Chapter 25: Alvaro's Decision

"Gavin!" flora exclaimed as she entered her son's treatment room. He was grateful that his son was in good condition. He hugged Gavin tightly letting go of his worries.

Although Gavin's condition was still weak with a blood transfusion and transfusion hose attached to his hand and head that had been wrapped in bandages, Flora remained grateful her son was still given safety.

"Papa .." call Gavin.

Flora was a bit disappointed her son actually mentioned other than herself. He was jealous, but his son wanted to be closer to Alvaro.

"Papa" called Gavin again, extending his hand.

Alvaro approached, grabbed the small hand and kissed it. "Yes, Honey. Papa's here," he said.

"Well, Mama heard it for herself, right? Gavin can keep calling Papa. Gavin is not wrong" said Gavin complaining to his mother.

Flora smile. "Yes, Honey. He is your Papa. You can call him Papa" he said, giving in.

He no longer wants to be selfish about himself. Moreover, Gavin's desire is indeed to meet his biological father.

"Gavin, Doctor wants to talk to you for a second, with Mama and Gavin's Dad. Can you?" ask the doctor who is still in the room.

"You were here first, honey. Mama's coming back" said Flora.

He and Alvaro follow the doctor to a separate room with Gavin's treatment room. The doctor's face looks serious, like he wants to convey something important to them.

"It's about the condition of the son ... You guys?" ask the doctor to make sure.

"Yes, Doc. He is our son" said Alvaro quickly replied.

"The disease suffered by Gavin must be treated immediately. If left unchecked, for a long time can weaken his physical condition. Not only about how dangerous the disease is, but if his endurance is weakened, he will be more susceptible to various diseases. That can lead to complications" the doctor said.

"Mother Flora, I've warned before if Gavin should not get hurt, so I used to recommend home schooling only. Because a child of his age is active and we can't predict what will happen" continued the doctor.

Flora. He felt guilty to decide to keep sending Gavin. Because he thinks Gavin would rather go to school than stay at home. During this time Gavin was also very obedient to school well.

Alvaro loosened the winding of the tie coiled around his neck. Today felt so exhausting. He decided to return home, leaving Gavin and Flora in the hospital in the early hours of the morning. There is business that he must finish first.

"Darling, you're finally home!" prilly is excited to see Alvaro's return.

"What do you do when they fight?" asked Alvaro in a cold tone.
