Rainbow Blanketed Clouds

Rainbow Blanketed Clouds
It's Takes Time

Thunder felt a faint feeling on all parts of his body. His sturdy back was leaning against the wall in the corner of the room. Staring at the weak body of the wife by pinning hope on the doctor who was trying to save his life.

The feeling of frustration further bent the man's mind when staring at the line on the heartbeat detector that still looks straight.

“We try once again!” said one doctor, who then attached a heart shock device to the chest of the patient.

Thunder's eyes closed tightly, along with the clear liquid flowing in the corner of his eyes. He was about to give up, but a straight line on the monitor screen that suddenly showed a wave fostered a glimmer of hope in his heart.

“Alhamdulillah.” Everyone was heard calling for that word. In that corner, Thunder let out a long breath.

After making sure Maryam's condition was stable enough after the doctor's treatment, Thunder came out of the room and chose to sit leaning on the waiting room chair. His heart was filled with gratitude.

Before long, the clap that landed on his back scattered the man's daydream. Thunder looked up to stare at the figure approaching him. Tarmac ..."

“How's Maryam?” ask Umi who then sat by her son's side.

“Alhamdulillah, it is stable, Umi.” Thunder took a long breath. They just went through the most worrying moments.

Umi also gave thanks by clenching her hands in front of her chest.

“Aalhamdulillah's. May Mary recover quickly. Umi has also spoken to Rainbow and her husband."

Thunder glanced at her um with a guilt-ridden look. "Sorry, Umi. I've put Umi and Abah to shame."

"Umi understands your situation. Thankfully, for Mary's sake, Rainbow will cancel its intention to report you.”

Thunder gasped and did not expect Cloud to be kind after all his evil deeds. “It's okay if they want to report. It was all my fault.”

“Therefore, after Maryam improved, we go to the Rainbow house to apologize equally.”

“Soal angry or not, that's business later. The important thing is that you are sincere and promise not to repeat.” Umi rubbed his son's shoulder again. “Now you have to fix everything. After Maryam recovers, let's go back to Malaysia. You get the right treatment until you get well and start everything with Maryam.”

“Insyaa Allah, Umi. May Maryam forgive.”

...........

The morning ....

Not a word had been said from Maryam's lips after she woke up last night. Nor did he see a puddle of tears after knowing the painful reality, that the prospective baby could not be saved.

“You want to eat something?” tawar Thunder.

Maryam only answered with a head, without a sound. The thing that made Thunder choose to pull the chair to sit next to the woman and clasped her hands.

“I'm sorry, I realize a lot wrong. Do you still want to give me a chance?”

Quiet down! There is no word from Mary. The woman did not even look at her husband for a second. Until the door of the room opens, bring up umi and abah.

Umi who last night got news from Guntur that her daughter-in-law had been rumbling impatiently waiting for the morning to ascertain Maryam's condition. The middle-aged woman immediately hugged Maryam with a melt of tears.

“You're patient, son. God will replace every loss with a better plan,” umi rubbed Maryam's back.

“Iya, Umi.” The short answer became the first sound to come out of Maryam's mouth since it came to light. Thunder looked at him.

He realized, Maryam might need time to forgive.
