Awan's car is parked in the courtyard of a cafe. Before picking up Rainbow, he will fulfill an appointment with someone to discuss the ongoing development project.
The automatic glass door opened wide as the Clouds approached. His gaze went around to find a figure sitting casually in the corner of the room with a glass of avocado juice and a laptop in front of him.
“Assalamu’alaikum,” says Clouds say hello.
The still-sitting figure raised his head and instantly smoothed the knee-length span skirt he was wearing. Stand up from her seat and smile thinly. His intuition commanded him not to lend a hand, for it was certain that the man who had just greeted him would not welcome his helping hand. “Wa’alaikumsalam,” the answer is a little nervous.
“Sorry to make a wait. I'm stuck in traffic.”
“It's okay. Please sit!”
The clouds pulled up the chair and sat down before the woman, a little distant, but still comfortable to talk about work.
“How are you doing after the accident?” The friendly woman opened the conversation.
“Alhamdulillah, already better,” replied Cloud. “So what do we want to discuss?”
“Oh yes. Sorry to interrupt your time. But I need to talk about the construction of the hotel.”
“It's okay. What can I help you with, Pris?”
Nervous attitude is still clearly visible to Priska, despite trying to be as normal as possible.
“This is about the top floor that I wanted to make a suite room. But, I changed my mind. I guess I'll just make it a penthouse. What do you think?”
“Good idea, hell,” sahut Relaxing clouds.
“For its interior design I will trust you.”
The clouds agree.
They spent an hour talking about the project. Priska felt a huge change in her ex-boyfriend. The clouds are still friendly, but the attitude is flat and cold.
“How's your wife doing?” Finally, the discussion about work turns to personal problems.
Smiling clouds. “Alhamdulillah, she's good.”
Priska nodded with a faint smile. “Thank God. Fill in?” A question that creates a thin wrinkle in the thick eyebrows of the Clouds.
“Fill? What does it mean, yes?”
A small rarity sounded from Priska's lips. It is undeniable that he misses the face of the clouds that sometimes look innocent when in a state of confusion. “I mean, is Rainbow already pregnant?”
Another attempt at me! added inwardly.
“May you guys quickly get momongan.”
“Aamiin. Thanks, Pris,” reply Cloud. "You too, may you meet a good mate."
Priska pulled out a glass of juice and placed her lips on the end of the straw. Every now and then he glanced at the Clouds who had since come continuously lowered his gaze and focused on the image on the laptop screen.
"I hope the construction is completed soon. After this project, maybe I'll move to Germany." Highlight Priska's eyes turned to Cloud after finishing her sentence. Waiting for what the former will react to. However, what he found instead disappointed him, because the Clouds seemed ordinary.
"God willing, my team will work even harder."
"All right, I trust you with everything."
"You didn't even ask me why I wanted to go" he murmured inwardly.
Adzan's voice reverberated into the long talk breaker. The clouds glanced at the figure pointed by the short needle of the watch that was coiled around his wrist. He was silent for a while, waiting for the Adzan to finish.
“Then the prayer time of ashar. You still have something to say?”
“No more. Thank you for taking the time.”
“Sama-sama. Sorry yes, I'm first.”
Unknowingly Priska reached out to shake. However, Clouds quickly clenched his hands in front of his chest, making Priska look down with a reddened face. "Sorry."
“It's okay. Assalamu’alaikum.”
“Wa'alaikumsalam. Emh, send greetings to Rainbow, yes.”
The clouds published a thin smile accompanied by a nod of the head. "Let me tell you. See you soon."
The man left Priska. Exit the cafe towards a mosque located right on the right side of the glass-walled building, unaware of the existence of someone who had noticed it from a distance.
While Priska was still glued to her seat, looking at the back of the man who once ruled her heart without leaving empty space. Did not feel the clear liquid escaped to see the cloud was purifying itself with ablution water and then entered the mosque.
“Awan ... I am sad because I mean nothing to you anymore. Not even once do you want to look at me. But I'm glad to see you change for the better. May you always be happy.”
