#176 - Abduction

Nathan was having breakfast with his family. It did not feel like ten years had passed since a dark incident had struck his household with Sheila.

Now they live a quiet and peaceful life in the main house of the Avicenna family along with Lian and Roy. Since the incident that happened to Sheila first, Lian is more protective of her son and daughter-in-law.

Of course all the things Lian did were for the good of her son and daughter-in-law as well as her granddaughter. Kenny Giga Avicenna is 12 years old. The little man goes down the nature of his father who tends to be closed to others.

"Darling, eat your breakfast and go to school" Sheila said with a smile.

Giga just nodded obediently. The small man in glasses was preoccupied with learning many things including business. Whether since when, Nathan felt that Karel was trying to get to Giga in any way. And as a father who will bequeath his business to Giga, of course Nathan must train Giga to be ready to be heir in the future.

"Today you have a schedule to study with Uncle Harvey. Remember that!" nathan reminded me.

Again Giga just nodded obediently.

"Master Su, don't be so hard on him. He's still a kid. Let him play with his friends too." Sheila defends Giga.

Roy and Lian just kept quiet and didn't want to interfere. One side they support Nathan, one side also they support Sheila.

"It's okay, Mother. I'm glad I learned business." Finally Giga answered too.

Sheila sighed. "Yes already. But don't forget your school lessons. This Mother has made provisions for you. Eat during the break."

"Good, Mother." Giga got up from his seat and said goodbye to everyone who was there.

Sheila drove Giga into the car.

"Daaah baby!" Sheila waved her hand to let go of her only son.

Nathan is ready to go to the office.

"Darling, I'll go first!" pamit Nathan by peeping the top of Sheila's head.

"Yes, watch out Master Su!" The call is still attached to this day. Somehow Sheila really liked the call she made to Nathan.

In a different place, Merlin came out of the room neatly wearing his school uniform. He wanted to say goodbye to his father to go to school. Merlin was used to not eating breakfast because his father rarely prepared breakfast. But this time it felt different.

Merlin stared at the small dining table that provided food of various types.

"What is this, sir?" ask Merlin.

"Let's have breakfast, son. You'll have to go to school and use your brain, so before you leave you'll have to have breakfast."

Merlin frowned confusedly. "Where did you get the money to buy breakfast?"

"Already! Don't ask too many questions! You have a little money, let's eat!"

"Is this money halal?" ask Merlin again.

"Merlina! You did all this for you! Don't ask too many questions! Let's eat!"

Merlin snorted in annoyance with his father who always did his best. He was forced to eat some of the food his father had prepared.

After Merlin left for school, Drajat, Merlin's father immediately prepared to do the action. Last night his friend came to him for a mission.

"Kidnap this kid! And you'll get a lot of money. You can live quietly after this!"

That sentence still rings in Drajat's brain. He must be able to get out of the trap of poverty that has been shackling. He had to raise his daughter alone without a wife beside him.

"Merlin's mom, believe me! I will take good care of our daughter" Drajat said, looking at a picture of his late wife.

"Please bless my path even if this is not a good thing" he continued, then out of the house.

Arriving at an elite school complex, Drajat and his colleagues are sneaking in front of the gate. Drajat hesitated if he had to do this especially in broad daylight like today.

"You're sure we can do it? We can't even touch that school yard. How can we do our thing?" ask Drajat to his partner.

His partner whispered something into Drajat's ear. Drajat's eyes are breaking.

"Is that so? You sure we made it?" ask Drajat again still doubtful. He remembered the words of his daughter who wanted him not to get involved with evil again.

"Hey! Even daydreaming! Hurry hurry! School will soon be out!"

Drajat just nodded obediently.

"I'm sorry, Merlin. You are doing this for our lives" Drajat said in his heart.

By establishing his heart first, Drajat hugged his friend's motorcycle and waited at the agreed place earlier. The two of them will block the car from their abduction target this time.

There was a stir in the main house of the Avicenna family when Agus reported that Giga had just been kidnapped. Two motorcyclists stopped the car and threatened it with guns.

Agus who alone can do nothing. Plus they also took the middle-aged man's cell phone.

Sheila could only cry bitterly when again their family was in the midst of trials after a long life of calm.

"You just calm down! I will definitely find our son!" nathan convinced Sheila.

Roy also did not want to stay silent. He immediately mobilizes his men to track down Giga's whereabouts. He'll show you what it's like to touch the Avicenna family.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Karel met his mother who had just returned from the office. His face showed an anger drawn there.

"Carel? Honey, you're not asleep, son? How was school today?" mira asked when she met Karel.

"I heard that Giga was kidnapped."

"What?!" Mira's surprised. "Where did you hear that, son?"

"Just know. Why are you just acting so ordinary?" Karel tried to investigate.

"Then how should mom? Mama believes Nathan and his men can find Giga. You just calm down, son." Mira continued her steps towards the room.

"It's not what mom did, is it?"

Karel's question made Mira turn around. The woman looked at her son.

"What are you talking about, son? How could you do such a cheap thing. Aye right?"

"Eitherway. All I know is that my mom was too obsessed with defeating Om Nathan. Mama wants to take over Avicenna Group," circus Karel.

"Carel!" Mira raised her voice. "How dare you say that! Mama really doesn't know who kidnapped Giga. Why are you corrupting mama?" Mira felt her heart ache when her only son gave her such sarcastic statement.

"Don't overdo it! I'm just asking. If not my mom already. I'm going to my room. Good night!"

Karel turned around and left Mira.

"Mama did all this for you, son."

Karel's steps stopped again. "Although mama did all this for me, but I hope you're not acting out of line." Karel continued in his footsteps.

Mira held onto her chest which felt tight. He decided to go into his room to rest. Mira sat on the edge of the bed.

"Mama hope one day you'll understand, Karel. If what you do is for you. Only you!" muttered Mira by looking at the photo of Karel in her room.

Merlin was so shocked when his father came home with a boy who looked his age. The glasses boy did not look careless.

Merlin boldly asked his father.

"Mr! Who's that geeky little boy?" merlin asked a little fiercely.

"Son, don't be angry. He is our gold mine" Drajat replied casually.

"Gold mines? Just be right! What are you gonna do with him?"

"We're not going to do anything to him. Just wait for news from your friend. And as long as we wait we have to take the geeky boy."

Merlin patted his eel. "God! You kidnapped her?!"

"Ssttt! Don't! If he heard how? Nevermind! You have to help dad. Once we get the money, we'll get out of here. You understand?!"

Merlin returned to his room and saw the boy already asleep in his bed. Merlin ruffled his hair.

"Why should he sleep in my room?"

Merlin approached Giga who was sleeping. He noticed Giga's appearance.

"From his school uniform, he's not an ordinary student. This is an elite school uniform. Is he a rich man?" merlin muttered.
