Chapter 19: First Elimination

Two days passed after the individual filming day. On the same day all of their videos were uploaded to the official website so that many people could see them. During these two days, the staff opened the votes so that everyone could vote after seeing the individual videos of the girls.

“I'm a National Producer Representative, Keegan. It's good to see you today. Today was the day of the decider, the First Rank Announcement which would only leave 58 trainees. While other trainees will go home.” Keegan said how many will survive and who will go home. This made all the trainees gloomy.

“This announcement will also determine your ranking based on the results of a vote that has been conducted for almost three weeks by the audience via the website, which is, additional voice during group battle and also additional voice for the group that won.”

All the trainees became increasingly nervous and they held hands with their palms already in cold sweat.

The last one has a song for rap that is red. One collaboration song, two songs from a male solo, and one song from a female soloist. Each song has a quota of 4 people.

All the songs look very interesting and trainees are very excited to choose them. They discussed and pointed at the songs with happy expressions. Unfortunately there was one person who looked at the list of songs rather confusedly.

Ava stood in her place and looked at the list of songs expressionlessly. She saw one song ever made on the board, a song for a popular girl group. Vivian was then encouraged to move forward, as Sydney asked Keegan about the choice of position he wanted to take.

“I will choose dance.” he said in a slow voice. This time he wants to compete with Ava and see who is more among them in the dance.

Keegan nodded and let Vivian go behind the wall to choose the song she wanted. He chose a song that needed a sexy tempo that was very different from his present image. He wanted to try and make Ava lose to him.

But unfortunately, Vivian thought too much when it was Ava's turn forward she was questioned by Keegan first.

Ava answered briefly but managed to make Keegan surprised to hear Ava's choice. “You sure ? Why not just choose another one according to your ability.”

“I'm sure I can.” he said before finally being let Keegan go behind the wall.

Keegan tried to control her shocked expression so that the other trainees could not guess. But her efforts were useless when she heard Vivian's shrill scream that exclaimed in shock from behind the wall.
