#185 - Past Trauma

Merlin knocked on the door of Nathan Avicenna's room in dismay. It seemed like he knew what his big boss was going to talk about.

Merlin regulated his breathing when he got a speech from within. With a polite walk and a slight bow, Merlin paid his respects to Nathan.

"Sit down!" nathan's Word.

Merlin nodded and sat face to face on the sofa.

"You've been my son's assistant for almost a month. Are there any obstacles you're facing while working for him?"

"Eh? What kind of obstacle does Mister mean?"

Nathan seems to be holding something in him. "I know you're not a famous university graduate. And you also only got mediocre grades. But now, I trust you to take care of my son."

An old woman scanned Merlin's appearance.

"You who?" ask the old woman.

"I'm Mr. Giga's personal assistant. My name is Merlinda."

The old woman nodded in understanding. "Just enter and then go upstairs and turn right."

"Thank you, Grandma. Duh, grandma is very diligent huh. In old age this is still working. Isn't the host here so outrageous as to let the old lady work so hard? Okay, Grandma. Happy working yes! I'll go upstairs first! Excuse me!"

Slowly Merlin opened the door handle and looked at Giga's spacious room.

"Waaah! The room is very nice." For a moment Merlin scanned the spacious room.

There is a work desk and also a bookcase. Nearby there is a closet containing Giga's collection of action figures from his favorite hero figures.

"Wow! Rich people are different! The model collection!" merlin muttered.

He saw a television bedmsar with gaming equipment there. It seems like Giga likes to play games.

Merlin's eyes finally fell on the figure who was still asleep on the bed.

"God! It's noon but he's still asleep." Merlin bobbing head.

Merlin shook Giga's body. "Master, wake! We need to get to the office. Master!"

Merlin tries to pull over the blanket that covers Giga's body.

"Master, wake! How can you still fall asleep at this hour?"

Merlin pulled Giga's body to wake up and open his eyes.

"Geez! Who the hell? It's still early and noisy!" Giga opened his eyes and regained consciousness.

"It's noon, sir! You need to get up and get ready to go to the office."

"Hey, you! How did you get into my room?" giggled while realizing Merlin's presence.

"From today on I'll make you come in time to the office. Get up and get ready! Don't let me do anything else to you, sir."

Giga who was furious with Merlin's attitude finally asked the girl to wait outside her room.

Merlin decided to just sit in the living room while waiting for Giga to finish preparing. He kept glancing at the clock on his wrist. He had to successfully bring Giga to the office before nine in the morning.

"Miss, this is aunt bringing tea for Miss." A servant approached Merlin and gave him a cup of tea.

"Ah, thank you. I'm so troublesome" said Merlin politely.

"No hassle, Miss. Introduce me Odah."

"Oh, I'm Merlinda, Bi."

"Is Miss Giga's new assistant?" ask Odah curiously.

"Yes, Bi. I'm the new assistant."

Odah looked to see Merlin's appearance.

"May Miss is Mr. Giga's last assistant. He changed assistants several times for trivial reasons. Miss must be in trouble because of Mr. Giga yes. Please forgive him, Nope."

Merlin tried to touch his smile. "Even the waiter here cares about her a lot" Merlin said.

"I've known Mr. Giga since he was a child. He used to not behave like this. But, since the incident 15 years ago .. he's started to change."

"If he doesn't know, isn't it a problem? Why do you have to be dizzy?" resti said casually. His words have a point too.

"I can't be selfish, Res. I'm sure he's suffered for a few years."

Merlin seemed to think for a moment. "I'll make amends for all my past mistakes. I'm gonna fix everything. I will help her to get out of her trauma!" merlin's determination.
