119. The Book of Lilian III

Lilian did the same as she did on the previous book. It smoothes the daisy flower and then rubs it on the next sheet.

This time Lilian deliberately smooths the flower at once with the help of others so that she can read it without pause. After finishing wiping all the sheets on the book pad, other writings appear in the book sheet.

Not all pages in the book contain writing, there are sheets of books that do not have writing on the sheet.

Lilian took a deep breath and then began to recite the contents of the notebook again.

Before breaking the spirit summoning ritual formation, I noticed that there were countless people I knew present at the ritual. They wanted more power, not only in the Apollonian kingdom but they wanted power in other territories.

The formation was done in an incorrect manner. They used the blood of Prince Seint who had dried up from the battlefield but that way did not work, therefore they sacrificed ninety-nine girls from various regions to be sacrificed.

In the spirit summoning ritual there is a person wearing witch clothes and everyone calls him or her Master. He was wearing the witch's clothes and covered his face so that to the end I could not see what the man looked like.

Lilian opened the next sheet after she finished reading the page.

That man was the leader of those who had betrayed the Apollonian kingdom. When the peak of the ritual was being done I damaged the formation by throwing an explosive on the formation image until it was destroyed.

After damaging it I ran to hide because it had damaged the formation. Not far from my hiding place was the sound of someone shouting for help.

At first I wanted to ignore the voice but my heart was moved to hear the pain of the person and I finally looked for where the source of the sound came from.

After searching for the source of the voice, I finally found an old man whose hands and feet were tied with many wounds on his body.

After unbinding and waiting for the person to calm down, the person took out a few books from inside his stomach and gave them to me.

The atmosphere was still calm, no one interjected or commented so Lilian continued reading the next page.

Before I received some of those books, I had to look at the atmosphere of the ritual place. By promising to return the old man finally let me go.

After I returned the place was so chaotic, the ritual leader was furious at failing with his plan and ordered people to search for the person who had ruined his plan.

It was a pesky fate for me to be captured by them and push my body into an already broken formation. Some of my soul feels forced to get out of my own body but I don't know what miracle I get the atmosphere there becomes dark even though it is still daytime. Getting the chance to escape, as much as possible I set my foot in the dark and accidentally bumped into the leader of the ritual.

The man dropped an identification tag, I nimbly picked up the identification and ran with all my might to avoid the group of people and returned to the old man to help him.

Still with a calm atmosphere, Lilian returned to open the next page.

After arriving at the old man's place, he again gave some of the books to me and said that I had gotten a curse for ruining the ritual.

Part of my soul has been lost and soon part of my soul will disappear. The man gave me a choice if I wanted to protect the kingdom of Apollonia then I would have to sacrifice some of my remaining soul to summon another spirit that would occupy my old body.

Since I didn't have much time left, I immediately agreed to the old man's proposal. After I agreed, the man mentioned his true identity as the guardian of the spell book that the previous Apollonian King had left behind to seal the existence of the dragon.

The book should have been handed over to King Thanos but on the way he was captured and imprisoned with other captives. Focusing on the spirit summoning ritual, they did not realize that the old man was not among the people being detained.

The man taught me a spell that would make some of my soul exchange for others. After successfully reciting the spell, the man handed me the other items for me to take away. The old man was already feeling not strong anymore and gave me the mandate to take the spell book with me.

He advised that the book should not fall into the hands of others and that he should breathe his last. After paying her last respects I was forced to leave that person because the ritual group was searching for my whereabouts.

I ran non-stop and met Rosa on the border of the forbidden area. I hid books, identification tags and other items in a bundle of cloth.

One of the books is inscribed with the names of the traitors of the kingdom and the evidence of his betrayal. I also left the leader's identification and hoped that with all that the new owner of my body could foil a grand plan.

Lilian immediately opened the next sheet.

Because I have little time left. I can't figure out what kind of grand plan they're planning. But they will do that plan when the lunar eclipse happens.

Hopefully good people will see this notebook and foil those people's plans.

I hope someone can learn the magic spells written on the spell book. With that magic, the kingdom of Apollonia will remain safe.

I also hope that Prince Seint gets the spell book and looks after the people I care about.

Lilian opened the next page but there was only a blank piece of paper sitting there.

"There is no more writing." Lilian broke the silence.

King Reinal looked at Lilian seriously. "Do you have that bundle of cloth?" Ask.

Lilian nodded slowly. "Yes ... Me and the others had opened the bundle of cloth. The contents of the bundle there are indeed several books, one of which is a spell book written using ancient language." Reply Lilian.

"Lillian opened the book last time no one could read the spell and I proposed to take the book to someone who understood the language but until now it was still a plan. Because of Lilian's busyness we haven't been able to bring the book to anyone who understands the language." Obviously Asgar.
