Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

More than two months ago, Awan underwent treatment in hospital. During that time, the rainbow never left him for more than three hours. He only occasionally returned home to make his husband's favorite food, which sometimes lost appetite due to saturation undergoing a series of treatments and therapies.  

Even Awan once despair and give up his condition, but Rainbow is always able to instill positive thoughts that are able to arouse the spirit of her husband. 

And today, Clouds has been declared improved and has been allowed to go home by doctors. The rainbow was stuffing some clothes into a suitcase, when Sofie's mother and Fery's father came. 

Seeing her son's condition getting better, Sofie's mother was unable to hide her happiness. Over and over again he hugged the Rainbow as a form of his gratitude. The daughter-in-law who was once rejected and considered unworthy has been caring for the Clouds with patience. 

Before returning home, Fery and Rainbow's father took care of the administration first. While the Clouds wait with Sofie's mother in the room. 

“Woman, for a while you will stay with your father and mother until your condition is completely restored. You're just the two of you at home, sorry Rainbow must bother to take care of you alone,” said Bu Sofie. 

Since knowing the plan to return the Clouds, he had moved his son's room from the second floor to the first floor to make it easier, because the Clouds have not been able to walk on their own without aids. Allowing the Clouds to live in their own homes as parents felt heavy. 

“Thank you, Mom. But me and Rainbow have talked about it before. For a while we will stay at the house of Father Ahmad.”  

The cloud's rejection reaction made Sofie's mother angry. However he hoped the Clouds would stay with them for a while. “You want to stay at Rainbow parents' house?”

“Iya, Mom. I need a lot of guidance to be able to steady myself for the Rainbow. And the home of his parents is the right choice.” 

“You sure?” tanyakanya. Given that his house does not have facilities like in his house. “Do not wait until your condition is better first?”  

“Insyaa Allah sure, Ma'am. There is no wrong time to learn” 

Although feeling sad, Mother Sofie still supports her son's decision. What matters to him now is that the Clouds are happy with the Rainbow wherever they are.

The return of Rainbow and Clouds was welcomed happily by the family of Ahmad's father. To welcome her daughter-in-law, Mother Humairah made her favorite food of the Clouds. 

After dinner, they had a casual chat in the living room. The clouds felt very grateful, because after all the mistakes he had made against the Rainbow, his family-in-law still accepted it with open arms. 

Not even a little bit they bring up all the mistakes of the Cloud. He was worried and embarrassed when he arrived home. 

“Iya, Mum.” The rainbow helped Cloud stand up and pin the stick between her husband's armpits. 

“I first break, Mom, Dad.” 

“Please Nak Clouds.” 

All the way to the room, the Clouds kept looking at the Rainbow. There was a faint smile on his lips.

Upon arrival in the room, the Rainbow helps the Clouds to sit down, then puts his cane beside the bed.

“Mas want to change clothes first?” 

Clouds nod.

His gaze continued to follow where his wife's steps were. The rainbow pulled the suitcase belonging to the Clouds near the closet. He took out all the clothes and put them into the empty part, then took out a pajama suit. 

“This is his pajama.” The rainbow put the pajamas next to the husband.

“Aided by changing clothes? Yesterday at the hospital he was helped. Now I forget how to change clothes myself.” 

It felt like the rainbow wanted to disappear right then and there.
