Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

Rainbow Blanketed Clouds
What Does It Exist?

The clouds felt a throbbing in his head when he woke up. Drunkenness makes his body feel weak. His eyes were spinning staring at the entire room. The man breathed a sigh of relief after realizing his body was lying in his private room. The clouds stared clockwise at the wall. Time still points at number three.

There was no question in his mind about who was driving him home. Because usually, Ben, the owner of the nightlife where he drinks will ask one of his employees to drive home if drunk.

“But Ben doesn't know my new address yet. Then who drove me home?” The clouds immediately rose and entered the bathroom to wash his face with water. He feels fresher now.

After replacing the shirt and trousers with home-grown clothes, he headed for the kitchen. His throat was dry and itchy from drinking too much.

The clouds were almost blown away when they entered the kitchen. He must have shouted as loud as possible if he did not immediately realize that what he saw was a rainbow. The woman appeared to be still wearing a covered dress complete with her khimar. The thing that makes the clouds feel surprised and sometimes wonder, is not it sultry to use the clothes?

“What's he doing in the kitchen at a clock like this?” He muttered inwardly as he looked at his wife's back. The sound of spoons and forks clashing with each other made Awan sure that his wife was eating. “Why he has a strange habit, eating at this hour.”

The clouds paused his intention into the kitchen and chose a short nap in a long chair. He's going to the kitchen after Rainbow returns to his room. For a moment the guilt felt so real. Coming home drunk definitely makes Rainbow feel scared.

“Do not rainbow did not have time to eat earlier and just eat now.”

A few minutes later, the rainbow finished eating. He cleaned the kitchen before going out. The clouds still lying on the long sofa stared at the back of his wife who was walking towards the stairs. As it passed through the television room, its long khimar got stuck on the branch of an ornamental tree.

The clouds kept staring at him. The rainbow seemed to have difficulty removing the khimarnya stuck. He also became very curious.

“What does a Rainbow look like without that long cloth?” thought.

If the Clouds think the Rainbow will open the outstretched cloth that covers his head, then it's wrong. Despite a little difficulty, the rainbow finally managed to remove the stuck part. The woman seemed to let out a long sigh when she found a small tear.

The clouds again laid down his body while staring at the Rainbow which then disappeared in his view.

..........

In the morning the clouds woke up with a hungry stomach. Usually this early Rainbow is already in the kitchen to make breakfast.

The clouds rushed towards the dining table to take a look. However, unlike usual, the rainbow is invisible in the kitchen.

“Don't-don't he still sleep,” he thought. However, the light bias coming from the back door that opens half indicates the rainbow is in a small garden behind the house.

Sure enough, the woman was watering the plants.

The clouds were still sitting in the kitchen with apples in their hands when the Rainbow came. She was surprised to see her husband sitting in the kitchen. Not as usual.

“You didn't make breakfast?” The question became Cloud's first greeting to his wife that morning.

For the first time, the clouds regretted his words. In fact, he is currently feeling very hungry, to choose to eat apples as a stomach booster. Going out to get breakfast was lazy.

“I mean to you alone. Aren't you having breakfast?”

“No, Mas. It's Thursday, I'm fasting.”

Clouds nod. It's worth it last night the rainbow ate at an hour that for the Clouds was not mealtime. Apparently the rainbow is sahur. “So you fast every Thursday?”

“Monday and Thursday,” replied rainbow.

“Indeed why fast Monday and Thursday?”

“In addition to the month of Ramadan, Monday and Thursday are the days on which the gates of heaven are opened. The charity of men is also examined, so that on both days all who believe will be forgiven of their sins. Except, for those who are hostile.”

“Repanding upside down, yes! You seek reward on Mondays and Thursdays, while I sin every day,” murmured Cloud inwardly.

They were silent for a moment. The rainbow looked at her husband. This was their longest casual chat since they assumed the status of husband and wife. Clouds usually talk and act very cold.

“Oh yes, I'm sorry. I had another drink last night. You must be scared because I came home drunk.”

The silence of the Rainbow seemed to justify all Cloud speech. She was terrified whenever her husband got drunk. Unlike Priska who was used to seeing Clouds drunk.

“By the way, you know the person who drove me home?”

“Know,” answered Rainbow briefly accompanied by a nod of the head. The clouds flinched, his mind immediately glaring in search of answers.

“Who drove me home?”

The rainbow looked at the clouds. This time the sadness was evident in his gaze.

“Zidan.”

An answer that surprised the clouds.
