Chapter 6: First Training

Finally the recording ended, the participants were welcome to have dinner first before going to the dormitory to rest before tomorrow starting the first rehearsal.

“This is my good friend, Ava Luna.” Sophie introduces Ava to both trainees from the same agency as her. “ini Kak Jennie, and this one is Pixy.”

Jennie, the long black haired girl with her sweet face. While Pixy is a short-haired shoulder-length girl who is rather chubby. The two smiled broadly at Ava saying hello to him. Ava herself couldn't get close to new people so easily, so she smiled a little then lowered her head again to her food.

Pixy looked at Jennie and Sophie in confusion. Sophie approached her two colleagues while whispering. “She's a bit introverted, it's hard to be friends with new people.” she explains.

Pixy and Jennie nodded at the same time but both glanced at Ava who was focused on eating her without looking at them anymore. They don't think about it anymore and instead focus on their food.

“I heard the possibility of our room will be random this time.” whispered Pixy said what she heard earlier then glanced at Ava who was still down. “Is your friend going to be okay ?” tanyanya's worried.

Sophie sees Ava who is a bit difficult to socialize with new people. “He will be fine.” Sophie said somewhat whispering. “If you need help in training, just tell me, we can train together with Ava. He's a great person at teaching.”

Pixy looked at Jennie and the two of them both had thoughts in their heads. Sophie is a new trainee who is quite great and very friendly, they easily get along with her, but they are not sure that Sophie's friend. Ava's a little hard to get close to.

They don't say what's in their heads and choose to believe in Sophie and don't want to ruin their friendship.

When mealtime is over, all trainees should go to their dorms and rest first before their first practice tomorrow. Initially Ava walks along with Sophie but then they have to part ways due to different rooms. But despite being separated, their rooms were not too far away and were only two rooms apart from each other.

Ava who entered rather late, stood awkwardly in front of the room door. His roommate was already in the room and seemed to start choosing a mattress while talking.

Their room had two bunk beds and two other mattresses on top of the trainees' closet. One of the mattresses in the closet was not chosen, so Ava went into the room and approached the mattress.

The five people in the room finally came to a realization with Ava's presence in the room and they fell silent for a while as they were fascinated by Ava who was close to them.

Ava lowered her small head. “Hallo.”

One of them reacted immediately. “Hah... You are so beautiful.” she said with an enchanted face.

Ava inevitably bit her lips out of nervousness. “Thank you,”

“No need to be nervous, introduce my name Hana, this year is 20 years” said a girl standing in front of Ava.

“I Rumi, 18 years”

“My name is Violet, this year is 19 years old.” said the girl who previously praised him, he seems to have a very cheerful personality.

“Claudy, this year is 21 years old.”

“Crystal, 17 years”

“Ava, 19 years.” said Ava introduced herself then busy pulling her suitcase inside.

“It looks like you are a bit shy.” said Violet directly looking at Ava who seems a bit difficult to socialize.

Ava plays her fingers. “I'm just a little hard to socialize.”

“Ah an Introvert yes.” Claudy seemed to understand that this beautiful roommate was a bit stiff.

Ava smiled awkwardly then glanced at the bathroom. “Can I shower first ?” ava asked then trying to let go of the awkwardness within her. He was a little tired and wanted to go to bed soon.

Everyone was silent for a moment before nodding in agreement one by one.

“Ava is it not papa if you are in this mattress ?” hana asked while pointing at the bed in front of her.

Ava nodded with a small smile. “Sure, I have no problem with it.” Ava said as she took out her stuff and put it in her closet.

When he opened the closet, he found a long dark blue t-shirt hanging inside. Ava took it out in surprise and found the alphabetical writing B on the back.”

“Wah! Class B get blue color!” violet said in shock to see the blue t-shirt in Ava's hand. “I am in class C yellow.”

“Class D get green mint.” says Rumi shows her shirt

The youngest Crystal took out a grey t-shirt from her closet. “Grey Colors that really add gloom.” comments

“Then what about class A ?” violet asked excitedly to Hana who still did not show her clothes.

Hana smiled then took out a long pink sleeve shirt from the closet and showed it. “I can pink.”

Violet immediately opened her mouth in admiration. “Pink! My favorite color!” She hugged Hana sadly. “Pink!”

Hana hugged Violet who was feeling sad while patting her trying to encourage her. “You have to work hard if you want to get this pink shirt.”

Violet looked at Hana sadly but then she nodded. Ava on the other hand had unpacked the contents of her closet and found there was a diary book with a pedestal and flashlight, shoes, long and short training pants in it.

Ava then arranged the item and put it in the closet quickly and then took the toiletries and towels, went to the bathroom without sound.

When everyone was conscious, Ava had already entered the bathroom and there was only the sound of water running in it.

