not sure of aunt Hanum's and Andi's decision. Still etched clearly in my memory how aunt Hanum drove Angel away with her piercing words." Robin tries to remind Sawn of the past he is trying to forget.

"You're right. It will not be easy to ask for your consent. If you don't agree then I'm the saddest person in the world." Said Sawn while cupping her face with both hands.

"The first thing you have to do is convince aunt Hanum. The rest, we'll both carefully devise a plan so that 'Miss Alone' doesn't reject you."

Hearing Robin call Raina 'Miss Sendian' again makes Sawn look upset. He looked at his friend's face with a sharp look.

At least Robin can read the mind of his best friend. 'She's my woman, don't you dare show your interest. If not I will definitely beat you up' that's Love, there is always room for jealousy in a relationship, if there is no feeling of jealousy then the relationship is like food without salt. The bad is when someone is jealous to make him blind and then do bad. Love will not let a loved one get hurt, only a bad person commit a crime in the name of love.

"Do you want to go home? You can come with me." Sawn tries to hide his nervousness, honestly he is really afraid that his mother will reject the girl of his dreams.

"You don't have to be nervous. Aunt Hanum isn't that cruel." Robin's words were soothing.

Sawn glanced at the circular watch on his left wrist, the day getting late. And it's time he came home to explain all the flavors. Is that rejection? Or just consent! Everything is arranged by God.

Ting tong's... Ting tong's...

Many times Sawn pressed the bell of his mansion but the middle-aged maid who worked decades in his mother's house did not open the door.

In the past, if Sawn hadn't opened the door so quickly, Sawn would have gotten upset and kicked the door with all his might. Now no longer, since meeting Raina as if the fresh wind again caressed her angry life.

"Sorry young master, Mbok was praying." Said the old woman, sorry. He is no longer young, but he does not want to burden anyone in his life. The older woman knew very well the hand above was much better than the hand below.

Precisely that old woman always complains about people who are given by God all the strength to look for halal Rizki instead they choose to be be beggars without wanting to work hard.

"It's okay mbok! Where's mama?" Sawn asked as he walked behind the old woman.

"Mister and master are still in his room. They'll be down for dinner soon." Reply to that old woman again.

"O yes mbok Dami, where is Yuna? Why is that brat not seen yet. Usually he's the first to welcome me." Say Sawn again to the older woman he calls Mbok Dami.

"Young lady hasn't come home yet. He said he had to be in the garbage and would be home late." Said Dami while looking at the surprised face of Sawn knowing his sister had not yet returned home.

"Do you want young master koffe?"

"No. I want some water." Said Sawn as he walked towards the living room, while Mbok Dami walked towards the kitchen.

Sawn's chest was beating faster, he was really afraid to imagine the disappointed face of his mom and dad. Sawn never imagined, asking for approval from his parents would be scarier than his company losing in the Big Tender, even though he had to ventured to hear the answer. Whether it's a pleasant or sad answer it all requires a deep sense of gratitude. Because only a real man can sacrifice for the woman he loves.
