Edgar Asks Wallace for Help

Still on the way, in the car to the apartment. For a moment I forgot my problem and talked to Edgar about the matter of Ginnevra.

"Edgar, you have to go home! Because you don't need Crystal Orlov to help Ginnevra," I told Edgar on the way.

"What are you talking about?" ask Edgar not to understand.

"You just need to find Ruby's true heart in your house, Edgar! That's the only thing that could wake Ginnevra up. Ruby's heart will lead back some of her departed soul. That's because Ruby's heart was given by someone your sister loved dearly. And it's not an ordinary Ruby, it's a soul-protective Ruby." I explained as Batilda said.

"Ruby's heart? You mean a necklace with a red pomegranate stone? I haven't seen my sister wear it in a long time. How did you know about the necklace?" ask Edgar.

"So I went back to the Gipsy store. The Gipsy woman named Batilda told me, "I replied.

"You go back there? Why should we believe the word astrologer?" ask Edgar underestimating.

"There's no harm in trying, Edgar! If there are easier things to do, why look for the impossible? I'm sure what he said was true. You have to go home and find Ruby's heart, Edgar!" I said half forcefully.

"If I go home what about you?" ask Edgar to disagree.

"I'll be here to solve my own problems. When all is done I'll be home!" my answer.

"can't. We have to go home together!" Edgar insisted.

"Edgar, Ginnevra can't wait! Haven't you been here long? After all, when we leave alone, why go home together?" my many.

"It's not so, Riza! I also need you to explain to Nancy's grandmother that we don't need Crystal Orlov! And again do you think I could leave you alone here with your current state?" said Edgar.

I just stared at Edgar.

"Then we go back to Dixie Holly tonight!" my proposal.

"No! You better rest tonight! After being sure you're okay, I'll drive you back tomorrow night" Edgar replied.

I don't speak anymore. We also arrived at the apartment. I got out of Edgar's car and said goodbye to him. He still seems reluctant to leave, but I assure him I'm fine. Then he left.

Dixie Holly's night is not the usual night. Although it has entered November, the atmosphere of Christmas is not at all felt in this area. This place remains gloomy with its mysterious air.

The young man was looking at the list of phone books in the living room. Remembering something, he grabbed a phone not far from his seat. I dialed a few numbers and called. Waiting for a few seconds, the phone picked up, and,

📲[Halo] A very familiar voice spoke.

"Hello, grandma! It's me Edgar. How's brother doing?" ask Edgar.

📲[Oo Edgar, you apparently! You haven't called in a long time. Ginnevra is still the same as the last time you left. Did you get Crystal Orlov?]

"No, but I found another way to help my brother. Grandma must know the necklace that my sister used to wear. Can grandma find the necklace? Because the necklace can wake her from her sleep!" bright Edgar.

📲[What necklace? I don't know at all. Edgar, Ginnevra can only be awakened with Crystal Orlov! Find that crystal then Ginnevra will heal!]

"No way, Grandma! Crystal Orlov is cursed! How could it possibly cure brother!? It's impossible to find the crystal anyway. As of this moment, no one has found him yet!" obviously Edgar.

"Miss. Grandma Nancy!" call Edgar but it's free.

Irritatedly slamming the phone. He started to panic. There are only three days left. He picked up the phone again and dialed Eriza's phone number. One last number left, he stopped and closed the phone.

"I can't bother him now!" mumbling itself.

Edgar decided to leave the apartment. At high speed he drove his car to Dixie Holly. It arrived quickly. Park his car at random and then get into Dixie Street.

With a look here and there as if looking for something. He arrived in front of the cathedral. There's nobody there. While he was confused himself. The cathedral door was closed. He tried to knock on the door strongly while calling Mr. Berto. But there's no answer. Suddenly Wallace emerged from behind the fence.

"Freely you scream. The old man is gone!" said Wallace.

Edgar immediately stopped his action and went outside to approach Wallace.

"I happen to be looking for you!" said Edgar who panicked.

"What's wrong? Why did you come alone? Is the girl I love no longer willing to see me?" ask Wallace gloomily.

"I don't want to take care of your problems. This one's more important. It's about Ginnevra! I have to get the Crystal Orlov in three days' time or I will lose my brother forever!" Edgar explained.

But Wallace turned his lips. With certainty he said.

"Crystal Orlov won't help anything. That's not an antidote, it might just bring disaster. Believe me you don't need that crystal to save him!"

"I know there's still another way to save Ginnevra. But Nancy's grandmother was very confident that Crystal Orlov could cure her instead of Ruby's Heart!" obviously Edgar.

"Ruby's heart?!" Wallace murmuring. He scrunched his forehead.

"Ginnevra shouldn't be that weak if Ruby's heart is still attached to her body. Where is Ruby's heart now?" ask Edgar.

"I don't know, she's not wearing it anymore. Gipsy said Ruby's heart was still inside my house, in a room, in a box and locked. And I have to find him! While Nancy's grandmother urged me to immediately find Crystal Orlov and bring him home! I was really confused, panicked, and I only had three days! Three days!! What should I do?!" edgar answered with a huff.

"I think grandma has other plans. He must have had a bad goal of using Ginnevra so you could find that Crystal Orlov for him!" wallace said unexpectedly.

"What's? There's no way Grandma would do that! He took care of us and raised us! She was like my own grandmother. How could he have done something bad to us?" edgar could not believe it at all.

"You never know what the human heart is. The one that looked good from the outside could quietly stab from behind! I'm just anticipating. It sounds very strange if the old granny insists on asking you to bring the Crystal Orlov while there are other options she can try. I'm very curious. Had I been able to get in there, I would have known what the plan was!" wallace said seriously.

"You think Grandma also put up the protective seal of the house?" ask Edgar.

"It could be so, '" replied Wallace.

"Then, what should I do!?" edgar asked confused.

"I have a plan! That is if you want to work with me. I can help! But, stay without Crystal Orlov! I don't want to sacrifice anyone!" answer Wallace.

"Okay, I agree! What's your plan?" said Edgar.

Wallace smiled at her, though,

"First, remove all the seals, it's in the five corners of your house. In order for me to enter and search for Ruby's Heart, I will find it faster than the human eye. But to execute this plan you can't do it alone. You need someone else to help" he explained.

"Hm .. I understand. Then?" ask Edgar.

"Then take the grandmother away from the house so your friend can sneak in to remove all the seals. After the seal is removed I will go in search of Ruby's Heart and then return it to Ginnevra" replied Wallace.

"I get. But, how do I remove the seal?" ask Edgar again.

"That's the problem, I don't know. Ah wait, I know who can help! Tomorrow you have to go to the Gipsy store, meet a woman named Batilda. He can help" Wallace replied quickly.

"The astrologer ...," muttered Edgar.

"You familiar?" ask Wallace.

"No. Only Eriza has been there. He knew about Ruby's Heart to help Ginnevra as well from the Gipsy seer" Edgar answered.

"Then you have to go there!" wallace.

"Yes, I'll be there tomorrow! Even though I don't really believe the fortune teller!" reply Edgar because he had no choice.

"You don't have time to think you should believe it or not! You still have to do it" Wallace warned.

"Yes, I know. Thanks for helping!" said Edgar. He just started walking a few steps. But he stopped.

"One more problem, I don't intend to interfere in your dealings with Eriza. But, I hope your problems are over soon. I'll be back tomorrow!" edgar said, then he left Dixie Holly.