“She's very fast!” violet said dumbfoundedly hearing Ava was already in the bathroom.

“Better don't force it too much, she seems a bit introverted.” said Hana realized that Ava is a bit difficult to approach.

The four people in the room nodded together then returned to take care of their belongings while conversing.

In the bathroom, Ava let out a long sigh while taking off her clothes, she felt her entire body was extremely stiff and tired. Incidentally there is warm water so that it can relieve fatigue a little after bathing.

Once out of the bathroom along with the warm water vapor made Ava look very fresh. The girls in the same room as Ava were once again fascinated to see Ava who looked like a fairy living in the high mountains with mist enveloping her.

Ava who was drying her hair with a towel looked at her roommate in surprise. “Oh, there is warm water, it feels very comfortable.” Ava said telling them. Everyone nodded simultaneously then came to their senses from their gazes and started moving again.

Ava, who escaped everyone's gaze, climbed into her bunk bed and slept on her stomach on the mattress with her fatigue.

Hana who got the mattress across from Ava's bed saw that she was already lying on the bed comfortably. “Are you going to sleep ?”

Ava raised her head slightly then nodded. “I am so tired, I will sleep first.” Ava said slowly.

“Good during sleep.” Hana said with a gentle smile.

As soon as she finished speaking, Ava again drowned her head on the pillow and went straight to sleep without being bothered by anything.

All trainees are busy with their own activities because they are free hours. The staff suddenly knocked on every door of the dorm room and said that there was an inspection to confiscate unnecessary items.

“Please remove unnecessary items such as electronics and snacks. In addition to clothes and personal items all please put in the box.” said the staff on duty.

Sure everyone became a bit panicked, but under the supervision of the on-duty staff, they were collecting unnecessary items. Coincidentally because Ava's mattress was close to the door, the Staff saw Ava who was already sleeping on the mattress confused.

Hana took the initiative to say that Ava did not bring anything that was not needed because she had seen Ava's empty suitcase and the contents of the closet were neatly arranged. The staff finally let go of Ava who was asleep and left with a box filled with prohibited items such as electronics and snacks.

Then after the examination hours, Sophie, who was done with arranging and socializing with her roommate, intended to go visit Ava's room.

When she entered, she saw the girls talking in the bed down in a soft voice and they immediately turned to see Sophie coming in.

“I'm sorry, I was looking for my friend,” Sophie said politely then scanned and found Ava who was asleep in her bed.

Hana sees Ava falling asleep instantly understanding that she is the person Sophie is looking for. “After shower, he went straight to sleep.” he explained.

Sophie nodded in understanding and then happily talked to Ava's roommate. Violet who has a personality similar to Sophie gets along and talks about many things.

When they laugh out loud at Violet's jokes, Hana warns them to calm down because Ava is sleeping.

But Sophie waved her hand. “No need to worry, he sleeps like a rock, don't wake up if you don't touch him.”

Claudy who heard that Sophie seemed to know Ava well asked curiously, “It looks like you know Ava quite well.”

“We're friends since childhood, he's been like my own brother.” Sophie said proudly. “He is indeed a rather difficult person to approach, but is a very good person.”

“She looks like a very introverted person.” Rumi said then glanced at Ava who was sleeping on her mattress.

“Indeed she was a bit introverted.” Sophie said confirming the information.

After a brief discussion about Ava, they talked about other topics such as their practice sessions and what they had learned before. For those who experience the same thing can usually understand each other about what is felt by each other better. Therefore their conversation was very exciting and full until nightfall, when they had to sleep.

Sophie left the room so that everyone could go to sleep immediately.

The next day, in the morning when the sun had not yet shone. Ava was already sitting on her bed staring blankly at the surroundings. No one seems to have woken up yet, so Ava goes to the bathroom in her training shirt and intends to go for a quick morning run before the workout.

The hallway was still quiet when Ava went outside, the air was a bit cold but did not discourage Ava to run around her dormitory building several times before returning to the dormitory. The atmosphere of the morning while calming, Ava stretching in front of the dormitory after running a few rounds and flexing her body because she felt a bit stiff because she had to sit all day yesterday.

After feeling lighter, Ava returned to the dormitory and found some staff passing by in the hallway. They were shocked to see Ava who had just returned from a rice run. Ava lowered her head and returned to her room under the supervision of the staff.

When she returned to the room, Ava looked at her sleeping roommates and thought about waking them up. Ava checked the clock and found that it was now almost 7 a.m. So Ava went to the bathroom to refresh herself first and woke up her roommate.

As soon as Ava finished taking a bath, she headed to Hana's bed and woke her up. “Hana, it looks like we have to wake up.” Ava said wake her up.

“Almost 7.” Ava replied.

Hana finally sat on the bed while rubbing her eyes.

