I got out of the room and went downstairs. The Aunt Jane I was looking for was in the kitchen. I approached him.

"August, Auntie!" my greeting.

"August, Riza! Tumben is tidy? Wanna go?" ask aunt Jane.

"Yes. Oh yeah, my aunt will be back out of town the day after tomorrow to extend my contract!" I told Aunt Jane my plan.

"Is that so fast? How long is your contract there?" ask aunt Jane.

"About five years! So I was only able to go home after five years of my employment contract was up!" I answered casually.

"A long time! You didn't wait for Sienna and Justin to come back first? You just got home soon enough to leave again?" tanya aunty proposed.

"No, Auntie. The longer I'm here the more work I have to start over. Earlier I wanted to apologize to Auntie if I had any faults. And thank you also for all your Aunt's kindness to me all this time!" I said sincerely.

"What are you talking about? Why should I apologize to everyone? You're a good kid, never let your aunt down. Auntie's proud of you!" reply aunt Jane.

"Thank you again, Auntie! I want to go out and buy some necessities that I will bring the day after tomorrow" I said saying goodbye.

"Yes, you go alone?" ask aunt Jane.

"Yes!" my answer.

"Do you need an aunt to accompany you?" aunt Jane's proposal. 

"No need, besides my groceries are not much," I refused. 

"Oh, then be careful on the road!" aunt Jane's message.

"Yes, Auntie! I'm leaving!" I said.

After Eriza's departure, Jane's aunt felt very unsettled.

"Why do I suddenly feel bad, huh!?" muttered.

A few hours later the house phone rang. Aunt Jane quickly picked him up.

"Hello!" answer aunt Jane.

Aunt Jane was so shocked she couldn't say anything. The phone just slipped out of his hand. He was so shocked.

As soon as Eriza said goodbye to Jane's aunt, she set off by bus to the city center. Not too far. Eriza stopped at the next stop. He went to the drug store, then to some other shops. Do not forget to also book a plane ticket for the day after tomorrow.

Eriza immediately crossed over as the pedestrian crossing lights lit up. Something across the street distracted him. He saw the figure of a woman standing across the street. The crossing lights instantly changed without realizing it. Suddenly a car that had come out of nowhere drove at high speed towards Eriza. Eriza who was late realized the arrival of the speed of the car can not avoid. Until finally the accident happened. The car hit Eriza to make her body bounce on the asphalt. The car stopped after hitting a light pole on the side of the road. Eriza was unconscious with her head covered in blood. The driver also suffered injuries from a hard impact and broken car glass. Some people who saw the incident immediately called the Ambulance to take the victim to the hospital and others called the police.

On the way to the hospital, the medical team continues to provide first aid to victims, especially Eriza. Blood continued to pour from his head while he was still unconscious. One of the nurses tried to find the victim's identity card and mobile phone to contact the family.

Arriving at the hospital, Eriza was immediately rushed to the ICU room. The nurse who managed to find Eriza's cell phone and identity card immediately handed her over to the police. The police immediately contacted the name of Aunt Jane who was on the contact list.

Aunt Jane was shocked to hear the news. With a trembling and sobbing sound, he called Edgar and Sienna informed him of the accident. Edgar immediately drove his car to pick up Aunt Jane to the hospital. Ginnevra was with them.

From home to the trip to the hospital aunt Jane continued to shed tears. He incessantly offered prayers in his heart for Eriza's salvation. Ginnevra tried to comfort Jane's aunt. Edgar who was no less anxious also continued to pray in his heart.

"We can only continue to pray that Eriza is okay!" said Ginnevra who followed Jane's aunt's nod.

Arriving at the hospital, Jane's aunt, Edgar, and Ginnevra immediately rushed to the ICU room. ICU room doors are still tightly closed. In front of him were two policemen standing guard. Seeing Jane's aunt approaching the door of the ICU room, one of the cops stops her.

"Sorry, you can't go there. And who are you?" ask the cop.

"I'm the aunt of a victim named Eriza Ravella. I got a call from the police that said my niece had an accident" Aunt Jane replied.

"Oh so, you're the aunt of the victim named Eriza?!" ask the police to make sure again.

"really. How's my nephew doing? Is the one in the ICU room my niece?" ask aunt Jane anxiously.

"Yes. Her niece is still in the ICU. The medical team is still trying to save his life. Let's just pray that Madam's niece is okay!" answer the police.

Aunt Jane just nodded in resignation. Ginnevra accompanied Aunt Jane while clasping her hand to strengthen her. Edgar continued to pray in his heart.

'Yes, Lord .. Please save Eriza!'

The door to the ICU room opened. The doctor came out of the room. Aunts Jane, Ginnevra and Edgar immediately approached the doctor.

"Doctor, how's my niece Eriza doing?" ask aunt Jane with anxious expectation.

The doctor breathed. He looked at Jane's aunt, Ginnevra and Edgar alternately. Then shook his head weakly.

"Sorry, Madam. We've tried our best. But your nephew's life cannot be saved. He's lost too much blood. We're sorry, too" explained the doctor, who left immediately.

Hearing that explanation Aunt Jane's face suddenly turned pale. And just then his body suddenly collapsed. Ginnevra and Edgar immediately carry the body of Jane's aunt who fell unconscious.

"Auntie ...," call Ginnevra after they move Aunt Jane in the seat.

Slowly Aunt Jane's consciousness returned. He opened his eyes. Seeing Ginnevra and Edgar in front of him, he cried again.

"Hiks .... Eriza ...," sobs Jane's aunt. Ginnevra immediately hugged him.

Eriza's body has been cleaned. As they looked at Eriza's body lying without a breath. Aunt Jane's crying broke again.

"Riza ... Awake, darling!" said aunt Jane while rubbing Eriza's head with tears.

"Why do you have to leave so soon? Huhuhuhu ..," sobs aunt Jane again.

"If Aunt had not let you go alone .. maybe you wouldn't have ended up like this. Maybe this won't happen. Huhuhuhu ...."
