Prince From Another World

Prince From Another World
Gathering

I walked slowly to Dixie Street. My only destination is one, Lucent Inn. I thought that with such a crowded atmosphere right now it might not give me the creeps. But unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have an effect. Because once past the cathedral the atmosphere is back quiet. No visitors walked up to this place. The atmosphere here doesn't change like the first day I came here. Stay quiet, quiet, and gripping.

Even so, it still did not dampen my intention to still go to the Lucent Inn. Slowly and carefully while watching the surroundings, I walked closer and closer to the inn. Just in case the old man shows up again all of a sudden. For now it seems safe because nobody is here. While I had arrived in front of the inn. Earlier I had prepared a small flashlight for lighting so that I could see inside through the glass door. I started my flashlight and then I pointed it at the glass door. Haven't had a chance to see what was inside suddenly someone's voice startled me.

"What are you looking for, Miss?"

Bummer. The flashlight I was holding slipped out of my hand. I immediately turned around to see who the owner of the voice was.

My heart rate that had soared quickly still did not return to normal. Now my blood is frozen because it is amazed by the figure in front of me at this moment. A handsome young man with pale white skin, bright blue eyes and brownish black hair smiled at me. One more dress, like the clothes worn by the old nobles I used to see on television.

"What are you doing here these nights?" his tanyakannya disperse my stubbornness.

"Ti .. no .. just walk!" rigidly answered. Then immediately pick up the falling flashlight and turn it off.

"Walk? By himself? Can I go with you?" tanyanya offered herself.

"Te .. of course. It might be fun" I replied as if struck by his good looks. But after that a little regret having accepted the offer of a stranger.

"Include my name Wallace. I live in St. Barbara," said the young man introducing himself as he reached out.

"Eriza Ravella's. I'm coming from Losta" I said, replying to Wallace's hand. His hands felt so cold that I felt my body freeze.

"You came all the way here, what business?" tanyakanya.

"Just on vacation" I replied nervously.

"Oh ... Do you like this place?" ask again. Now we start walking slowly.

"You mean Dixie Holly? Or New Angeles City?" my question is clearer.

"Both," he answered.

"I don't really like Dixie Holly. This place is scary" I said honestly. Yes, my body temperature has returned to more normal after previously feeling frozen.

"So you just got close to the Lucent Inn. Though there are rarely humans who dare to approach there," said Wallace with a soft voice.

"Well, I was just curious. I think I heard the place was haunted. There's even a rumor that says whoever comes in can't get out" I told him. I'm getting more used to this stranger next to me.

"All of that is not true. Just some fake news. That was to avoid any thieves daring to go inside and take the valuables left behind," Wallace replied with confidence.

"really? Then, you yourself what are you doing here?" I asked suspiciously. Maybe he has bad intentions.

"I'm just passing by. When I came out of the Dark Wolf shop I saw a girl standing in front of the Lucent Inn. I approached because there were two men standing behind you. Like doing something. Then they left as soon as they saw me coming" Wallace replied calmly.

"Huh? There are two men you say? Obviously I was just alone. I didn't even see anyone around the inn. Don't you joke!" my word. Obviously I was shocked to hear Wallace say that. Because I didn't feel anyone else behind me.

"I'm not kidding. You know this place is haunted" Wallace replied with a strange grin.

I get so scared seeing it like that. Especially here so quiet.

"Come, we'll go there!" bring Wallace.

"Where?" tanyaku.

"Ke Stairway Street's. Come on, this way!"

Without waiting for an answer from me Wallace walked ahead of me.

He led me through a small alley with dim street lights. But once it reached the end of the alley, the atmosphere changed. Entering Stairway Street the atmosphere is brighter, crowded and noisy. More like a night market. There are also many stands such as on Dixie Street, the difference is that the stand here offers more entertainment and games than merchandise. Stairway Street is also dominated by the uninhabited old building. With the festive lights and decoration of the stand that stands in front of the old building does not create the impression of a Dixie Street.

This time Wallace took me to a rather quiet place. We arrived in front of an Italian-style building. From the nameplate that is still hanging in front of it is clear this building was once a restaurant. Wallace took me to sit on one of the steps of the building. I said, sitting a little far next to him.

