CHITRANGADA, Setyawati's son, was killed in the fight against the axes. Since he had no children, his younger brother, wicitrawirya, was named as his successor. However, when he ascended the throne he was not mature enough, the reins of government in Bhisma run until he was old enough.

   When the wikitrawirya has matured enough, Bisma find a future wife for him. He heard that the daughters of King Kasi would choose a future husband according to the customs of the knights. Bhisma decided to come on behalf of her sister. The rulers of Kosala, the house, the pundra, Kalinga, and other princes also followed the contest. They wear their best clothes. The princesses of the king were so famous for their beauty and elegance that many wanted to win the competition.

   Among the knights, Bhisma was famous for being powerful and adept at using all kinds of weapons. Initially people thought that the highly respected pahlawn came just to witness the course of the competition. However, when he learned that Bhishma was following the contest, the young princes wryly lamented. No one knew he was coming for his sister, wicitrawirya.

   The princes whispered, talking about Bhisma. One said to the other: "the descendants of this best and wisest Bharata family forget themselves. He is old and forgets his promise to live as a brahmacarin who will not mate for life. Why did he join this competition? You don't know yourself!" The daughters who would choose a husband throw away face. They ignored Bhisma's presence.

    Bhisma is furious. He challenged all the crown princes to a war with him. They were all defeated. After that, he took the princess on a train that he had prepared to return to Hastinapura. Not far from the arena of the contest, they were in the field of king Salwa of the kingdom of saubala. King Salwa calls Bhisma to fight. Actually the king was already in love with the ambiance of Amba was personally chosen Salwa as husband. After a fierce fight, Salwa subdued. this defeat is not surprising because Bhisma is a difficult archer to find a match for. At the request of the princesses, Bhishma stopped killing Salwa.

   Upon his arrival in Hastinapura, Bhishma prepared for the marriage of the three princesses with a wicitrawirya. When the guests began to arrive, Amba said to Bhishma with a scornful tone, "Oh the son of Goddess Ganga, you must know what is written in the scriptures. Psychologically the servant has chosen Salwa, the king of saubala, as the husband of the servant. Master has brought servants here by force. If you truly understand the scriptures, act accordingly.

   Bhisma can accept Amba's objection. Then he sent it to Salwa. Meanwhile, the marriage of wicitrawirya and ambika and ambalika took place well and full of greatness.

  With joy, Amba went to king Salwa and told him what had happened: "from the very beginning the servant has mentally set his heart to be his holy wife. Bhisma can accept the refusal of the servant and deliver the servant to the majesty.

   King Salwa replied: "Bhisma has defeated me and has fled you before many people. I feel so humiliated. Therefore, I cannot accept you to be my wife. You better go back to Bhishma and do what he says." After saying this, the king sent his guards to send Amba back to Bhishma.

   Upon his arrival in Hastinapura, he recounted what had happened to Bhishma. Then the old prince persuaded the wicitrawirya to marry Amba. However, wicitrawirya reluctantly refused to marry the daughter who had given her heart to someone else.

   Then Amba turned to Bhishma and urged her to marry him because there was no other way.

   Bhishma could not have broken his vow. Even so, he felt compassion for Amba. Several times he persuaded his wicitrawirya, but his younger brother remained firm on his stance. There is no other way. Forced he advised Amba to return to Salwa and try to persuade her. Initially Amba heavily accepted that choice. For several years he chose to live in Hastinapura.

Finally, in a deep decision, Amba tried to return to king Salwa. Skali again, firmly Salwa refused.

   Thus, Amba Amba, who was beautiful, spent six years in depression and without hope. His heart was consumed with grief and turned into hatred and vengeance for Bhisma who he considered to have destroyed his life. In vain he tried to find a tough knight to fight and kill Bhisma, to avenge ya. Even the most famous knights were afraid of Bhisma. Finally he performed Brata's heaviest tapa to invoke the blessing to his subrahmya god. His subrahmanya god appeared before him and .gave him a lotus flower necklace. The god of the subrahmanya anyone who wears this necklace will be an enemy of Bhisma.

In the forest he met a number of Saplanes. He told me his sad experience. Then, they advised Amba to face the parasurama. Amba follow brand advice. He found the suramas.

Hearing Amba's story, Parasurama falls in pity. He said, "my daughter, what do you want now? I can ask Salwa to marry you, if you will."

   He said: "no, I don't want that anymore. I no longer wanted marriage, household, or happiness. Just one I want in life. Revenge on Bhishma. My only wish is the death of Bhisma.

  Parasurama was moved by Amba's heartache and he himself hated the knights very much. Therefore, he decided to help Amba and fight against Bhisma. The fight was long and balanced, both of them the strongest fighters of their time. But, in the end, the parasurama must recognize the superiority of Bhisma. He said: "i have tried my best and I must confess the greatness of Bhisma. That's all you can do.

   Carrying anger and sorrow and burning with the fire of vengeance, Amba went to the Himalayas to perform the very harsh tapa Brata. Fervently, he begged for the mercy of Shiva Batara. No more people can help him. Batara shiva appeared before him and gave his blessing. That in the life to come Amba will be able to kill Bhishma himself.

   Amba impatiently awaits the coming incarnation.he makes a great bonfire and plunges into it, spilling the flames of vengeance that dwell in the heart into a burning fire.

   Thanks to the help of the shiva Batara, Amba was reborn as the daughter of the drupada king. A few years later, he found a lotus necklace that he had hung at the gate of the palace. The necklace was still hanging there and had never been touched by anyone because of fear.With the flower necklace on his neck.Seeing the rash action, the king became anxious. out of fear of angering Bhisma, the drupada king exiles his daughter into the forest. In the forest his daughter did a magical Brata tapa. over time, the genitals of the King's daughter drupada turned into a man. Later he was known as Srikandi.

   In the Kuru kurusetra battlefield with Srikandi as a coachman, Arjuna attacked Bhisma. Bhisma knew Srikandi was born a woman. In accordance with the chivalric Krama system, Bhisma will not fight a woman, under any circumstances. Thanks to Srikandi, Arjuna can fight and defeat Bhisma. in addition, Arjuna can fight and defeat Bhisma, Bhisma knew that her long and exhausting sentence was over. He received with a bosom the end of his life.When arrows struck his body in the battle of incantation, he drew one that blasphemed the deepest and berkta: "this arrow belongs to Arjuna, not Srikandi."
