Let's eat before we go home, yuk!" bring the Clouds along shortly after leaving the clothing store. In both hands there are already several paper bags containing Rainbow groceries earlier.
"Where do you eat?"
"That's in front of a seafood restaurant. We just eat there. You like seafood no?"
"Anything, Hubby."
"Yes, just eat it there."
A rainbow wrapped her hands around her husband's arms, walking hand in hand towards the restaurant.
The automatic glass door opened wide as the Clouds and Rainbows approached. As always, the Cloud will select a table in the corner adjacent to the window. Because from there, they could see the view of the city that afternoon.
"Good afternoon, what message do you want?" A waitress greeted me with a friendly greeting, then put the menu book on the table. A small notebook and a bolpoint in his hand to record orders.
"Hubby want to order what?" ask Rainbow.
"Just be like you."
After ordering food, the couple chatted a few things. Enjoy the time like a couple on a date.
"Well, Rainbow, Cloud? You guys here?" The sound of the call made the Clouds and Rainbows turn their heads. Right next to their table was Bu Sofie who was sitting with several women his age.
"Mother?" The rainbow flashed a smile, rose straight from his seat and approached the in-laws with a kiss on the back of his hand. "Assalamu'alaikum, ma'am."
"Wa'alaikumsalam, son!" his reply.
"It just so happened to meet here. Mommy's done shopping?"
"No, mom's with friends." The middle-aged woman published a sumringah smile. "You guys have been a long time?"
"It hasn't been so long, Mom. It's waiting for an order."
"Oh .. If so join here, yuk!" bring him.
The rainbow glanced at the few people on the table. He knew that the Clouds would not want to join his mother's friends, what else there were some pretty open dressed girls there.
"No need, Mom. Thank you, I'm the same Cloud at the table next door."
"Yes already, it's okay. Then I'll introduce you to my friends." He looked at his social friends who had been secretly watching the rainbow. "Jeng, this is my man, his wife Awan!" said Bu Sofie introducing her daughter-in-law.
"So this is Cloud's wife?" asked a woman staring at the rainbow from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head.
"Eh, this wasn't the one that was excited about being left in the sewer, was it?" added another woman.
Bu Sofie felt his body cringe at the words of one of his friends. He only realized that some of them were the mothers of girls he had chosen to be a prospective daughter-in-law.
Clouds wedding had indeed become the talk of socialite gang Bu Sofie. Moreover, at the beginning of his son's marriage, he once told his dislike of Fery's father's chosen son-in-law.
"Son, don't take heart, yeah. I'm sorry, mother" whispered Ms. Sofie.
"It's okay, Mom."
Clouds that had been busy playing the phone also caught his attention. Especially after seeing the smile on the Rainbow lips that instantly dimmed.
The man immediately got up from his seat to approach the Rainbow, embracing his waist possessively. "Darling, the order has come. Eat yuk, keep us home."
"Yes, Hubby."
The Cloud's extremely gentle attitude towards the Rainbow managed to attract the attention of everyone sitting at that table.
"Sorry, Mom. I went to the next table first" said Rainbow.
"Yes, Son. You are pregnant, eat a lot so that the content is healthy," replied Bu Sofie while rubbing the back of the daughter-in-law.
"Yes, Mom." The rainbow still threw a smile towards her friends-in-law, in contrast to the Clouds who showed a cold demeanor.
As the Clouds had brought the Rainbow back to the next table, some of Bu Sofie's friends seemed to whisper to each other. "It's better now, Jeng? Jeng Sofie used to say the Awan didn't like his father's wife."
"It used to be, but now they're happy" he said quickly.
"Oh so. Kirain ...."
"Alhamdulillah, my husband did not choose a mistress. Rainbows are beautiful, pray again," he praised with pride as he glanced at his friend's daughter. "Try if the wedding cloud is the same as one of the girls I chose yesterday, it can be more and more not my child."
And, the sharp speech of Bu Sofie managed to silence his friends.
