Linda and Aruna return to their home. Carefully Linda carried Aruna and brought her inside the house. Aruna's legs were sewn near her ankles so she had trouble walking.
"illness?" linda asked after putting Aruna's body on the bed. Until now Aruna did not cry at all, even when the doctor was handling his wound he did not cry.
"Little," answered Aruna short.
Linda looked at Aruna's gloomy face. "It's okay, you can still go to school. I'll carry you to school if you want to leave."
"Did I spend Mom's money?" Apparently it was not the school that Aruna was worried about, but her mother's money.
Linda was stunned to hear Aruna question.
"Why talk like that Runa?"
"Mom didn't have any money but my mother took me to the hospital. Forgive Runa Bu, next time Runa will be more careful," said Aruna while lowering her face.
Linda's eyes are glazed. "No dear ... You didn't spend mom's money. If the mother's money runs out, it doesn't matter if it's for Runa. It's just money, I can find it again. But Runa is only mother's. If you lose Runa, you won't get her instead" Linda replied in a hoarse voice. Aruna is a child who understands her better than her husband.
Without hesitation Aruna immediately hugged Linda. "Thank you Mother."
Her night...
"Just come home?" greet Linda as soon as Erik enters the house.
"So why the phone? I'm dropping off passengers." It seems Erik didn't read the message from Linda .
"Aruna fell, kept her leg hurt. I wanted you to take Runa to the hospital."
"Where now?" erik asked without showing any worry.
"There's in his room. His legs are in sewing, it might still hurt to walk."
Erik walked towards Aruna's room followed by Linda behind him
She approached Aruna who was sitting on the bed reading her textbook and saw a bandage covering the stitches on her leg.
"Not bad" murmured Erik. "It doesn't hurt, does it?". Aruna shakes.
"Tuh Lin, it doesn't hurt. You're the one who's overdoing it." Erik stood up and was about to get out of Aruna's room. "You're sleeping, I'm going to sleep too."
"Lin, is the money there yet?" erik asked before leaving Aruna's room. It could be just that Erik thought after seeing the condition of his son.
"Yet ... "
"You try yes, there is still one more day" Erik said as he passed.
Erik didn't even ask for money to pay for Aruna's hospital fees. Still, he asked for money to pay for his car installments.
After Aruna had an accident, Linda could not focus on sewing. The time is up to take care of Aruna because Erik won't help. The target to finish six pieces of clothing failed.
Until the day that has been determined Erik arrived, Linda can only collect three hundred thousand plus money left over Aruna treatment yesterday.
"Where's Lin's money?" Erik asked for money as soon as he got home. He didn't care about Linda applying the ointment to Aruna's wound.
Linda did not answer. He immediately finished his activities hearing Erik's question. Then she wanted to take Aruna back to her room because now they were in the living room. Linda doesn't want Aruna to see Erik scolding her, anymore.
"Runa can walk alone Ma" said the little boy.
"Not sick?" linda asked doubtfully.
"Runa has to learn to walk, right, Ma?" Actually Linda wants to keep holding Aruna.
"Don't pamper Ris too much, let her do it herself" Erik added.
"So where's the money?" erik asked after Aruna left.
"I haven't got the money yet Mas" replied Linda fearfully.
Erik clucked in annoyance. "I've given you two days, you haven't got the money yet?!"
"Mas, yesterday I had to take Aruna to the hospital. The money I collected was also used for Aruna's medical expenses."
"May ...!!! That's just your excuse!!!"
"I really mean it." Linda was scared.
"You find it now, because tomorrow I have to deposit it!"
"But where should I look? It's already night Mas ... "
"It's none of my business. What's clear is that you have to bring home a million!"
Linda was silent unable to speak. He twisted his brain from where he could get a million dollars apart from his parents.
"Go away soon!!! Wait what else?!!" snapped Erik.
Erik did not care outside was drizzling, which he obviously wanted tomorrow morning the money should already be in his hands.
Linda stood up and walked like a dazed person. His gaze was blank and his pale face made him look like an undead. No matter it was almost ten in the evening, Linda still left to look for the money Erik asked for.
So scared he was to Erik Linda to forget to wear a raincoat.
Linda rode her motorcycle slowly because she still had no purpose. His mind was bright, looking for someone who might be able to help him other than his parents. Until finally he remembered Sari, his beloved sister.
Linda knows she still has a debt to Sari, but Linda believes Sari will help her.
Linda arrived at Sari's house in a drenched state. The distance between his house and Sari's house was far enough to make his body shiver.
"Yes for goodness sake .... Linda ?!!" Sari glared at Linda standing in front of her house. He had almost fallen asleep and heard someone knocking on his door.
"What are the nights here? Come inside!" Sari brought Linda in. Then he took a towel and a shirt to change Linda's wet clothes.
"Where to change clothes first, I'll make you some warm tea."
Linda followed her sister's words. She rushed to the bathroom to change her wet clothes.
Moments later Linda and Sari sit together in Sari's living room.
Sari who previously looked panicked and threw a lot of questions now fell silent. He pityed seeing Linda's gloomy condition while continuing to hold onto her teacup.
"Cin ... You all right?" ask Sari slowly. Linda flinched and almost had her tea cup removed from her hand.
"I'm fine Ma'am. Is Faisal asleep?" Linda asked back. Sari just nodded.
"So, what brings you here these nights?"
Linda was silent. He hesitated to express his purpose but he also had no other choice.
"I want to borrow money. Just one million," Linda replied without daring to look at her brother.
Sari let out a deep breath after hearing Linda's reply. "Erik told you to?"
"Eh ... No ... Nope. It's my own initiative. I know my debt that I haven't paid before. But I promise you later that I have the money I'll pay for everything." Linda pretends to be tough.
"Tell Erik, if he wanted to borrow money he should have come himself!" Sari stand. She did not want to continue the conversation with Linda knowing that her sister would definitely defend her husband.
