Chapter 8: The Record

Ava who returned to the dormitory saw that the room was dark because everyone was asleep. Ava took an alternate shower with Crystal and went straight to bed as soon as she touched the mattress. The effect of the training had just been felt now, he fell asleep immediately as soon as he threw himself into the bed.

Ava actually has a biological clock that is always right and although she always sleeps at dawn, Ava always wakes up at exactly 6 am before choosing to wake up or go back to sleep. Ava of course did not go back to sleep, the cafeteria was open at 7:00 and there would be morning exercises with the coaches again afterwards.

So Ava lifted her weight to the bathroom to wash her face before changing into a training shirt and going for a morning run. Ava came out of her room and did a short warm-up before starting to run a few rounds

Ava ran lightly just to get herself up and to add her stamina. Ava only ran two to three rounds before returning to the dormitory. Before entering, Ava looks at the clock and finds almost seven o'clock where everyone has to get up.

Ava wakes Hana up to Crystal and tells them to take a bath because there is a schedule to practice. Ava then stopped by the area in the dormitory that provides drinks to snacks in the form of fruit for trainees.

Ava picked up some fruit and took it back to the room to give back to her roommate. Before leaving, Ava knocks on Sophie's room and manages to wake up the person in the room before leaving. When she finished, Ava went downstairs to the dormitory and waited there with the fruit in her hand.

While waiting, there are not many cameras in the place because usually people just pass by so there are no cameras in the place. So quite a lot of trainee participants are sitting here to just be themselves. Ava waited with her sleepy face while waiting for Sophie to come. The other trainee participants who passed by occasionally stared at Ava but then just passed by without actually greeting.

Suddenly someone sitting in a chair across from Ava caught his attention. So Ava raised her gaze and found a girl sitting opposite her with a smile. “Hallo, my name is Vivian Evans, can we meet ?” ask her with a sweet smile.

Ava did not reply for a while but she nodded slowly without answering her words. The reason for that was because he could not quite get along with the new person if without there Sophie melted the atmosphere. So he just stayed quiet on the spot.

Vivian who was initially very excited at first was now a bit scowled because Ava who was held instead did not reply and just silently looked at him. But Vivian did not give up, she could see a good opportunity if this beautiful girl could get contracted by her company. However, his company was his father's so it was better if he could get another dairy cow for his father.

“How about your training ? Is going smoothly.” asked Vivian still with her spirit.

Ava took a pause before nodding softly without a sound.

Vivian went back. Can this girl or what ? Why didn't he answer anything earlier. “If you have trouble, I can teach you. You only need to come to class A after hours class schedule with the trainers.”

Ava could only shake her head like saying there was no need to teach her.

Vivian finally starts to get irritated because Ava doesn't seem to respond well. “Why didn't you respond to me ? I just want to get acquainted.” he said rather frustratingly.

Ava fell silent then turned her gaze in confusion. “He didn't want to answer but the other party seemed to be too excited by him.

Vivian snorted exasperatedly looking at her while muttering she got up and left, “What is she that, was up and down just because she was beautiful, she didn't even answer my question”

Ava didn't really listen to him and instead thought about how she should live her day today.

Not long after Vivian left, Sophie finally got down from her room in a hurry. When he got in front of Ava he clenched his hands together apologizing. “I'm sorry! I'm too tired, so it's kind of hard to get up!” he said with regret.

Ava looked at him and immediately stood away. “We're late, come on!”

Sophie follows Ava quickly and they both go for breakfast before going to class and starting to practice again.

Sophie who was under Ava's guidance for a day of practice, became more and better. He earned a lot of praise from the coaches for having improved in such a short period of time. Ava herself could control how much to show so the coaches didn't really notice any changes except for her slightly improved vocals and asked her to continue training.

Sophie's agency friend approached those who were sitting on the other end of the break after class. Jennie and Pixy come with a desire to have the two teach them. Sophie looked at Ava who did not respond, then decided to help the two as they were her friends.

Ava did not move and just sat leaning back staring at the three people who started dancing and singing. The abilities of both of Ava's agency friends aren't too bad but they still need a lot of practice. Their body lines while dancing are not as good as Sophie who has been training all night with her. Their own vocals are pretty good, but dancing becomes a bit unstable.