"Why did you bring me here?" my many.

"I want to talk to you. Can't it?" he said innocently.

"Bo .. I could," I said. Back to feeling clumsy with this kind of atmosphere.

"Can I know more about you?" ask him with kalem.

"Why?" aska I want to know.

"Are we not friends now? I want to get to know my new friend better" Wallace replied with a calm smile.

"What if you start first?" I made an offer.

"Well, what do you want to know?" tanyakanya.

"Good, home, work .." I answered accordingly.

"I'm the same age as you. Like I said, I live in St. Barbara. My job is just helping the family business there. Anything else?" calm answer.

"Are you still in college?" my many. Not an important question just want to know.

"No. I'm smart enough already" replied Wallace praising him.

"Oh," I murmured slowly.

"You yourself, how? You said you came from Losta? Is it far from New Angeles?" ask Wallace innocently.

"Never before" Wallace answered honestly.

"I'm also out of town for the first time, into this town, too" I chimed in.

"You're traveling alone?" ask Wallace.

"No. I came with my cousin. I left him at the hotel while I was walking around here" I replied.

"You're a brave girl!" praise Wallace in admiration.

"How farmer?" my spoken.

" You dare to travel far. And come alone nights in a place you know is scary just to answer your curiosity," Wallace said with a strange look.

"Are you not like that too?" my reply.

"Me?" Wallace muttered but then smiled full of mystery.

"Well, there was an old man who prevented me from approaching the Lucent Inn. Do you know who the old man is?" I remember my first meeting with a foreign old man.

"Old grandfather? Maybe he's the keeper of the cathedral" replied Wallace. It looks like he's thinking about something.

"Oh ... But why did he keep me from getting close to that inn, huh?" ask me while thinking.

"Don't I tell you the place is haunted" Wallace said softly without expression.

I dare not look at him with his expressionless face. He looks scary. I just said slowly.

"Maybe it's because of the rumors."

The atmosphere here is still the same. I grabbed my phone to look at the clock. I was surprised that time had urged me to go home soon. I rise to my feet.

"Wallace, I have to go home. It's almost eleven in the evening, I promised the taxi driver waiting in the parking lot. I'll be back before 11 p.m.," I told him.

"alright. I'm taking it back to Dixie Street, '" said Wallace. He stood up.

And we walked back through that narrow alley to get back to Dixie Street. But Wallace only accompanied me through the Dark Wolf shop.

"I'll just take you here. Is it okay to walk alone?" said.

"No" I answered.

"Tomorrow if there's time come back here again. I'll be waiting here at 8 p.m.," Wallace said.

I nodded slowly.

"Surely," I said with a smile.

He returned my smile while waving his hand. I turned around and left. But I still look back. I saw him standing there smiling. I smiled and turned my head. Keep walkin. Then he looked back, where he was standing. He's not there anymore.

...*****...

I opened the door slowly. I thought Sienna was asleep but apparently she was still busy with her phone. It was past midnight. I threw my body into the bed.

"How's the walk?" ask Sienna.

"Lumayan," I replied. Although actually more than good.

"Tumben you haven't slept?" my many.

"So Justin called. They're in Jackville. Alex also sends a greeting to you," replied Sienna with a sparkling face.

"Oh," I said not interested in Sienna's last words.

" You don't want to return the greeting?" ask Sienna.

"No. I don't want him to hope. But convey my gratitude for the gift from him," I replied. I don't want to give Alex any hope because I'm not interested in him at all.

"OK," replied Sienna. He re-typed on his phone screen. Finished with that he said, "I sleep first. Good night, Riza!"

"Night!" my reply.

I write my diary on the table. Open the blank sheet and start writing.

...3 June 2013,...

...First meeting with Wallace! Looks like my curiosity about Lucent Inn has moved on to him. What an unexpected meeting....

I smiled reading my writing. Then I closed the diary and put it back on the table. I lay in bed trying to close my eyes. But I can't even sleep.

Bizarrely. Why am I even thinking about Wallace, huh?!
