Chapter 14: The First Stage

The time goes very fast when training, Ava Team trains until dawn every day. This was the initiative of the group members who felt their dancing was less memorable and asked Ava to keep an eye on them while practicing.

Ava felt very tired but did not show it directly. But even so, Ava appreciates her group of friends who really want to train hard. During the training, Ava could see that they were developing very rapidly and quickly. Ava arrived earlier than her team-mates who were still serving the fans outside. So she was immediately pulled by a makeup artist who had finished staring at her makeup equipment. Since she was the center this time, she would get a somewhat more prominent makeup and a rather special hairdo.

“It looks like the number is 500 people.” Clarence thought the audience would watch later.

“We have to perform well.” Ellie said nervously.

Ava tidied for a while before intending to go put down her change of clothes, but when she raised her head, her teammate again looked at Ava with a foolish look.

“Ava, I feel my heart pounding.” Leah said as she held her chest.

Ava immediately clucked in annoyance and left just like keeping her clothes.

Although Ava tidka responded, Ava's teammates still continued to feel awe in their hearts. Whenever they wanted to praise Ava, she always displayed a flat and sleepy face before turning away just like that. As a result, the others finally gave up and focused on their preparations.

When the preparations had been completed, a staff member asked Ava's team to conduct a clean rehearsal. They put on some kind of marker and then went on stage.

Clarence said a few words earlier to his team to encourage. But suddenly there was a greeting sound from the loudspeaker.

“The first team of the song Boss.” greet Paris with a soft voice. “Come spirit!”

They inevitably turned around and looked at the coaches sitting below the stage in the darkness. Ava herself also saw Keegan sitting with her legs folded and staring at the stage seriously.

Of course they shouted excitedly before taking their respective positions.

When again the intro sounded, they began to enter the fast as they had been trained before and began to move in a compact manner. The rappers started the song in a cool style they made the watching ones feel very impressed. The cool style of the rappers brings songs with different charms each person.

When it was Ava's part that had to sing in the first part, she came out of line with a seductive expression at anyone she looked at. His voice was very stable even though he sang while dancing and made those who heard him goosebumps. At the end of her part, Ava raised her eyebrows small before returning to the formation and dancing with the others.

Scarlett who became the center did her job very well and managed to attract attention with her movements and style.

At the end again, the coaches clapped with up to standing with happy faces on their faces.

“This is the perfect appearance.” Keegan said with a smile on her face.

“Truely, the center does its job very well, you stand out and bring the feel of the song very well.” praise Vincet with a proud nod.

“You guys are also very compact, so your dance looks clean. Preserve.” Orion was also happy to see their moves were so clean.

Tim Ava smiled with pleasure and thanked him excitedly before stepping off the stage with a happy laugh. “We should see the second team.” Clarence stopped his team who wanted to fly because of happiness after being praised by the previous coaches.

After Clarence was reminded, they stood in the corner and stared at the second team who went up to the stage and began to perform clean gladi. A bit different from when they did a review with the coaches, this time they look more ready and tidy, but it still seems a bit less.

The coaches are happy because the second team is developing from before. But the effect was different after seeing the first team put on a stunning performance.

“I feel like they're lacking, but why can't I find it.” Leah who was watching the performance of the second team inevitably said in surprise.

“I guess they didn't really present the song correctly.” Clarence replied after thinking for a while.

“Let's rest before the show.” Clarence took his friends back to the dressing room to wait there.

Once in the dressing room, Ava sat down and leaned back lazily on the chair. His eyes slowly narrowed and then slept quickly. Ava's teammates looked at her in awe, able to sleep at times like this.

“I still can't believe Ava can sleep at a time like this.” said Ellie smabil glanced at Ava who was sleeping at the end of the room.

Clarence looked at Ava and thought about their moments of practice. “He guided us a lot during training, I think he was tired.” Clarence said.

“I and Ava finished training at two yesterday.” Hailey said telling her friends about their late-night workouts.

