Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

Rainbow Blanketed Clouds
I'm Sorry!

"I'll talk to him later." With tenderness Rainbow caressed her husband's face to unravel the man's annoyance.

The clouds responded with a nod of the head.

"I'm sorry about him, Hubby. Mary is actually a very nice woman. He just needs guidance to perfect his masterpiece. I'm sure he has no ill intention of opening his aurat in people's homes. All was purely due to his incomprehension of the aurat. He still thinks the hijab is just a headdresser."

"You're too naive, honey." The clouds caressed the top of his wife's head. "If you are like this, you will be easily used by others."

"Hubby, I wouldn't have brought anyone else into our house if I didn't know him well. Anyway Maryam is no more than one night in our house. I don't want to put prejudice first. Qadarullah, we were met in studies and he was in trouble. God willing, there is a good purpose behind the meeting."

The clouds take a deep breath. He felt the rainbow had a point. "God willing."

"Hopefully she was quickly reunited with her husband. As a fellow woman, I really pity her."

The clouds kissed his wife's forehead. More and more just fall in love with the softness and sincerity of the Rainbow.

You are a special woman, my dear.

"Now take a shower, yes. I'll go downstairs to prepare breakfast."

The rainbow went downstairs after talking about Maryam. His view examines the entire house that looks neater, as well as the granite floor that is still wet. Looks like Maryam just cleaned the house.

From where he stood, Rainbow looked at Maryam who was busy arranging food at the dining table. The long-haired woman immediately turned her head when she heard the sound of footsteps approaching.

"Are you awake?" mary said with a friendly smile at the corner of her lips. "I've made breakfast."

Rainbow approached Maryam who had finished arranging the breakfast menu.

"You're bothered, I should have done it, you're a guest in this house."

"It's okay. Besides, I don't feel good about hitching a ride and doing nothing. At least I can repay your kindness with my strength. Oh yeah, I did everything I could with the ingredients in the fridge."

The rainbow nodded while commenting on the thin smile, noticing Maryam who was only wearing a nightgown with unraveled hair.

"Emh Maryam, why don't you come out of the room wearing a hijab?"

Getting the question, Maryam seemed still relaxed with a fluffy smile. "Silky. It's still in the house."

Maryam rubbed her long hair. Then he looked down embarrassed afterwards, making Rainbow rub his best friend's shoulder.

"Mar, the hijab is not just a head covering, but to keep you away from the savage stares of men."

Instantly a clear liquid pooled in the woman's eyeball.

"I'm sorry, Rainbow. I get it now. I'll wear it."

Without saying much, Maryam immediately returned to the room to clean up. The rainbow waited for a while, but Maryam did not leave the room.

He also chose to follow. Just about to knock on the room door, Maryam had already opened it first.

The rainbow looked at Maryam's eyes and believed the woman was crying. "What's wrong with you, Mar?"

"I'm fine." He tried to put out his best smile.

"Oh yes, there's actually something I want to talk to you about" said Rainbow making Maryam nod her head.

“What's up?”

"We're just talking inside?"

Maryam nodded, then sat down on the edge of the bed with the Rainbow.

“Mar, earlier I was sorry. It seems, my husband disagreed that you stay here for a few days. You know, slander can happen and we have to avoid it.”

Mary was silent as if thinking of something. “I understand, Rainbow. I'm so not good to have to trouble you guys.” He was embarrassed, feeling a burden.

"It's not a hassle, really. My husband was just worried there would be slander. Take it easy, we will find a comfortable rental house for you. About the cost of living, God willing I will help until you meet your husband.”

A pair of Maryam's eyes again melted the clear liquid on both sides of her cheeks. “Thank you. I really owe it to you.”

"We've been like brothers for a long time. Who else will help each other? Oh yeah, can I know your husband's name? Who knows if Mas Awan can help find information about it."