As soon as they finished, Sophie turned around and looked at the lazy-leaning Ava. “What do you think ?” sophie asked as she approached Ava.

“They still have to find a good move for them, their vocals are good, but it still needs a lot of practice so it is more stable when dancing.” Ava said casually saying all the shortcomings of both.

Jennie and Pixy were rather surprised to hear Ava giving them the comment.

“Well, I did have some trouble stabilizing my voice.” Jennie said rather regretfully.

“Not can be done with a lot of singing by doing move ?” tany Sophie to Ava and retorted a nod.

“Is it ? Then I will move a lot while singing.” said Jennie rather happy after getting advice.

“Then what about me, what do you think I should do ?” pixy asked, asking.

“Do choreography slowly while being a way of showing body lines more beautifully.” Ava said casually. “Do it slowly and repeatedly so that your body remembers move it.”

Pixy nodded calmly. She recalled that indeed her dance teacher had also said the same thing. He needs to do a lot of practice to find the right moves and look beautiful so it's not just dancing.

Pixy and Jennie looked at each other and thanked them before leaving.

“I didn't think Sophie's friend could really help, I thought she was just some nonsense.” Jennie comments in awe.

“I agree, she doesn't really look like a weak person.” said Pixy agreed to Jennie's words.

In her own home, Sophie takes Ava to the cafeteria for lunch before continuing to train. Both of them walked to the cafeteria which was a bit less crowded because it was past the crowded lunch hour.

“Cantin food is pretty good, even better than our canteen in school.” Sophie said as she bribed the food on her plate.

Ava who had also started eating also nodded in agreement. “At least there are several types of food here. Pretty good.”

“The best thing is they don't tell us to go on a diet!” sophie said while eating happily.  “It is very sad if we still have to diet while training hard like now.”

Ava simply nodded and continued to focus on her food. As the two were eating suddenly Crystal and Melody came up to them with a happy smile on her face.

“Ava!” Melody was very happy and immediately sat down next to Ava. “Thank you ! I got compliments in class today.” Melody said excitedly.

“Many are surprised by our progress in class.” said Crystal added. “the coaches also said that we can at least enter C class if continue to train it.”

Melody also nodded with a happy smile.

Ava did not pay attention to continue eating without making more reactions. Sophie herself was also happy to listen to both get a lot of praise and progress rapidly. Like their bodies that could instantly move as soon as the music lit up.

Sophie became happy because there were people who could finally understand her point well. “I told you that Ava does have a good eye, she can analyze and train people well. You just need to trust him even though it is a bit difficult.”

Melody and Crystal agree with Sophie and become like Sophie, who admires Ava. The three of them looked at Ava with stars of admiration. Ava raised her gaze and looked at the three expressionlessly.

“Because you can feel very helped, then tonight you will not rest before you can do 10x exercises without error.” Ava said while cleaning food equipment.

The three were silent at Ava's sudden words like that. The atmosphere that was originally very pleasant became serious and gloomy because of Ava's words. They've experienced the feeling of training with Ava and it's very tiring.

Sophie, Crystal and Melody thought maybe Ava was just joking because she had previously let them go during practice. But it seemed like they were too trivial, Ava ended up actually doing what was said before. Ava also danced and sang with them so they did not dare to stop because she did not stop.

Ava went to practice in class F with the three of them because some from class F really felt helped by her presence in class. So Ava spent the time after lunch in class F and stared at some of the students in class F for a while.

Although not directly asking Ava's advice but they pay attention every time Ava screams about something very important such as posture, vocals, to their expressions. So indirectly they will be helped by these suggestions.

News of Ava's presence in class F for training has spread to some of the other trainees and they intend to stop by class F just to see. At first they only saw but after seeing Ava continued to dance very well, make them become self-aware and start practicing to fix what is wrong from everything in accordance with what Ava often says.

Towards dinner, the other trainees who were just doing exercises with them finally started to feel tired and ended up sitting on the side while continuing to look at those who were still training for several hours.

“Are they not tired ?” ask one of the trainees in class F while wiping his sweat.

“i think they must be tired, it's just, Ava didn't let them rest more than 10 minutes.”

“They've been practicing since lunch right?”

