Linda has arrived in front of her parents' house. After yesterday he could not go home because he had to attend a fashion show, finally today he can set foot in his parents' house.
After that day Aruna did not call him. He also did not call asking why on Sunday he did not come home when usually Aruna is the most excited if the weekend. Either he asked to be picked up or asked to buy something. Linda thinks Aruna is angry because she didn't let her go with her father.
The long journey made Linda's body feel tired. Linda rested her body on the porch while waiting for her parents to come home. It's just at noon, time for his mom and dad to come home from the rice fields. While Aruna may not have come home from school because she was in third grade, she came home a little later.
Linda enjoys the breeze on the porch of her parents' house until she finally falls asleep. The house is still beautiful surrounded by shady trees making the atmosphere of the house feel cool. Linda is exhausted because in addition to her busy college schedule she also lacks sleep working on designs for fashion shows.
"Lin, get up." Bu Yanto's soft voice woke Linda.
Linda blinked her eyes. "Mommy's home yet? Where's Father?" Linda is looking for her father.
"Your father is still in the fields. Maybe we'll be here soon. You've been since? Why don't you catch up with mom in the rice field to get the house keys?"
Linda looked at the clock on her phone. At least he had been asleep for fifteen minutes. "It hasn't been long, Mom."
"Let's go in." Bu Yanto opened the door for Linda. "Yesterday Aruna was waiting for you to come home. Next time you can't go home, it's news. So your son is not waiting and disappointed."
"really?" Linda still thinks that Aruna is angry. "Then I had a sudden show. But why didn't Aruna call me?" Linda did not tell about the fashion show that she followed.
"He sat on the porch all day. He was invited to play with his friends also did not want, he said afraid that if you go home he is not at home. He thinks you're mad at him. What are you two having problems with?"
Linda felt guilty hearing her mother's explanation. He thought Aruna was angry at him and vice versa. Linda immediately went in to put her luggage down.
"I'm going to pick up Aruna. He's coming home at one o'clock, isn't he?"
"Yes, it's gone! It's almost one o'clock, he'll wait."
Linda nodded and immediately set off to pick up Aruna.

"It's Monday, don't you work?" Aruna asked as she sipped the ice fruit in front of her. The misunderstanding between them was resolved.
"Yes, I'm taking a leave of absence. So for the next four days mom will accompany Runa."
"Mother seriously?" Aruna did not believe it. For two years, her mother was busy with her work. I can only go home on Sunday.
Linda nodded convincingly.
"Yeah .... !!! Aruna cheered in excitement. "Let's play to Tika's sister's house ya Bu, same sister Sella too. It's been a long time that Runa hasn't played with Sella's sister."
Linda nodded in agreement with Aruna's wishes. Linda would think a thousand times to deliver Aruna to the house of Sella considering the house of Erik and Sella very close. If Linda gets there, it's very likely that she'll meet Erik.
"Nake?"
"Yes, it's been a long time since Runa bought fruit ice with mom."
Linda and Aruna sit in long chairs enjoying the fruit ice from the vendor by the roadside. Previously Aruna invited Linda to buy snacks first before going home and ending up enjoying ice fruit.
"Dad said what to Runa?" Linda started a serious conversation.
"Dad apologized for being evil all this time and did not pay attention to Runa. Dad said I was sorry."
It was hard to believe what Aruna said. Is it possible that Erik could regret what he has done?
"Runa believes dad's words?"
Aruna was silent for a moment.
"If grandpa was the same grandma how? Do they believe your father has changed?"
Aruna lifted her shoulders. "Not knowing."
Then both are silent. So many questions came to Linda's mind. Where's he been all this time? Why suddenly appear in their lives? Has he really changed?
"Why are you silent? Is Mom angry?"
"No, why should you be angry?"
"Runa won't talk about dad again if it makes you sad." Aruna looked down not daring to look at her mother. There was fear on Aruna's face that made Linda feel guilty.
Linda knew her son wanted to be with his father. But she still did not willing Aruna to be close to her father even though it sounded selfish.
Erik hasn't really changed. Who knew this was just some subterfuge he had made to be able to trick Linda's family. For now it is better that Linda be careful and not directly allow Aruna to be close to her father.
"Did Runa really want to be with dad?"
Aruna lowered her head even more as she could not answer. He wants to be with his father but is afraid of his mother.
"If you don't allow it, it's okay. Runa won't be going with my father if I'm not mad at Runa."
Linda felt more and more guilty hearing Aruna's answer. He was only ten years old but his way of thinking was already not like a child his age.
"Mother won't be angry with Runa. How could a mother possibly be angry with this only mother's child?" Linda grabbed Aruna's body into her arms. "We're going home now?" linda asked to switch the conversation. Aruna just nodded.
"Do you want to go somewhere first or do we go straight home?"
"Just go home Mom, pity Grandma's waiting."
"Oh .. Yes you're right." Linda steers her bike back to her parents' house.

Her night...
Aruna is asleep. This is a good time to be able to talk to both parents about Erik's arrival to their home.
It may sound more likely if Erik's visit to his parents' house makes Linda worried and think no-no. No one knows what it's like to be Linda. The pain and the trauma caused, only Linda herself felt it.
"Runa said her father came here. Is it true sir?"
Long Mr. Yanto was silent until he finally nodded his head.
"What does he want?"
"none. He said he just wanted to apologize and fix his relationship with Aruna."
Linda frowned in disbelief. "That's it?"
Mr. Yanto nodded again. "Brother doesn't believe it either. You'll never believe his words again."
"If you don't believe me then why did you accept him coming to this house?"
"Father pity to see Aruna. He looked very happy when his father came. You want to throw him out but you don't have the same Aruna. So you think, let it go. Aruna has the right to meet her father. I'm also Lin's father."
Linda can't blame her father for this. Indeed Erik is Aruna's father regardless of how he used to behave to him.
