135. Night Lantern 2

After seeing Lilian's position and the others safe, Seint finally began to move his troops to spread out forming a formation they had previously set up.

Previously Seint had ensured the position of Queen, Princess Evilia, Crown Princess, other Nobles Princess and all other women and small children were in safe territory.

There was the sound of explosions several times that made black smoke billow up into the sky and the previously dark atmosphere became increasingly dark. Seint ran towards the place where the explosion continued.

Upon Seint's arrival at the scene of the explosion, Artem and Asgar had already moved to attack the enemies along with other soldiers who tried to resist the movement of the opponent.

Seint tightened his grip on the sword he always carried and then ran to slash all the enemies in front of him. Seint had come up with a strategy whereby soldiers on their side would use a red ribbon on the left arm to distinguish them from the other side.

Although all the soldiers had the same colored clothes but Seint and the others could distinguish the other party by looking at his left arm. If the soldier wears a red ribbon on his left arm then they are part of them.

The explosion happened again because the opponent always released explosives. Zheyan in his protective suit released an arrow through the air and used small flames at the end of the arrow he was about to release.

Explosions were heard again because Zheyan's actions overwhelmed the other party because it always avoided the flames of the arrow that Zheyan released made the explosives explode before being released.

At a place not far from where they were, Duke Marven was fighting against Marquis Gaustark. The first moment the first explosion rang out, Duke Marven immediately ran to the source of the sound and found Marquis Gaustark was eradicating the soldiers of the security guards.

With a quick step Duke Marven instantly raised his sword and ran to attack Marquis Gaustark. Since the fight was very balanced, Duke Marven used his experience during the war while Marquis Gaustark tried to use poison to paralyze the movement of Duke Marven.

Duke Marven held tightly to his sword and with quick steps he slashed the left hand of Marquis Gaustark quickly. After successfully dodging Duke Marven's attack using his poison, Marquis Gaustark finally got a deep enough wound on his left arm. Feeling the deep wound, Marquis Gaustark tried to enter the crowd to escape and it was very precise.

Duke Marven tried to chase after Marquis Gaustark but other enemies came to the head and Marquis Gaustark managed to escape. Although he could not escape far away, he had at least some time to treat his injuries before returning to fight.

The formation was made to avoid the other party from entering the area where the Queen and the other Nobles Princess were. Seeing that the enemy had always wanted to damage the formation, Zheyan ran while shaking his sword at the other party.

Seint and King Reinal looked at each other, seeing the amount of help from the enemy side Seint and King Reinal did not feel daunted even afraid at all. The two just nodded at each other then attacked the enemies like before.

The atmosphere in the night place of the previously bustling lantern with excitement was now turned into an area of bloodshed. The river that was previously filled with many lantern candles was now turned into a river of plenty of blood.

The night that was supposed to be filled with many dreams and hopes of many people now turned into a night filled with blood and a roar of pain. Tonight will be a night of awakening or a night of destruction for everyone depending on who survives to the end.

Both camps are equally exerting all their abilities. Seint did not even want to budge and still fought against all the enemies. With the rapid movement of Seint and King Reinal, both managed to suppress the existence of the enemy in the front row.

Not much different from the conditions experienced by Seint and King Reinal, the position of the middle row commanded by Artem and Asgar also increased. Thanks to the words of encouragement from Asgar make the spirit of the soldiers in defending their kingdom increased.

Zheyan also helped maintain the middle row because the rear row was in a safe position and the defense formation made was not easily damaged.

Their shock did not stop there, after starting to accept the Eagle Knight Group was on their side there was a huge explosion sound from the direction where Lilian and the other women and children were.
