Chapters 1. Money

Linda lowered her head even more in fear of seeing the anger of Erik, her husband. Almost one clear grain escaped from the corner of his eye. But Linda managed to hold it in because she realized her tears would not make Erik's anger subside, quite the opposite.

"Just leave it so hard anyway?!" snapped Erik. "You came to my mother's house and said that you came to ask for money. You will be given to your mother's father!" erik continued without thinking before speaking.

"But Mas, I'm embarrassed that everyone would pay the car installments must borrow money from his mother" Linda replied with a face that continued to look down.

Linda could not speak anymore. Almost every month he comes to his parents' house to borrow money, but Erik does not want to consider it a loan. He considers the money from Linda's parents to be a gift so there is no need to return it.

Today Erik was supposed to pay the car. But Erik's money wasn't enough, there wasn't even half of it yet. Then she told Linda to ask her parents like the previous months.

Linda gasped at Erik's scream. He stood up and grabbed his bag and key.

"I'll go first Mas" said Linda nervously.

Erik did not reply, even looking at Linda did not.

Riding a motorbike butut gave her parents, Linda set off. Her tears did not stop dripping along the way. Since then he could only hold it back for fear that Erik would get even more angry if he saw her cry.

It didn't feel like Linda was almost at her parents' house. Linda stopped the bike. He wiped his tears and looked in the rearview mirror. Linda could not hide her still red eyes. But he had no choice, inevitably he wanted him to have to meet his parents.

If Linda didn't get the money from her parents, Erik would have told her to look for a loan. I don't know who's important Linda has to earn money today.

Linda just nodded her head. Although the money is not enough, Linda really appreciates it. She could barely make a sound for fear of crying in front of her mother. She had tried hard to hide what was happening inside her household but her mother could always figure it out.

"If your father knew how Erik behaved to you, he would have regretted accepting Erik's proposal at that time" said Bu Yanto accompanied by *******delight. He remembered that time Erik's parents came to propose to Linda who was still young. Without thinking, Mr. Yanto immediately accepted it because Erik came from a distinguished family.

"I love Mas Erik Bu, it's not my fault." Linda refutes. Erik was the first man in Linda's life. The beautiful atmosphere makes Linda instantly fall in love when she first sees it. And after that he was like he was dead in love with Erik. No matter how Erik behaves to her, Linda will still defend her husband.

"It ... There's home! Your father will come home from the fields." Linda has come several times to borrow money, sometimes with the knowledge of her father sometimes secretly.

"I'll give it back later if I have money" Linda said, looking down. Linda felt bad for constantly bothering her mother. Though her parents only worked in the rice fields, the money was supposed to be a stash for their old days but Linda actually wore it.

Linda returned from her parents' home. His heart was pounding for not being able to bring the amount of money that Erik asked for.

She timidly took the money from her bag and gave it to Erik. "This is the money."

"Thank you dear, you are indeed a reliable wife," Erik replied with a radiant face. Erik then counted the money Linda gave him.

"One million?!" Erik's face changed drastically.

"That's all the money you have" Linda replied with a frightened face.

"Heh ... stupid!!!" Erik pushed Linda's head with his index finger. "You know what three million month car installments are?!! I only have one million, which is less than two million!!! Here you bring a million for what?!!" Erik threw the money at me. He kept glaring at Linda. His suppressed tone made Linda very frightened.

"Here, give me your bag!!!" Erik then snatched the bag from Linda's hand violently. "Don't you hide the rest in your bag!!!"

Erik paid no heed to Linda who was trembling in fear. He ransacked the contents of Linda's bag and dropped all the contents onto the table. But Erik didn't find any money there. Erik looks very upset and throws the bag right into Risma's face.

Linda could no longer hold back her tears. He was already trying to earn money for Erik but Erik did not appreciate it at all.

"You think by crying the problem is over?! Sana quickly find a loan to cover the shortcomings!" snarled Erik again. Linda quickly wiped away her tears.

"Borrow where else? The loan to mbak Sari two months ago has not been returned. I don't dare borrow any more" Linda replied.

"Well, whatever you are! What matters is that you get a million! Anyway today should be able to!!!"

Erik put on his shoes and tidied up his clothes. "I want to catch a passenger. By the time I get home the money should be there!" tell Erik lightly.

Linda was back crying after Erik's departure. He doesn't know what else to do. Her household with Erik at the moment made her tormented but she also did not want to part because she loved him so much.
