Seint, Lilian, Artem and Mr. Asadel sat facing each other in one of the rooms in the inn. Mr. Asadel had previously made sure the place was safe and there would be no one to disturb or eavesdrop on their discussions.
After making sure the area had abundant wealth, Seint concluded that someone was deliberately hiding the fact.
"Mr Asadel ... Before we came here how many people had seen the condition of this area?" Ask Seint who started the conversation.
"Before there were many people who came to see the condition of this area Your Majesty. But the result they gave remained the same: there was no hope for this place." Answer Mr. Asadel.
Lilian frowned confusedly. "Where are these people from?" Ask.
"The men always said that His Majesty King Reinal sent them. We never asked any further about their origin as they always carried the emblematic plaque of the Palace." Reply Mr. Asadel recalled.
Seint sighed softly. "What conclusions do they always give?" Ask.
"They always say this area is not suitable for us to occupy. There are noble families who will guarantee our move if we wish to leave this place." Obviously Mr. Asadel.
Artem frowned confusedly. "Do you know which noble families guarantee the removals of the inhabitants?" Ask.
Mr. Asadel shook his head slowly. "Before we had asked but those people said it would be better if we didn't know who the noble was." Answer Mr. Asadel.
"Then have the people who have left this place been helped by that noble?" Ask Seint.
"No, Your Majesty. They went to find a place worth living. But they can't let go of this place. I have previously explained that this place is part of our life, none of us have any thoughts of giving land title to others even though we should always swallow the harsh reality that this area is not worthy of our stay." Obviously Mr. Asadel.
Lilian nodded slowly, there was so much she could deduce in her head. There have been many people who have researched about this land but why they are not telling the facts about this area.
In the era that Lilian occupied now, using coins made of gold as a medium of exchange for goods. People should not feel difficulty in detecting the existence of gold.
They seemed to deliberately cover the fact that the place has a lot of gold content. Moreover, Mr. Asadel said there was a noble who would guarantee their move if they were willing to leave the place.
"Don't you guys think something's weird?" Lilian asked suddenly.
Seint nodded slowly. "I agree with you. Father told me if he had made much effort to prosper this area ... Of course I've done some investigation into this land but it's possible that those people have given me false information." Seint's Conclusion.
"I agree with You, Your Majesty. It is possible that all this time there is someone who has a high position to know the actual facts about the existence of gold here. That person must have deliberately spread rumors if this area had no hope of being lived in ... So the natives here feel desperate and leave this place." Artem.
Mr. Asadel rounded his eyes perfectly hearing the conclusion of Seint and Artem. "Maybe His Majesty ... For a long time there were some people who volunteered to buy land here. They always say that it's better if we sell this land and live somewhere else." Clearly while recalling the faces of those people.
"You don't ask me why they're buying land here?" Seint asked suspiciously.
Mr. Asadel nodded enthusiastically. "Of course we have asked Your Majesty. Why they buy land they can't cultivate but they give a reasonable reason so we just believe it." Obviously Mr. Asadel.
"What's their reason?" Ask Seint quickly.
Mr. Asadel frowned recalling the reason those people had been before. "They said they wanted to make this place a base to make weapons."
Seint, Lilian and Artem looked at each other. The three of them were very confident that there was someone deliberately hiding the facts about this place.
Lord Asadel nodded slowly. "They were always communicating through eyes and sign language that we didn't understand. There have also been some people who use language that we don't understand." Answer Mr. Asadel.
Lilian rounded her eyes perfectly hearing the reply from Lord Asadel. "Did those people use this kind of emblem on their chests?" Lilian asked while showing one of the symbols of the Elmore kingdom.
Mr. Asadel nodded enthusiastically. "Yes Your Majesty. Some people use this kind of emblem on their left chest. They always ask us to sell land here but we always refuse. They are also seen always visiting a place that is not far from here Your Majesty." Evidently.
"What are they doing there?" Ask Lilian quickly.
"I know little of His Majesty. They always set up a tent near the waterfall where we took the water. They also often do strange activities at some point in the region." Answer Mr. Asadel.
"Can you take us to a place they visit often?" Ask Artem.
"May Your Majesty. But I need some natives here to accompany us there. There are places they often visit but I have not confirmed where it is. One of the residents here has seen them, for that I need some residents here as a guide." Obviously Mr. Asadel.
"Of course .. bring in people who can give us accurate information." Firm Seint.
"Your Majesty ... I'd better excuse myself first to gather the residents that His Majesty can ask." Said Mr. Asadel.
"Allah ... " Say Seint.
After the departure of Lord Asadel, the three stared at each other in turn.
"We'd better stay here longer ... We need to find out as much information." Artem.
"You're right ... Can you send a letter to my brother to get here?" Lilian asked Artem.
"For what?" Ask Seint.
"We need a lot of people in this investigation ... I guess the problem we're investigating right now isn't as simple as we think." Reply Lilian.
"Your Majesty ... I will use birds as a quick alternative to provide this information. Hopefully Mr. Zheyan and Mr. Asgar get here in no time." Artem.
Seint nodded slowly. "Hopefully we get a bright spot in this investigation." Seint.
"Either why I feel so bad ... The longer I'm here, the more I'm feeling very restless." Said Lilian while stroking the chest.
Seint clasped Lilian's soft hand. "Do you need a break?" Ask.
Lilian nodded slowly. "Call me after Lord Asadel returns."
Seint gave a short nod then led Lilian to his room to rest immediately.
