Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

Rainbow Blanketed Clouds
Is This Fair?

The rainbow still froze as if unable to give an answer. Zidan's so demanding questions kept him glued to the spot. To the end all I said was, "Sweet brother, Deck!"

"Don't lie, brother!" lirih the young man.

With a thin smile, Rainbow looked at his sister. “We talk while sitting down, yuk!”

The rainbow glanced at the husband who was still lying on the bed. After confirming that the Clouds were completely sound, Rainbow led Zidan towards the television room downstairs. Before talking about anything, he first made warm tea for his sister.

“Drink first the tea.”

Zidan looked reluctant. He was still upset because he felt lied to by his brother, and Rainbow was well aware of the look on his sister's face.

"Now Brother story. Nothing is covered! I'm sure Big Brother isn't happy." Zidan said with great emphasis.

The rainbow smiled again. He shook his head slowly. “Zidan, you know, that happiness for a wife is shelter at her husband's house.”

“But what kind of happiness, Brother?” A demanding question that made the Rainbow feel guilty.

Some days bearing the status as the wife of a man named Cloud Vishnu Dewanto, what kind of happiness did he get? On the contrary, it is only the pain that he reaps from the match.

“A husband who left his wife to get drunk? Or a husband who reveals secrets in front of others and says he loves another woman?”

Rainbow eyeball suddenly watery hearing Zidan's speech. “What do you mean?”

Seeing the puddles in his brother's eyes, Zidan felt a sudden, stabbing pain. Disappointed, angry and sad mixed into one.

“I heard my husband said he didn't love my sister. I see with my own eyes he's having fun, getting drunk and forgetting his wife."

The rainbow heart is getting stifling. There's a bloody pain there. Cloud's intimate photo with another woman is back in his memory. He realized that one day the clouds would leave him for another woman.

“Come, Brother! We'll just go home.” Again Zidan tried to persuade.

However, the rainbow refused. “Until this second, sister is still the wife of Mas Awan, and it would be a sin for a wife to leave the house without her husband's permission.”

"Son't what to do, Deck? Problems in the household, should be solved by husband and wife alone. No need to be exposed to others."

A sentence that managed to tear down Zidan's ego. True said Rainbow, even though he was a sister, but should not be too involved in her brother's household.

Zidan sipped a warm tea which made his mind become calmer. He began to control his anger.

"Sister, can I ask you something?"

"What?"

“I've read one verse that explains that a good woman will mate with a good man too. But why is Kak Pelangi the opposite? Why did God choose Kak Awan's soul mate for Kak Pelangi?”

The rainbow rubbed the melted crystal grains on his cheek. “Kakak also had time to think like that. Yesterday, I was disappointed."

Zidan was silent as he stared fixedly at his brother's face.

"But after he asked for guidance with the prayer of Istikharah, he found a belief that Mas Awan was God's chosen soul mate. And if deeply lived, there is actually not the slightest flaw in His destiny. God's destiny in giving a soul mate must be fair. It is the human mind that sometimes fails to interpret.”

“But what about Kak Pelangi? Brother Awan is not a good man, and this is not fair to Brother!”

"Awlton ... Behind the trials of the opposite pair, there will be wisdom that is the secret of God. Not all forms of justice from God can be measured by human tastes and desires."