The trainees gathered were stunned to see the four people who continued to dance and dance nonstop until dinner arrived.

“Good, let's take a break and have dinner first.” says Ava brings a breath of fresh air to Sophie, Melody and Crystal.

These three people instantly collapsed on the floor with gasping breath and sweat. Ava herself was also sweating very profusely, but her stamina was better than the other three people who were already gasping for air because it was unusual. Ava looked at the three people lying on the floor of the training room with their trembling legs.

Sophie who managed to control her breathing finally sat down while cross-legged on the floor. “To be honest after training so many, this choreography is not as difficult at the beginning.” Sophie said.

Melody got up and sat up and showed her irritated face. “You're kidding me ?! The choreography is difficult! I'm even still having trouble doing quick moves.”

“But even so I have to admit that moving this is not as complicated as moving any other dance I have ever done.” Crystal felt that this move was getting easier for her, even more so after training her at a high enough intensity.

Melody was silent for a while thinking about the moves she had been doing for this long time, it was indeed not too difficult but making it look beautiful to look at was much harder for her.

“What do you think Ava ?” sophie asked trying to pull Ava into their conversation.

Ava raised her gaze and looked at the three in turn before replying, “Don't I say at the beginning, almost all moves in this koreo are very basic and simple. Just some tough moves. But the problem is that the more basic the movement will be more difficult to execute because you must know how to use your body to make this move more attractive even though it is too basic.”

All who heard Ava's words felt that her words made sense. Move more simple will be more difficult to execute if it does not have enough solid ability. This is the first test for them.

Sophie glanced at the camera at the end of the room then said curiously. “Do you think our three-day training process will be recorded in its entirety ?”

Inevitably those who heard it immediately looked at the camera and they only realized that the brand forgot the presence of the camera they had been all along. At first they were nervous because of the camera so they could not train seriously. But since Ava existed, her presence makes them more interested in learning than caring about the presence of the camera.

Ava also glanced at the camera indifferently saying, “I don't think you need to worry about it. Now all you need to worry about is whether you will dance on stage or will just be a backup dancer for another class. The rest get rid of your head.”

Sophie nodded in agreement with Ava's words. “You're right! If we make it onto the stage, we'll have a chance to get exposure from the camera. That's what we need to worry about now.”

“Then should we start the exercise again ?” ask Ava lightly.

“Can we go to dinner first.” says Crystal with kneeling position. “I feel like my legs don't have any more power.”

Ava looked at Crystal while thinking about it. “Good, let's eat!”

The next day, Ava does a morning run before returning to the dorm building her roommate and Sophie's roommate to get up. After which, he put on his training uniform and sat on the first floor with fruit as usual.

Vivian who walks with her friends also sees Ava but does not greet her and passes her by. Ava did not respond and did not care about it, she just waited for Sophie before going to the cafeteria for breakfast.

Today is the second evaluation day that can change the destiny of all trainees through the theme song song from Unlimited Youth Girls. Most trainees do breakfast more quickly to return to training again after his.

Ava, Sophie, Crystal and Melody along with some of the participants in class F stayed until three in the morning before Ava allowed them to rest. The participants all felt very nervous especially those in class F, all hoping somewhat they could move up to a better class in order to perform on stage.

Ava had breakfast with Sophie, Crystal and Melody. He gave them some advice and a final evaluation before getting into their respective classes. Ava and Sophie go to class B again and start practicing at the other end of the room in silence to perfect the move before the time to record the assessment video later.

At exactly 10 o'clock, the trainees were gathered by staff who were preparing to install cameras to be used for recording. Susana of course became tense and many trainee participants were tense and kept sighing. Some trainees are eager to try and have hope of going further.

Ava and Sophie sat on the sidelines with two different feelings. Sophie looked nervous while Ava looked very indifferent and looked at the prepared staff.

“Ava I'm so nervous!” whispered Sophie while rubbing her cold hands. Grabbing her cold hand, Ava rubbed it with it to make it warmer.

“No need to worry, try to think about the feeling most similar to this song.” Ava said calmly as she continued to rub Sophie's hands.

Hearing it, made Sophie think to find an experience that could make her sing this song well. Sophie thought for quite a while before she found something that could represent this song well.

