#186 - Don't Leave Me

Merlin walked gontai towards Giga's room. This morning he felt less excited after knowing the truth about Giga.

Merlin stared at the large picture frame attached to the living room. He just realized it. It was a photo of Giga as a child together with his parents. Merlin was very familiar with the figure of the boy who was there. He is Giga. A geeky boy who was once the victim of his father's kidnapping.

Merlin gave a rough breath. In his heart he kept muttering.

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me..."

Merlin stepped back until he arrived in front of Giga's room. He sighed before knocking on the door of Giga's room.

His hand raised meant he was going to knock on the door. But it turned out that the door was open and showed the figure of Giga there.

"What are you doing? Do you want to hit me?" Giga glared while half a sewot.

Merlin immediately lowered his hand. "No, Mister. I just..."

"Huh, stop! Let's leave! Aren't you afraid that my father would fire you?" Giga walked past Merlin's body.

Merlin stared at the man who was behind him.

"I'm sorry, sir. I promise I'll make up for all my mistakes to you." Merlin is back. Then he followed Giga's steps.

On the way to the office, no one spoke. They are busy with their own thoughts. Until finally...

"What's my schedule today?" Giga finally made a sound even though his hands and eyes were staring at the screen of his phone.

"Hey, Merlinda. I'm talking to you!" Giga's voice began to pop Merlin and the driver's ears.

"Eh? Sorry, Mister. Can I help you?" Merlin answered nervously.

"Well! You're this! You don't seem to like your job. You're daydreaming too much!"

"N-no, Sir. Again I'm sorry."

"That's it. Forgetit! Quickly read my schedule today."

Merlin immediately opened his notebook. He read all the details he had recorded neatly.

"Hmm, so I have to see Brother Aurel at lunchtime?" Giga rubbed his chin.

"Yes, Sir. Miss Aurel called and asked me to arrange a schedule to meet Mr."

"At the hospital?"

"Yes, Sir."

Giga took a deep breath. "Do you know I don't like crowds?"

Merlin fell silent. He still did not understand the attitude of Giga who always closed himself.

"Is this because of her past trauma?" inner Merlin.

Arriving at Avicenna Hospital, Giga and Merlin walk to Aurel's room on the third floor. Avicenna Hospital is now taken over by Aurel after Boy decided to retire as doctor and hospital leader.

Giga walked straight to Aurel's room. Merlin swiftly stood behind Giga as the man continued to feel wary. I don't know what the man really felt.

Giga knocked on the door of Aurel's room who was the chief director of Avicenna hospital. Aurel who already knew Giga's arrival immediately welcomed his cousin's sister.

"You've come. Come inside!" Aurel invites Giga in with Merlin.

Aurel pointed at the sofa in her room. "We'll just talk here."

"So what brother asked me to come here. Tumben once!" Giga looked around Aurel's room.

"Of course because I have something to talk to you about. It's about..." Aurel paused his sentence. He glanced at Merlin and then looked at Giga. It seemed that Aurel's eyes had already been instantly read by Giga.

"Merlinda, you wait outside. I need to talk to Brother Aurel."

Merlin nodded obediently then said goodbye. He had to wait outside the room.

"What the hell is it, brother? It seems mysterious." Giga was impatient with what Aurel would say.

"I just saw your new assistant. Is he trustworthy?" Aurel asked by looking at the door.

"Eitherway. I also thought that he was a spy paid for by Karel."

"Well! I guessed! Karel and his mother wouldn't have come back here if they didn't have big plans."

"What does brother mean?"

Giga was a little annoyed by Aurel's words. "Where do you know?"

"You're always losing starts with Karel. That's why I asked you to come here. I have a good idea that will be approved by shareholders and investors. You're gonna beat Karel in this."

Giga frowned confusedly.

"You remember the Village Blanket?"

Giga nodded unconvinced. "I remember it was a remote village that wasn't even detected by the maps app."

"Fright! That's where you're gonna start your project. When my father was young, he managed to build a hospital in the village. I'm sure it's a good idea to beat Karel and his mother. This is! I've done some research there." Aurel showed several sheets of paper in front of Giga.

"School building?" muttered Giga.

"Yes. You'll build an educational facility there. I'm sure this idea is well-liked by investors. It is still so integrated with nature even today. I'm pretty sure you can do it."

Giga. "But, wouldn't it be hard to get his permission?"

"No! The approach to the villagers is the main one. We built a hospital there. It doesn't rule out if they can accept this idea of yours." Aurel looked at Giga with confidence.

"Ah, Brother! I don't know! This isn't my idea anyway. This is an idea from my sister. How can I use it?"

Aurel hits Giga's arm. "Bad boy! Don't you want to beat Karel? Only 1 time!"

Giga was silent. He thought of every word Aurel had said just now. There was no answer, suddenly the intercom in Aurel's room sounded. A call to Aurel because there are patients who must be treated immediately.

"I go first, Ga. There was an emergency. Just think about it all again. But I wish you could take this advice from me." Aurel passed from his room leaving Giga still unmoved with a thought that was somehow drifting away.

In a situation that left her confused, Giga got used to talking to Sheila, her mother. Giga immediately contacted Sheila with a video call.

Giga told her all the ideas Aurel had told her earlier. Sheila agrees with Aurel's idea. Sheila even asked Giga to look for a good concept for the development of the idea from Aurel.

Sheila believes Giga is a pretty smart kid. It's just that many trigger Giga to become a slacker.

Giga ended the call after feeling confident about what he was going to take. Giga tidied up her appearance and walked out of Aurel's room.

But when Giga opened the door, he did not find Merlin in front of Aurel's room. Giga's eyes scanned for Merlin's whereabouts.

"Merlinda! Where're you?" exclaimed Giga started to sweat coldly.

"Merlinda!" Giga's face began to panic. His hands trembled feeling the crowd that was happening in the hospital.

Although in front of Aurel's room there was no one, but it even made Giga more panicked.

"Merlinda! Where're you?" exclaiming Giga who did not get the authorization from anyone. Giga walked slowly towards the elevator.

Meanwhile, Merlin turns back to the parking lot where there is Heri, the driver there. Merlin's arrival made Heri frown.

"Miss, what are you doing here? Where's Mr Giga?" Heri asked in a wry manner.

"Mr Giga is still in Miss Aurel's room. Why why?" Merlin looked relaxed. He even felt that Giga had gone too far for telling him to wait in front of the room.

"Miss, do you know, Mr. Giga has a psychic disorder with a crowd. We have to go to see him." Heri immediately ran.

"Well! Geez! What else is this?" Lazily Merlin walked in Heri's footsteps.

Merlin is stunned to remember that Giga has a trauma from her past. As fast as lightning Merlin ran and headed to Aurel's room. But he didn't find Giga there.

"Where is he?" Merlin muttered then ran back down the hospital hallways while sharpening his eyesight.

Merlin returned to the lower floor and guessed who knew Giga was down. Among the crowd of people passing by, Merlin saw the figure of Giga who was curled up in fear by hugging both knees.

"Mr Giga!" Merlin walked over quickly to the man.

"Master! You okay?" Merlin's voice made Giga look up.

Giga reflexively hugged Merlin. The girl was surprised by the sudden action of Giga.

"Sir.." - Merlin.

"Don't leave me! Don't leave me!" Giga muttered with an already trembling body.

Merlin could feel how much trauma Giga had felt. His hand then stretched out and rubbed Giga's back in a gentle motion. Trying to calm down the man who was still stirring.
