Chapter 30: Straightening the Problem

Alvaro stared intently at Prilly. He was convinced that the woman had made his mother come to the hospital with anger. He kept Flora in his arms, not letting her face his mother and ex-wife.

"You have absolutely no shame in hugging that woman in front of us, Alvaro! Mama doesn't think about you!" Madam Suhay still looks upset with her son's behavior.

"Sorry, Ma. For the first time, I want to do what I really want. Flora is the only woman I love" Alvaro said firmly.

In the past, he was too cowardly to make his own decisions. Now, he doesn't want to do the same thing anymore. His life feels hopeless after releasing Flora for the sake of his family's ideals.

"What's? You dare say that in front of your own son?" Madam Suhay increasingly distrusted the behavior of her son.

Leon looked grim. He could only hug Prilly while looking at Alvaro.

"My biological son is inside, Ma. He's not my son" Alvaro said with a faint look.

He didn't want to hurt Leon's feelings. However, he also does not want Flora and Gavin continue to be blamed for his actions.

"What?" Madam Suhay instantly trembled at her son's words. There's no way Alvaro could just talk.

"If you want a clearer story, just ask Prilly directly. He knows better. If she still wants to deny it, Mama can go see my lawyer. He knows everything" Alvaro said, looking back at Prilly with hate.

He really would not let go of the woman just like that if he continued to do things that irritated him.

Prilly can only sculpt. He did not expect that their conversation would get there. He only hopes that his former mother-in-law will be able to stay with Alvaro.

"Prilly, is there something you're not telling me?" urged Madam Suhay. He stared intently at Prilly hoping to get the facts.

"Ma, does Mama want to have a daughter-in-law whose origins are not as clear as her? Mama's not afraid the family's reputation will be ruined? She is not a true woman ... Have children without marriage" said Prilly. He panicked to defend himself.

"I was the one who used to impregnate her, Ma!" sahut Alvaro is without shame anymore. Prilly's getting left all the more alone.

"Sir, no, don't go on, it's a shame!" whispered Flora. He wanted to leave, but Alvaro hugged him tightly. It was not good to hear that conversation.

"Alvaro, you ...." Madam Suhay increasingly did not understand the behavior of her son. He almost died standing up to hear it.

"Sorry, Ma. I just said it. I also recently learned that I already have a child. And as I said before, Leon is not my real son!" Alvaro.

"There's evidence of DNA test results, all held by my lawyer. Mama checks herself if she doesn't listen to me" Alvaro added.

"Ma, the DNA test could've been engineered." Prilly still hoped that Madame Suhay would believe her words.

"How dare you doubt the results of a DNA test, Prilly! You can be sued by the hospital for your actions!" Alvaro.

"Sir, stop, stop! I'm going back inside!" persuade Flora with her soft voice. He was really uncomfortable being there, even though Alvaro was clearly defending him.

"Yes, Ma. I don't want to continue this mess. Inside my son is sick and needs more attention than this" Alvaro said.

He brought Flora back into the room. He ordered his two men to return to guard and forbade any intruders from entering.

"Mama," whined Gavin worried.

Flora tried to smile and hug her son. He no longer cared about the pain he had left in his cheek.

"Mama, is Mama okay?" gavin asked with a look of worry.

"Of course, honey. Mama is fine. Don't think about that, yeah! It was just a misunderstanding," said Flora soothingly.

Alvaro looked to sigh. He felt so guilty for causing such an unpleasant event for them.

"Flora, I'm sorry" said Alvaro.

"You better solve your problems before you get back to us" Flora said. He was disappointed with the treatment received.

Being a wife of a rich family man is not easy especially no blessing from the family. If it wasn't for Gavin's sake, she probably wouldn't have chosen Alvaro as her husband either.