“I'll wake the others.” Ava said then start waking the others.

“Let me sleep longer.” muttered Violet in her sleep.

Ava did not bother him anymore and instead arranged her bed while saying. “Outside there are many staff who seem to be preparing. I don't know what it is for but you better get ready soon if you don't want to be late.”

A few seconds after Ava's words fell, everyone who was still lazing instantly got up and rushed off to the bathroom. Ava then casually sat cross-legged on the bed in a training shirt that had been prepared beforehand. He waited and saw his friends moving frantically there were some who brushed their teeth while others used the powder so as not to be too plain.

Exactly a few minutes into the furore in the room, an energetic song was heard on the speakers installed in the room. All of Ava's roommates instantly fell silent while looking at the speakers before they instantly moved quickly to complete their routine.

After that energy song, an announcement was heard from the speakers. “Now, all trainee participants are required to go to studio B in 15 minutes, those who do not come will be disqualified from the first stage.”

As soon as the announcement fell, all the trainees who complained at first jumped off the bed in panic. Ava's own roommates also immediately accelerate their activities so as not to be late.

Ava casually put on her shoes and immediately got out of the dorm and walked leisurely to studio B at her destination. This studio was the studio where they had previously filmed in the beginning.

Ava walked leisurely but not too slowly and got to studio B first before the other participants. The staff who had been on stand by stared in wonder at Ava had already arrived first and stood up confusedly staring at her surroundings.

The videographer in charge of capturing the trainees moments was happy to highlight Ava who had a very good appearance on camera. For a while, all the cameras in place panned it to get Ava's reaction.

Ava also stared at all the cameras in the place calmly and sometimes tilted her head and then casually, She did some moves while observing the staff behind the scenes. Then he felt he would wait a long time and Ava sat down on the floor and looked back at the staff.

So that not too long Ava waited, finally the trainee participants entered one by one with their sleepy and innocent faces.

They then rubbed their faces trying to resuscitate themselves. Slowly began many participants who came and they were mostly still half sleepy. Some even carry beauty equipment such as powder to polish their faces.

Finally 15 minutes later all the participants gathered in the studio. Sophie came a bit late and it looked like she was not in a daze. So Ava walked up to him and stood next to him by patting him on the shoulder trying to make him aware.

“They're too cruel! It's only 7!” moaning Sophie while hugging Ava spoiledly.

Ava patted Sophie's shoulder trying to make her conscious. “Are you not ashamed if it looks like this in front of the camera ?”

Hearing the words of the camera, Sophie immediately regained her senses. He released a hug Ava stood upright while analyzing the surroundings and discovered there were indeed several cameras around them.

Then he looked at Ava nervously. “Shouldn't papa right?”

Ava smiled slightly seeing him nervous. “Means I ask you to wake up immediately before you do anything else.” Ava said.

Sophie nodded and started patting her cheeks. “I've realized no need to worry.” he said with slightly flushed cheeks.

Their vocal coach and Parisian singer came up the stage with a mic. “Good morning all trainees.” said Paris greeted them.

“Good morning!” reply the trainee participants with a loud tone.

“How is your night sleep ?” ask Paris gently.

“Yes!”

“No fun!”

Everyone's response was different and made Paris laugh amusedly look at it.

“It is nice to know the condition of the trainees all, At this time I will notify an announcement. The first training will start at 8, after your breakfast time. So all trainees are asked to prepare and gather again at this place before 8. There will be a practice together before you will train with each rank class.” Paris gave this announcement and asked all trainees to go to breakfast immediately before practice time.

Ava herself went straight to the cafeteria to eat because she herself was ready with a workout outfit and only needed breakfast before going to practice with other participants.

When the preparation time was up, the trainees all regrouped at the same place only this time everything lined up according to their ranks.

Ava stood on the edge of the line and next to her was Sophie who was also at B rank.

“I feel a bit nervous because this is our first exercise. The coaches will definitely teach us here simultaneously right.” Sophie said guessing what they will do. Ava nodded in agreement but remained silent not responding more.

Before long, the judges who judged their previous vocals came over. Paris and Vincent will teach them how to sing. Staff distributed lyric papers to all students.

“Halo all trainees!” greet Paris cheerfully and welcomed by the participants. “it seems after breakfast, your spirit is getting bigger. Then let's start our training. This time we will have the first practice together before you will practice separately with your class. We'll give you 10 minutes to practice this song on your own. Please start.”

Sophie who was holding the lyric and music paper in her hands was a bit confused and inevitably looked at Ava next to her with a miserable look.

“This song is too high.” Sophie said sadly on the sidelines of everyone who took pains to try singing high notes on the song.

Ava briefly reads the song with the key on the paper and looks at Sophie. “You can reach this tone. Let's try.” Ava said casually and began to sing the initial tone of the song slowly.

