Today is Aruna's birthday. Linda will go to the city to buy sewing and buy birthday cake for Aruna. Never once had Aruna bought a birthday cake, let alone get a gift.
Now Linda has a little savings because Erik has never asked for money to pay for car installments. With that money Linda plans to buy Aruna a birthday cake and also a gift.
Previously Linda had told Mbak Sari and her parents that later tonight they came to the house to surprise Aruna. Linda wants Aruna to be as happy as the other children, without thinking about her parents' condition.
Early in the morning Linda had everything ready. Breakfast and cleaning the house he did. He has also told Aruna to go home to Sella if later home from school she has not reached home.
Right after Aruna left for school Linda also left for the city. Linda's paddling her bike.
Along the way Linda smiles imagining how Aruna's face will get a surprise birthday cake that she hasn't had in her entire life.
After a journey of almost two hours, Linda finally reached the city. He went straight to his textile shop. Only then will he buy gifts and cakes for Aruna.
Finished from the textile shop, Linda headed straight for the clothing store. He wanted to buy Aruna some nice clothes. Linda was busy choosing clothes until it did not feel like it was almost twelve in the afternoon. Linda has to hurry so that later she will not be in the middle of the afternoon.
Linda took one piece of clothing and wanted to take it to the cashier.
"Linda?"
Linda looked over and heard a voice calling out to her.
"Eh ... Mr. Bima." Linda looked polite. He immediately remembered who the person standing before him was.
"Call Bima instead."
"Yes ... "
"Do you want to accompany me to lunch?" ask Bima without further ado.
"I'm sorry, I brought the provisions from home" Linda replied shamelessly. "I have to go home early because there's a family event at home tonight."
"Oh so. Actually I want to talk to you about something."
Linda frowned. He did not feel that there was anything to talk about with the new man.
"Speak what?"
"It's actually better over lunch, but since you don't have time, I'm talking here. I want to apologize because I thought you were ... " Bima hung up his sentence.
"You what?" Linda curious.
"I thought you were crazy at the time."
Linda laughed at Bima's words.
"Why are you laughing? I feel guilty after that incident and keep remembering you."
"I already know that. I'm aware of what I look like, so I don't turn you on if you think I'm crazy."
"I'm really sorry."
"No, it's okay. What matters is that I'm not crazy." Bima smiled at Linda's reply. "I'll excuse you. I have to pay this to the cashier." Linda showed me the clothes she had chosen for Aruna.
"No need to pay, just think of it as my apology."
"No need .. thanks. I still have to pay. This is a gift for my son so I want to buy him with my money."
"Oh ... I see." Bima appreciates Linda's wishes. "May I have your phone number?"
"Make what?"
"I can tell you if there is a discount in my shop," replied Bima origin. Bima does not know why, but there is a curiosity and want to know more about this new woman.
"Yes, that's right." Which women are not tempted by discounts? Linda immediately wrote down the phone number on the paper given by Bima.
Bima accompanied Linda to the cashier and continued to invite her to talk to attract the attention of her employees.
"So you took me out to eat because you felt guilty?" ask Linda.
Linda was touched to hear Bima's answer. Just that kind of trouble she felt guilty and wanted to apologize. Linda is a nobody. As for Erik, her husband had a lot of painful things that he did but not even once he apologized.
Linda smiled. "I forgive you."
"Thank you."
"I have to go home now." Linda throws a smile and is greeted with a smile by Bima.
Suddenly Linda's hand was pulled violently by someone.
"What are you doing here? Who's she?!"
"Mas Erik?" Linda's face immediately turned deathly pale. Erik must have misunderstood him again.
Linda did not expect Erik would suddenly appear beside her.
"My answer!!! what are you doing with that guy?!!"
"I didn't do anything. I just bought Aruna a dress." Linda showed me the bag containing the clothes she had just bought.
"I'm sorry, you were wrong ... " Bima tried to explain.
"Shut up!!! This is my business with my wife!" Erik dragged Linda out of the store. He looks very angry.
"Mas, this isn't what rigidly thinks." Linda tried to explain. "I don't know that man."
Erik did not answer. He threw Linda's body into the car and took her straight home.
"Erk ... Wait ... !!!" Erik even forgot that he had come with Diana.
Erik drove his car at such a high speed that it didn't take long for them to get home.
"Who is that man?!!" Erik could no longer hold back his emotions.
"It's nobody, I don't know him." Linda was trembling in fear.
"really?!! I saw you guys talking so familiar?! You can even smile and laugh with him?!! Are you teasing her?!! I'm sure you've known that guy before!!!"
"We met twice, accidentally."
"Gat!!!"
Linda grimaced holding her cheek. Erik slapped him very hard.
"So you've made a deal with that man twice?!!"
"No ... Not like that ..." Linda's voice was stamped. Erik looked at him with a demonic look that was like he wanted to eat him alive.
*
Linda curled up while holding her head which felt very dizzy. Erik slapped several times, pushed and beat him. The sound of his phone constantly ringing made him finally stop.
Diana kept calling him. Only then did Erik realize that he had left Diana in the store earlier. Erik stops venting his anger at Linda and rushes off to pick Diana up.
It's late at night. Aruna is escorted home by Sella because her mother does not come to pick her up.
"You dare to be home alone?" sayup-sayup heard Sella's voice.
Linda immediately got up and tidied up her clothes. He forgets Aruna who is still at Sella's house.
Linda wanted to go out to greet Aruna, but when she saw her face in the mirror, she dropped her intentions. Eventually Linda just waited behind the door until Sella left. He did not want anyone to see his face covered in bruises like this.
"Runa dare Brother."
"Yes, Brother go home first."
"Thank you, brother."