“Created ?” Scarlett's shocked. “I asked Ava for advice yesterday, I think we just slept at three.”

They were silent to hear that, just right now Ava was very sleepy and tired. Ava turned out to help her teammates alternately to sleep too late.

“Let's let him rest longer.” Clarence decides to let Ava sleep for longer.

Ava actually slept until before the show started. Clarence builds Ava who still wants to sleep longer.

“We have to move to the waiting room now.” Clarence said as he waited for Ava to be fully aware.

Ava nodded silently as she muttered a little. “I have to sleep after this.”

Clarence who first saw this side of Ava chuckled. “Sorry because we often ask for your advice and instead make you sleep less.”

“this is the pain of training.” Ava said in a sad but funny tone.

Clarence could not help but laugh seeing Ava grumbling like that. “Sleep as much as you want after our show.”

Ava nodded then got up to look for water before following Clarence to the waiting room. All trainees were fully dressed and waiting enthusiastically in the waiting room.

Hailey who saw Ava came to greet her with a smile. “Is your sleep good?”

“He wants to sleep longer.” Clarence replied with an amused laugh.

Ava still showed a sad face from waking up but she had to be professional so she could only sit with an empty face. “How many recruits will we perform ?” ask Ava suddenly.

“We will perform in the middle.” replied Leah

Ava nodded and folded her hands in front of her chest and sat down to watch Keegan open the show. Although she was sleepy, she still responded to whatever Keegan said like clapping when needed, and smiling when there was a good performance.

The other teams are pretty good, there are some teams that seem a bit unbalanced, but they managed to put in a good performance.

Even her best friend, Sophie also displayed a stunning appearance. The song that Sophie's group chose was perfect for the cheerful Sophie.

Returning to the waiting room, Sophie showed a happy smile, Ava guessing she won the group selection. Sophie gestured to Ava before she sat back down with her team.

Ava who began to feel drowsiness again, finally called to prepare backstage. Ava stretched her body to avoid her body being able to dislocate.

Ava's team waited quietly together with the second team, even though they were enemies, but they also encouraged the second team so as not to be discouraged.

“Let's welcome both teams from the song Boss.” Keegan allows both teams to get on the stage.

Ava stood at the very edge and waited for Keegan to introduce the team. He looked at the crowd bravely and saw some people raising his signboard. Ava narrowed her eyes to see clearly and found a girl holding her sign.

Ava makes eye contact with the girl and makes the girl she ttap become blushed. Seeing her willing, Ava smiled amusedly while looking down small.

“We're from Your Boss!” Ava's team introduced themselves to her chest as if they were the boss. This was welcomed by the fans because they saw the faces of the people they supported. Although Ava was a bit stiff in this sort of thing, but she did her best and kept smiling.

After the second team introduced themselves, Keegan gave them a chance to say a few words of support.

“Your Boss is here, so support your boss.” Scarlett said rather haughtily teasing the fans.

Of course this is very liked by fans and they immediately shouted excitedly. Likewise, when the second team began to promote their team.

Keegan gives the opportunity to say a sentence of support before allowing Ava's team to prepare.

The rappers in the team shook up the beginning of the song with their strong rap. Hailey primarily raps along with Scarlett at the beginning of the song. He showed his charm and strong distinctive voice as a rapper.

After the high intensity of the rapper, Ava came out of line and sang her part with a grinning smile plus eye movements that seduced the audience. His smooth and stable voice made the one who heard him feel very clear and hypnotized.

Once the part is over, Ava goes back to dancing with her team members and letting the song flow through her body. That way, his body will move with the right motion for the song.

Not to forget, Ava also supports her team with a small add-lib to liven up the song. Other vocal members also perform the same support in the pre-planned section.

When in the high notes, Ava sings it very smoothly without any wrinkles on her eyebrows as if the tone is not too high for her. The coaches who look behind the scenes cannot help but be amazed.

Ava's team also danced in a very coordinated and very compact manner, moving them about the same. The view is certainly comfortable to see, the audience. Expression, singing, rap, to choreography almost nothing wrong or unsightly.

