Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

Rainbow Blanketed Clouds
Compromise!

“This who's cooking, how good does it taste?” ask Bu Sofi. Not usually he felt the breakfast menu as good as this at home.

Bik Minah poured apple juice into a glass. He moved in front of the master. “That's a ripe Rainbow Mbak, Mom. Very early in the morning Mbak Pelangi has been to the kitchen.” The alert attitude of BIK Minah was immediately apparent when the employer looked at her with a frown on the forehead.

"Roved rainbow?"

“Sorry, Sir ... I have banned it, but the Pelanginya Ma'am still wants to. Even cooked for here, Ma'am Pelangi made breakfast for Den Awan.”

Fery's father smiled with pride. “Look at it, Mom. I didn't choose the wrong daughter-in-law. Try if Awan married one of your girls, not necessarily as good as Rainbow. You just praise his cooking. Indeed it should be like that of a wife, willing to cook alone for her husband.”

Suddenly, Sofie's mother's face turned upset to hear her husband's words. “Mas deliberately insinuates me, I never cook? What great cooking is, everyone can too!”

“So you can cook, Mom?” ask Daddy fery.

Made Bu Sofie instantly speechless.

Delicious, Mas?" ask Rainbow after seeing the empty plate.

"It's normal!" The cloud answered lightly. Although inwardly praising the delicacy of his wife's cooking, but wholeheartedly still the prestige admitted.

The clouds stared at the rainbow from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head. Recalling yesterday, he had married a foreign girl who was not his type at all. A young girl wrapped in a robe and a veil.

“Can I ask you something?”

Nod the head chosen Rainbow as the answer.

“Why would you marry a stranger?” Rainbow Hearts slumped at the sarcastic question that was thrown from her husband's lips. Everyone including the Clouds must have guessed the same thing, that Rainbow and her family were materialistic girls.

The rainbow stared at the Clouds. “Before I give an answer, may the call be changed? Don't you lo me. I'm not used to it, sorry.”

"Here, a call to protest," cloud grumbled in his heart.

Even though the rainbow sounded very soft, it was so deep that it stuck into his heart. Any wife would want tenderness from her husband. Whether or not there is love between them.

“Ya. I mean, why would you want to be betrothed to a stranger?” The sound of clouds began to sound soft although it was very clear to see the compulsion there. He thought there was no harm in changing the call. After all, there would be no change whatsoever just because of that call.

“All parents would want the best soul mate for their child. I can't go against dad's good intentions.” An answer that made the clouds quiet. He was forced to accept matchmaking with the Rainbow because it was saturated urged.

"I was drunk all night. Sorry if I talk so carelessly."

"It's okay." The rainbow nodded slowly. Something made him quite curious. Last night, the Cloud mentioned a name several times in his sleep. The same name her mother-in-law mentioned last night. "Can I ask you something?"

Clouds nod.

"Who is priska? You were delirious last night saying that name."

Clouds stutter. Inwardly cursing his mouth that even in sleep still called out the name of the person, which he had actually completely forgotten about.

"After hearing me delirious, you should no longer need to ask who he is. Isn't it obvious?" A fairly clear answer that was able to explain Priska's position and eventually stretched the distance between the couple.

 "Can I help you?"

The cloud lips lifted up forming a slanted smile. "What can you help? Just so you know, Priska's my ex. We've been together a long time, but I don't like him. Priska was disappointed and chose to go abroad. After that dad forced me to marry you."

"Why not refuse from the beginning?"

Clouds sharp gaze again rained on his wife. "You can ask anyone in this house how I refused. Didn't you see her last night, too?"

Rainbows are back. Silencing herself and disappearing suddenly at their wedding reception is the most obvious form of protest and rejection by the Clouds.

"Because we are both forced, so I think we can compromise each other" continued Awan.

"Compromise?"

"Yes!" abugn. "We're two strangers forced together. I'm just a jerk who likes a rave that must be far from the criteria of your dream husband. I honestly wouldn't be able to be what you expect."

"What kind of compromise will you offer me?"

"For a while we will pretend to be normal husband and wife in the presence of everyone. I don't like my mom or dad meddling in our business. So from tomorrow we'll move into my house."

The rainbow nodded.

"One more thing you should know and I hope you understand."

"What?"

"I love Priska and only her."

The rainbow heart as slashed. The cloud had just declared a hidden wish behind his words.