“I have it, I think I can do well.” Sophie said with a gentle smile looking at Ava's hand trying to warm her hand.

Ava looked at Sophie in wonder. “Thank God if you can find the right experience.”

Sophie looked at Ava somewhat wistfully but she held it in.

The staff finally finished setting up the camera. “So who wants to advance first ?” asked one of the staff standing looking at them.

All the trainees stared at each other including Sophie. He could see that no one really wanted to advance first. So he dared to raise his hand. “I'll go first!”

Ava raised her head and looked at Sophie in wonder. He always wanted Ava to advance first but this time it was a bit different. The rising Sophie stood back up and looked at Ava excitedly before going to the camera.

The staff explained a little how they should record it before letting Sophie stand in the middle of the room. Sophie looked more relaxed than ever, She saw the staff giving her a sign to record before walking into the camera and pressing the camera power button.

The camera starts recording and Sophie's sweet face is seen on camera. He smiled slightly while making sure the camera was working properly before returning to the center of the room.

After that, he made the initial move of the choreography waiting for the music to be played.

When the music's first intro rang, Sophie raised her face and gave her the best bright smile that gave a sweet impression. Then accompanied by an energetic movement at the beginning, Sophie finally began to sing with vocals that were without realizing it was very stable.

The other trainees stared in amazement at Sophie who was able to deliver a sweet, refreshing, gentle, and powerful rendition of the song. Feelings that remind them of themselves and feelings show their true selves to the world.

Ava who was sitting at the side smiled as she nodded proudly at him. Sophie managed to perform this song better than she expected. The vocals are getting more stable and a good expression without getting rid of the choreography. He should have gone up to a better level.

Sophie stopped as soon as the music finished, she bowed politely to the camera and returned to Ava's side very happily. The atmosphere created inevitably became crumbling and everyone returned to their consciousness again.

Sophie who was sitting next to Ava looked very satisfied with her appearance. “Is my appearance very good earlier ?” ask her with a happy smile.

Ava pretended to sigh while thinking of making Sophie a bit nervous. Seeing her nervousness, made Ava smile. “Very good! Not in vain our previous exercise.”

Sophie's smile bloomed again and hugged Ava happily. “I followed your advice and thought of the most suitable memory. You know what memory is?”

Ava shook her head slowly.

Sophie drew closer and whispered to Ava. “Memori you beat up those bullies! You look so handsome!”

Ava glanced at him while sighing. “You really each remember that” he said slowly.

“Of course, it was the coolest moment of my life!” sophie said slowly but still with her spirit.

Ava could smile helplessly hearing it. He turned his gaze and found that there were other trainee participants who were preparing to record. His face looked extremely nervous and somewhat stiff because of it. The insurmountable effects of rigidity made her somewhat disintegrated while dancing and her voice became somewhat unstable.

Because of this, he looked down miserably back to his place and sobbed on the spot with his friend.

Ava glanced briefly along with Sophie before being told to come forward to record. Ava stood up while thinking, Sophie should be leveling up so she needs to level up her skills in order to be in class with her if she doesn't want Sophie to make trouble for a few days for not accepting.

So Ava pretended to justify the camera before returning to the center of the room and taking the starting position. The song is about showing himself to the world, so he needs to do to convince the coaches that he deserves to be in A class.

As the music began to play, Ava raised her head and made her beautiful smile which instantly made everyone in the room freeze. Ava emitted an aura that made everyone become fascinated and could only open her mouth. On an ordinary day, Ava rarely smiled and she carried an air that no one else wanted to disturb, but today it was different, she showed an imposing aura and made people become more excited.

Ava makes moves that are clean, neat, and look easy to follow. Along with that, Ava sings high notes with ease and is very stable in each piece. Ava's expression was perfect from the beginning and at the end of the music, Ava stopped and looked at the camera with a smile wider than usual as if giving encouragement to those who saw it.

After a few seconds, Ava returned her flat face and bowed politely to the camera then returned to her seat.

The Ava effect is still not gone from the room, everyone could only sigh in awe speechlessly but in their hearts they felt even more excited because Ava was like singing to encourage everyone to show everyone themselves.

They only regained consciousness after a few seconds after Ava returned to her place. They looked at Ava and had the same thought.
