Athar stopped his car right in front of the door of Kenanga's parents' home, hastily getting out of his car.
Athar pressed the bell button several times but did not answer at all. Athar looked back at his phone that was still connecting with Kenanga's phone call.
"Hello, Kenanga?? Answer me please" Athar's voice was made to panic when Kenanga did not answer the call at all.
Athar tries to push the door handle and turns out not in the lock. Without waiting for a long time Athar opened the door, but unfortunately the door could not be opened wide and was blocked by something. Slowly Athar tried to enter from the door gap is quite narrow, until finally Athar managed to enter and was so surprised to find Kenanga rolled behind the door, the door cannot be opened wide.
"Yet? Kenanga woke up" Athar grabbed Kenanga's head and patted her cheek slowly hoping she would open her eyes, but Kenanga never opened her eyes to require Athar to hold Kenanga and lift her up and bring her into the room Kenanga located next to the living room.
Slowly Athar put Kenanga on the bed, only after that Athar ran out of the house to retrieve his medical equipment stored in the car. It didn't take long for Athar to go back into Kenanga's room, and start checking Kenanga's condition. After feeling no one was worried, Athar removed the stethoscope from his earlobe and put it back in his bag, then Athar took out wind oil to apply under Kenanga's nose. But Athar was made to frown when he realized that Kenanga's eyes look moist even a few drops of tears that have not been dry are also seen wetting his cheeks.
"What exactly happened?" thomas Athar in his heart.
Kenanga opened her eyes when she smelled the scent of wind oil, but Kenanga did not dare to open her eyes and instead screamed hysterically.
"Go !! Don't go back !! I hate you" cried Kenanga hysterically
"Kenanga,Kenanga, relax. It's me Athar"
"Go !!! You're a liar" yelled Kenanga about to get out of bed with both eyes closed.
"Honey.." Athar's voice sounded very soft, both hands grabbed Kenanga's hand and held the woman down from the bed.
The warm touch of Athar's hand as well as Athar's gentle voice made Kenanga a little calm. After seeing Kenanga calm down a little Athar let go of Kenanga's hand slowly.
"Open your eyes. Look, it's me" Athar asked slowly, and was joined by Kenanga.
Slowly Kenanga gathered her courage and opened her eyes little by little, and it was true that the one currently before her was Athar. Not thinking long, Kenanga immediately hugged Athar tightly, as if the man's embrace really made Kenanga feel safe. Athar was a little surprised as Kenanga hugged him first even so tightly. But after a split second, Athar returned Kenanga's embrace, one hand slowly stroking Kenanga's hair gently. There were no hysterical cries from Kenanga, but Athar knew that at this time Kenanga was crying in her arms. I don't know what made the girl cry Athar didn't know, but for now Athar won't ask Kenanga, letting Kenanga calm herself down first.
"I-I'm ashamed" said Kenanga in between sobs of tears she held.
"I'm here, don't think about anything. Let me finish it" Athar kissed at the top of Kenanga's head, making Kenanga tighten her embrace of Athar.
Athar fell silent, trying to digest what Kenanga was talking about, what does that have to do with embarrassment?
"I-I'm scared" added Kenanga lirih
"I'll take care of you"
This time Athar's answer made Kenanga loosen her embrace, with tears held in her eyes, Kenanga ventured to look at Athar who was also staring at her.
"There I will take care of you, this time and so on" Athar slipped Kenanga's hair behind the girl's earlobes
Athar is silent, slowly Athar can guess what happened to Kenanga, maybe the girl experienced a fairly heavy past trauma, and it is likely that Kenanga has just met her past that she carved deeply into.
"Why silence?" Kenanga Jerk
"Darling.." replied Athar gently.
"I'll never do what he did to you. You can keep my promise. I promise in the name of my God and Mama" Athar said
There was no answer from Kenanga, but Athar's answer made Kenanga a little calm and re-hugged Athar.

After almost an hour of trying to calm the hysterical Kenanga, finally his efforts to bear fruit, Kenanga is now asleep in her sleep. But the two hands of the girl still hugged the body of Athar who is now sitting on the edge of the bed while busy giving a swab at Kenanga's head.
It's night, Athar can't stay here, in this house there's nobody but him and Kenanga. Slowly Athar tried to keep away the hand of Kenanga who was now holding tightly to his arm. But it has not been completely detached, Kenanga hugged Athar's hand tightly.
"Don't go" she fancied with both eyes still closed.
"Yin.. I have to go home" said Athar Lirih
"No way" it looks like Kenanga is still half conscious and has not slept fully
"But I have to go home, I can't..."
"You lied !!! You said you weren't going to leave ? won't leave me" this time Kenanga's eyes opened completely.
"Liar!!!" Jerk Kenanga while changing her sleeping position on her back to Athar.
Athar scratched his non-itchy head, took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. It is not that Athar does not want to stay and accompany Kenanga, but Athar is afraid that he cannot withstand the turmoil in him. But Athar was finally made to give up when Kenanga again sobbed crying under a thick blanket wrapped in his body.
"Don't cry anymore, I'm sorry" Athar laid his body right beside Kenanga, even giving a warm hug to Kenanga.
But Kenanga still did not want to answer Athar's words and chose to shut up and cry under a blanket that covered part of his body
"You still angry? I promise I'll always take care of you" Athar tightened his arms.
"You promise??" Kenanga changes her sleeping position, now Kenanga and Athar face each other.
Athar nodded his head steadily in response to Kenanga's question, but both eyes failed to focus when he saw Kenanga's lips in Athar's eyes. Athar tried to control himself even though the air in Kenanga's room felt hot on his body. Kenanga, unaware of Athar's change in expression, drowned her face in the chest of the man's field again, hugging him tightly as if Athar's embrace was very comfortable and safe for her. While Athar is currently fighting with a wild mind that fills almost his entire brain.
