Erik came out of the room and was dressed as well as usual. Linda was happy to see him because it meant that Erik was willing to go to work, at least he was willing to put in the effort.
"I go first" said Erik as he passed.
"Be careful Mas," Linda replied but was ignored by Erik. Linda was not angry because it was common for her.
Erik started the engine and left the house. Not ten minutes before Erik left, Aruna came home from school. He walked in and shouted to his mother.
"Mother ... Runa is home" the little girl shouted. Linda ran over to her son as soon as she heard his voice.
"Have you come home?" linda asked as she greeted him with a hug.
"Have you left again?"
"Yes, your father just left. Wh why? Runa misses dad?"
"Mmmm ... No, Runa just wants to talk to me. Runa wants to take Dad to the amusement park. Do you think you're going to drive us?" asked Aruna doubtfully. Even his own son was afraid of Erik.
Linda could not answer because Erik was most likely unwilling to deliver them. He will reason not to have money.
"So at school, Runa's friends said that they went to an amusement park with their mother's father on vacation yesterday. Runa also wants to go to the amusement park like Runa's friends."
"We'll see Runa later, if your father comes home sooner you can talk to him yourself. Otherwise, I'll ask my dad."
Erik has been coming home a lot of nights lately so Linda realizes it seems like her daughter has no hope of being ushered into the amusement park by Erik.
Aruna just nodded.
"Well, change your clothes and then we'll have lunch." Aruna nodded back.
Linda could only stare at the passing of her son. Erik rarely granted his son's wishes. Even just buying ice cream, he doesn't seem willing. If so surely Linda did not have the heart and obey Aruna's wishes.
But Linda put certain limits on which ones to follow which ones not. Aside from having no money to fulfill Runa's entire wish, she also doesn't want Aruna to grow up to be a spoiled child like her father.
Her night...
Erik came home not so late. Aruna had not slept because she was deliberately waiting for her father to come home. He wanted to convey his wish to the father directly.
"Dad's home yet?" welcome Aruna as soon as she sees her father entering the house.
"Yes, I just came home tired. Runa don't bother ya .. Dad wants to sleep." Erik answered his daughter. Even though the words were not rude it was still not pleasant to hear.
Hearing the father's reply, Aruna's face looked very disappointed. But Erik doesn't care about that. He passed by without noticing Aruna's change in look.
Linda who saw that could only hide her sadness. He then approached Aruna.
"Propay for Runa ... I'll try to talk to you later if you're not tired."
Aruna nodded.
"You want to sleep now?" ask Linda. "You want to stay with me until you fall asleep?" Aruna nodded her head again.
Linda took Aruna by the hand and took her to the child's bedroom.
"Mother hang out for a while, after that mom stay huh? I still have to finish the stitches." Aruna nodded for the umpteenth time. It seemed that he had already lost his voice from being disappointed by his father's attitude.
Not long ago Aruna fell asleep. Linda moved slowly down from the bed so as not to wake her up. Linda doesn't go to her room to see Erik, she goes back to her sewing machine.
Talking to Erik would be pointless at the moment. He must have slept. Every time he comes home from work he complains of tiredness and it will make him more irritable.
It's almost twelve o'clock in the night. Linda is done with her work and she intends to take a break. He immediately went to his room. Just as Linda entered her room Erik woke up.
"You done sewing?" ask Erik. He only wears shorts without wearing a top at all. It seems like he went straight to sleep.
"Yes," replied Linda.
"Come ... " Erik patted the pillow beside him. Linda knows this code. Erik was looking to channel his passion.
Linda complies with Erik's wishes. He was very happy if Erik asked him to serve him. That means Erik loves him a lot and he doesn't play women out there.
Her morning...
As usual, Erik has not woken up from his sleep while Aruna is ready to leave for school.
"Mom, don't forget to ask dad!"
"Yes, I'll ask you if your father's awake." Linda understood what her son meant. He still had not forgotten his son's desire to go to the amusement park.
"Runa left first Ms ... " Aruna stood up after hearing her friends call her name. "That's Runa's friends are already waiting in front."
Linda nodded. Aruna walks out with Linda. Right, in front of the house had gathered some children who used to go to school together. Aruna soon joined the boys.
"Be careful .." said Linda as she waved her hand and was returned by the children.
"We left first Auntie" said Sella. Linda returned to the house after the children were not seen.
Linda then pulled out her motorcycle. He wanted to go to the market to buy meat like Erik wanted. Linda wants to spoil Erik.
Linda was just a little at the market and then came home. He only bought meat because the other ingredients were still in the house.
Time had already shown at nine when Linda finished cooking and Erik woke up. She catches up with Linda to the kitchen for smelling her scent.
"You cook meat? It smells delicious" said Erik, who just woke up.
"Yes, you said you wanted to be cooked meat."
"Good, I want to eat now. Please bring!"
"Good." Linda smiled and took food for Erik. It looks like Erik's mood is good this morning so Rusma will deliver Aruna's message.
"Mas ... Tomorrow morning Runa's off. He wants to go to the amusement park."
"Yes just go" Erik replied without thinking.
"He wants you to deliver. His friends went with their father and mother."
"I don't have time. Anyway if it goes the same I will add to the cost. If you both go it could be more economical."
"Let's give you some money and then Runa and I leave together as soon as Mas?"
"Who would give you money?! Who wants to go to the amusement park? Are you ... ? Use your money!"
"But I have no money. My stitches haven't been taken by their owners. The shopping money from you yesterday also stayed fifty thousand because I have used it to buy meat."
"That's your business!"
