EPISODE 20'S. FIGHTING WITH JARASANDA

BRIHADRATA, commander of three regiments, came to power in the Kingdom of Magadha and gained recognition as a great hero. He married the twin daughter of King Kasi. He vowed to be fair to his two wives.

Unfortunately, despite being married for a long time, Brihadrata was not blessed with a son. When he was old, he gave his kingdom to the

ministerial. He went to the forest with his two wives and became a recluse. He went to the hermitage Resi Kausika, a descendant of Gautama, to complain of his sadness because he had not yet been blessed with a son. The sage was moved by compassion and asked what he wanted.

He said: "I have no children and go to the forest to leave your kingdom; give me a son."

my Master's son."

Brihadrata was overjoyed and handed the baby over to his two wives.

The boy was later known as Jarasanda. He grew up to be a young man. However, his body has one weakness, which is formed from two separate parts. His body could be split into two, if there was a force strong enough to separate it.

This fascinating story reveals an important truth, that two separate parts that can be fused will remain

They disguised themselves as wandering ascetics dressed in bark clothes and carried the sacred darbha grass as per ancient tradition. Thus they entered the kingdom of Magadha and arrived at the palace of Jarasanda.

At that time, Jarasanda felt a bad feeling. Therefore, he asked the priests to pray for his salvation.he himself underwent fasting and fasting. Krishna, Bima, and Arjuna entered the palace without weapons. Jarasanda welcomed them

well because their attitude and mannerisms show they come from a respectable environment. Bima and Arjuna did not

responding to Jarasanda's reprimand because they did not want to be forced to lie.

It was Krishnah who represented them: "They were both undergoing a mute ascetic. They can only talk after midnight." Jarasanda escorted them to the performance hall and returned to the palace.

Usually Jarasanda meets his guests who do tapa brata and talk to them at leisure. After midnight, he found his three guests. Jarasanda became suspicious when he saw their behavior. He also saw

in their hands were scuffles of bowstring marks and scars from bowstring. He also suspected their impressive faces

When Jarasanda asked him to tell him who they really were, they answered honestly: "We are your enemies. You can choose whom you will fight.

Bima and Jarasanda were both strong. They fought nonstop for thirteen days, without rest. Meanwhile, Krishna and Arjuna looked on with hearts pounding. On the fourteenth day, Jarasanda began to show signs of exhaustion. Krishna signaled to Bima that now is the right time

to kill. Bima immediately lifted Jarasanda up high, turned it, then with all his might slammed it into the ground until his body split in two. Bima shouted out a victory cry with excitement.

The two pieces of the body were fused back together and thus Jarasanda came to life again. It becomes stronger and more direct

attacking Bima.

Bima. He did not know what to do when he saw Krishna brandishing a rapid. Krishna cut it in half and threw the two pieces in the opposite direction. Bima immediately understood. And again, after

slamming Jarasanda in half, he immediately threw the two pieces of the body away in the opposite direction. This time, Jarasanda really met his death.

The sons of the captive king were freed and the son of Jarasanda was crowned King of Magadha. Then Krishna, Bima and Arjuna returned to Indraprastra.