When they finished and did the final pose, the spectators cheered for them. Fans who were watching also started shouting their names happily even asking for an encore.

The team members, Ava could not help the excitement in the middle of regulating their breath. Their struggles and strenuous training finally paid off so sweetly today.

Meanwhile, the coaches behind the scenes could only clap their hands satisfied with the satisfied smiles on their faces.

“Ava seems to have a very high vocal range.” Vincent said with admiration. “He can sing high notes without flinching.”

“But it looks like this team is the last team formed right ?” ask Paris.

Keegan looked at Ava's face that looked down respecting the audience before descending and the stage with a mysterious smile. Only later, as an MC did he allow the second team to take the stage.

Because of the cool and compact performance of the first team, making the second team look less even though they did not make any mistakes at all. It's just that the impact of the second performance doesn't seem to be too haphazard to the audience. But even so the audience still cheered and gave a standing ovation to them.

Backstage, the two teams sat separately awaiting scoring scores for both groups. Ava's team didn't look agitated at all and sat quietly as they didn't really care about the result. They have performed a very satisfying show.

So when the countdown started, the second team was already looking very nervous. They know they are very less than the opposing team but still hope to get enough points.

The nameplates of both teams are opened and each individual name in the team is also opened. One by one the points are finally out and for a while, the name of the first team always has a higher point. Ava's name happens to be the last and has the highest points.

Cheer up the joy of the first team as they won the battle group stage this time around.

While the atmosphere in the second team looks very bleak, but they also strengthen each other despite being sad because they lost this battle group.

As soon as they finished, they returned to the waiting room and watched the rest of the show with the others. But this time they did not feel nervous anymore, but instead felt excited because they had done the show and won.

Having already performed, Ava did not sit waiting in the waiting room, but went to the dressing room. When she came in there were some stylists and makeup artists who saw her coming. Ava gave a small nod as if asking for permission, but they could only nod and let them in. Ava sat on the sofa in the room with a lazy and tired posture. Not long after he tilted his head and fell asleep quickly.

He deliberately did not sit in the waiting room with other members because there is a camera that will certainly highlight it, so he ran away and slept in the dressing room before he couldn't sleep because he had to go up on stage, but this time he wouldn't hold back. Fighting for the past few days left him extremely exhausted once he finished his performance.

Now he only needed to wait for the time of the final announcement before he returned to their dormitory.

Ava had no idea how long she had been asleep on the spot, nor did she even realize that someone was taking pictures of her sleeping self. He fell asleep until one of his team members came and woke him up.

“Ava wake up, we have to assemble again.” said Hailey who was in charge of waking him up.

Ava took a deep breath and stretched her muscles before leaving with Hailey to regroup. Fortunately he was not late, even though it was already crowded when he came.

Keegan stands on stage holding a mic as well as paper, preparing to announce. When all the trainees had lined up according to his team, Keegan finally raised her mic and started talking.

“Before, I wanted to congratulate all of you for completing your first appearance so well. Regardless of who wins or loses, you have done very well.” Keegan sincerely looks at all the trainees who performed today and feels they have done their best. “But since this is a show so of course don't be the best anyway who will win. So now let's look at the final result of the winner in this battle group.”

The winner of each song will return in the contest from the number of votes they get. For groups that have the highest vote will get additional votes.

On the big screen, there is a number board according to the number again. One by one the songs appeared from the bottom up to number one. Ava's group vote is at number three which is neither too low nor too high.

Even so they looked very happy and stared at each other with proud nods. The first place is a song performed by Sophie's team of good friends Ava while the second team is Vivian Evans' team. This is somewhat surprising because their tiim have members with solid abilities, but seem to lose to Sophie's team who perform the song more wholeheartedly.

Ava was happy with the success of her best friend. But she could not meet Sophie for a while because as soon as she returned to the dorm she immediately took a bath and fell asleep instantly from fatigue.
