Once upon a time, there was a very fierce fight between gods and giants. They control all three worlds. Both sides are led by the famous figure, the divine party is led by the sage brihaspati who is very famous for his deep knowledge of the Vedas, the books of the Vedas, while the giant party is led by the wise sukrasarya teacher Arif. The giant side has a very extraordinary advantage.Sukra has the science of unseen sanjiwini, he can bring to life anyone who has died. With this knowledge, the giants who have died in war can be revived. So it happened many times and they went back to war against the Gods. As a result, the Gods side always lost against the giants in that grueling and prolonged war.
Finally, they went to kacha, the son of brihaspati, for help. They hope that kacha can captivate sukrasarya and be accepted as a student of the mahaguru.by becoming a student, the Gods hope that kacha can master the science of unseen sanjiwini, whether it be in a fraudulent or noble way, and thus spared the divine side from continual defeat.
Kacha responded to the request of the gods. Later, he went to the sukrasarya master who lived in the wrishaparwa palace, the king of the giants. In front of the great teacher, he saluted him, and said: "the servant of the grandson of the rishi angiras and the son of the rishi brihaspati. Haba had vowed to become a brahmacarin and wanted to study under the tutelage of a noble master. " As per tradition, a wise teacher should not reject a student who wants to study for him. Therefore, the great sukra said: "kacha, you come from a good family. I accept you as my student. I accept you to show my respect to your father, resi brihaspati.
Thus, kacha studied for many years at mahaguru sukrasarya. He performed all the tasks given by his teacher in earnest. Mahaguru sukrasarya has only one child, Devayani. It is to him that the master pours out his love. One of the duties of kacha is to serve and entertain Dewayani with singing, dancing or playing. Thus, Dewayani falls in love with kacha. Nevertheless, the son of the rishi brihaspati remained steadfast with his vow to live life as a brahmacarin.
When they found out about it, the giants became worried. They suspect kacha will only persuade their master to give the secret of the supernatural science of sanjiwini. Therefore, in various ways they try to block kacha.
One day, while the kacha was grazing his teacher's cattle, suddenly the giants came. They ambushed and killed him. The body of the kacha is chopped and made into dog food. Seeing his father's cattle return without kacha, Dewayani became anxious.he ran to his father with a sobbing cry, "the sun has set and the night worship of his father has been turned on, he said, kacha has not yet returned. Her herdsman's cattle have returned to the cage. Ananda was worried that something bad was happening to Kacha. Please Father, Ananda cannot live without him.
Hearing the lamentation of his son, mahaguru sukrasarya immediately uttered the sanjiwini spell and revived the young man. Instantly Kacha lived and faced his teacher with a smile. Dewayani asked why he came home late. Kacha said he was suddenly attacked and killed by giants while grazing cattle. But how he came back to life and was before them he could not explain it.
On another occasion, kacha went to the forest, looking for flowers for Dewayani. Once again the giants ambushed and killed him. He was beaten to pieces and his body dumped into the sea. Because the kacha in the long wait did not appear, as before Dewayani facing his father. Mahaguru sukrasarya once again turned on kacha with sanjiwini and asked what really happened.
On the third occasion, the giants killed the kachas. They cleverly burned the corpse of the kacha and mixed its ashes into the wine they offered to the mahaguru sukra. Sukra was not suspicious at all. Once again, their cattle returned to the stable without their shepherds. And once again, Dewayani sobbed to face her father.
In vain attempts of mahaguru sukra to comfort his son. "Although I have repeatedly turned on kacha," said sukra, "it seems that the giants are determined to kill him. My son, death is common. It's inappropriate for a big-spirited person like you to cry out at his death. Live your life which is endowed with the blessings of ease, beauty, and generosity of the world."
Devayani loves kacha. Thus from the very beginning of the world, the advice of the wisest will never be able to take away the grief of a woman who has lost a lover. Dewayani said, "kacha the grandson of rishi angiras and the son of rishi brihaspati was an innocent young man. He has given himself up to serve us. Servant loves her as deeply as the heart of her servant. Now he's dead. Life feels empty and sad. Therefore let the servant follow her die." After saying so, Dewayani refused to eat and drink.
Vaisampayana continued: the holy and sublime sukrasarya rishis became enraged at being deceived by the offering of wine. And for the good of mankind he said:
"People will lose their nobility if they drink wine unwisely. Such a man will be cursed. Thus my message and this message will be written in the scriptures as a prohibition that cannot be broken."
After saying so, mahaguru sukra turned to Dewayani. He said: "my daughter, now you have to choose. If you want kacha to come back to life, he has to come out of my stomach and that means death to me. He can only live with my death."
Dewayani began to cry and said: "Oh, God, if so I'd rather just die. Because if one of you dies, I won't be able to live this life."
While searching for a way to solve this strange problem, the sukra master realizes what is really happening. He said to Kacha: "o, son of brihaspati, now I know what your true intention is to come to me. You'll get what you want. By Dewayani I bring you to life and by him I must not die. The only way is to teach you sanjiwini so that you can revive me after my body is destroyed, for removing you from my stomach." Thus, mahaguru sukra gave the secret of sanjiwini to kacha.
At once, kacha came out of the belly of the mahaguru sukra, like a moon sticking out from behind a mega-mega. Meanwhile, the master collapsed with his body scattered and died.
Kacha kept his promise. He immediately revived his teacher with the knowledge he obtained. Kacha bowed down before his teacher and said: "the teacher who imparts wisdom to a fool is a father. Moreover, since the servant comes out of the body of the teacher, the teacher is also the mother of the servant."
Over the next few years, kacha twrus became a pupil of the sukra mahaguru. When the time period of his vow was over, he begged his teacher and returned to the world of the Gods. When it was time to leave, Dewayani reverently said: "O rishi grandson of Angiras, you have captivated my heart with purity of heart, your progress in the pursuit of your knowledge and noble origins. For a long time I have loved you with all my soul, even though you have sworn to live your life as a brahmacarin. You must repay my love and make me happy by marrying me. Your father, your own rishi brihaspati, deserves my respect."
At that time, it was not unusual for a wise and learned brahmin princess to express their thoughts with honorable honesty. But Kacha answered: "o holy daughter, you are my great daughter and I honor you. I came back to life after I came out of your father's body. Therefore, now I am your brother one father. Sister, it is not proper for you to ask me to marry you."
In vain Dewayani persuaded kacha." You're the son of the sage brihaspati that I respect, " said Dewayani, "and not my father's son. I'm the one who made you come back to life, because I love you and want you to be my husband. You should not leave this innocent me and want to perpetuate yourself."
Kacha replied: "don't persuade me to do anything that's not right. You are a beautiful princess and increasingly look beautiful in a state of anger like now. But I am your brother. Let me go. Abdilah my teacher mahaguru sukra with the best." After saying so, kacha gently broke away from the hold of Dewayani and returned to the divine world.
Dewayani was very sad and mahaguru sukra tried hard to comfort him.
