This morning we were having breakfast sandwiches while chatting lightly. Aunt Jane was telling a funny story about a new employee in her office. To make us all laugh. Our laughter stopped as soon as a car stopped in front of the house and rang its horn aloud. Sienna immediately got up and ran out of the house. I guess I can guess who came.

Alex's car drove to Lavender Park. Today the four of us will spend our day there. This is Justin's suggestion. All I know is that it's a flower garden. "Yes," I said. I looked around and realized that only Alex and I were here.

"Where are Sienna and Justin going?" my many.

"They went to the labyrinth garden in the west there. He said there was a beautiful garden and shower when he made it to the center of the labyrinth," Alex replied excitedly.

"Oh," I muttered.

"You want to go there too?" ask Alex.

"No. Just here!" my answer.

"Then we'll just sit there!" take Alex as he steps towards the pavilion. I followed him in the back.

"Yes, it needs talent too" Alex replied.

I'm nodding.

I don't know why being with Alex was more awkward than being with Edgar. There's not so much to talk about with Alex. In the end it was always Alex who asked and I answered.

"How's college?" alex asked him to open another topic.

"As usual. Nothing special. You how?" my many.

"I work in an advertising office. Because it's a busy schedule so I don't have time to call you. It's rare to even come here to see you" Alex explained.

"It's okay" I said.

"Then do I still have a chance?" ask Alex carefully.

I rolled my eyes and heard Alex say that. At first he said he wanted to be my girlfriend now he was hoping for a higher level. Something I never thought of, looking for a companion. I responded with laughter.

"Alex, I haven't even thought about it!" I said it felt funny.

"Yes, what's wrong with a little hope," he said in self-defense.

"Don't expect too high, Alex!" I said.

"Why?" tanyakanya.

"Aren't you afraid of disappointment? Don't hang your expectations too high on something that isn't certain" I advised.

Alex is smiling.

" Riza, any decision is a risk. If we don't try we'll never know the outcome. So, if you're not prepared for all the risks, don't start!" said Alex steady.

"You're good at talking. I surrender!" my spoken.

"Riza, that's not the way to solve the problem! It's the same as losing. You will get nothing if you give up. You're even going to lose something that might be very close to you" Alex said.

"It's not my problem, Alex! That's in your opinion but not in my position" I replied.

"Not just in love, Riza! But in career, in life, in achieving success, it all happens."

I cut it fast.

"You're good at talking now, yeah! You should be a motivator!"

"I'm not, I'm just explaining what's in my grip" Alex defended himself.

"What if I like someone else?! Are you going to give up and stop chasing me?" I take Alex seriously.

Alex was silent for a moment with my question. He looked at me seriously. And then laugh.

"Who do you like? Is he your college friend? I'll just give up after I know I'm better than I am" Alex said with confidence.

I just glared sharply at him. This young man really did not give up easily. I finally walked away from the pavilion. Alex is chasing from behind.

"Riza, wait! You're angry, yes!" his yell.

But I didn't bother him and kept going. Get around and enjoy the view of Lavender until the afternoon.