Sophie confronts Ava and begins to follow Ava singing. Ava always taught Ava this way and asked her not to think about anything the most important thing was the feeling of trying the song first before being intimidated by the high notes in the song.

As she reaches a high note in the song, Ava continues to sing and Sophie focuses on following Ava's tone and voice until she reaches the high note in the song. When she finished the song, Sophie looked at Ava in surprise.

“I reached that tone ?!” sophie said in shock.

“I told you, with your voice, it is not difficult to reach this tone.” Ava said casually. “One more time, this time I won't sing. Do.”

Sophie excitedly tried to go back and sing it, as before, she could smoothly sing it. “Oh! I made it again.”

Ava nodded. “Stay how you will sing it while dancing.”

Sophie was very excited and went back to trying especially the high notes in the song over and over again.

Ava herself tried it again several times and found no great difficulty. As Ava raised her head, Ava heard just now that it was class A that it seemed like some were having trouble singing in high notes.

Ava did not pay attention to it anymore and again noticed Sophie who was still practicing and getting used to the song. Ava also tried a few more times before the coaches asked them to sing in groups.

Sure enough A rank does seem to have a hard time reaching a high note and the coach seems a bit unhappy with this.

“I did not expect class A could not reach this tone.” said Paris rather disappointedly. “I hope in the next class, you guys can practice more and improve it.”

After the disappointment in class A, class B was asked to go ahead and try. Sophie came forward confidently and when they started singing, Unexpectedly, Sophie managed to sing it so comfortably that even the other trainees were shocked.

Paris and Vincent look satisfied, “Trainee Sophie! You can sing it very comfortably. Very nice! Preserve.”

Sophie smiled happily at the compliment. “Thank you coach!”

The trainees who saw Sophie managed to sing it smoothly stared enviously and started gritting their teeth determined to be able to sing it as well.

The practice continues with the trainers testing the next class until completion in class F. Amongst everyone only a few people could actually directly try to sing it comfortably including Ava and Sophie. The coaches paid more attention especially to Sophie who seemed to be very talented in singing.

After a vocal training session, they were given a short rest period and went straight to the dance session. This session, some people took to the stage including Orion and Lilith. The two wore training clothes and prepared to train all the trainees.

“Halo all trainees! Before the training process, let's look at the choreography video first.” As soon as Orion finished saying it, the screen behind turned into a choreographed video that they had previously seen.

Ava this time noticed more details of existing movements and began to remember, especially the fast movements that exist. After that start repeating the move in a slower process.

When the video finished playing, the participants began to complain about the very difficult and fast movement. Sophie herself who was also watching quietly next to him could only sigh long.

“This choreography is very unfriendly for beginners.” complained Sophie with a sad face.

Ava looked at Sophie with a plain face and gave her a rather shocking fact. “Almost all movement in the video was move base.”

Ava's voice was not large but could be heard by some trainees standing around Ava and Sophie. The faces of everyone who heard it were instantly ugly and displeased. They looked at Ava unhappily and looked rather cynical.

Sophie shows a surprised face with Ava's comments about ‘move basic’. “Created ?” sophie asked in disbelief. He seemed unaffected by his surroundings and was a firm believer in Ava.

Ava of course saw a small response from the other participants around her who looked unhappy. But he just nodded at Sophie. “True, the difficult thing is this koreo needs stamina.”

Sophie nodded in understanding.

“Good because everyone saw the video earlier. Now we will try it starting from the beginning.” Orion said then began to put the dancers a bit wide so that the participants can see.

Ava follows the move easily and without any pressure at all. She occasionally even corrects Sophie's movements and poses. This move will not be difficult for those who are used to dancing and are used to practicing. But for those in class D and F this move is a bit difficult. They feel frustrated because they cannot take training.

When the core of the dance is finished being taught, the trainers ask for the classmate to perform the core dance. In the case of class A dance, they can not be underestimated, they finish the dance easily. Especially in moves that have to move fast, they execute it perfectly.

The trainers even nodded happily and were satisfied with the performance of the A-class dance. Participants from class B were a bit nervous to see class A participants who showed perfect looks.

Participants in class B dance as soon as the song is played, but in class B there are still some participants who learn slowly. So some that dance well and others are a bit hard to follow especially when moving fast.

But despite some mistakes, the coaches seem to appreciate it enough and ask them to train even more in the future.

Class B being moved to the back can finally be relieved. Sophie especially began to discuss with Ava about moving quickly and asked her to teach him again. Of course Ava did not refuse and looked at Sophie seriously and often fixed Sophie's movements.

Their interaction eventually had to end because they had to go to lunch first before moving to each class. On the sidelines of this room change, the interaction of the participants is also highlighted to enter the room where they must practice.
