Fery's father stood up leaving his seat when he saw Zidan coming out of a room with his shirt sleeves rolled up to the elbow limit. The tip of his left index finger appeared to be pressing a small cotton swab in the right arm fold.
He patted the young man's shoulder. “Zidan, thank you for your help, son. This means a lot to Om.”
Zidan smiled sincerely, as if there was no burden on his face. “It's okay, Om. I'm sincere.”
“Om don't know how to repay your kindness.”
“If Om and family would like to reply, please treat my brother well. That's enough.” Zidan glanced at the still faithful rainbow standing in front of the glass window with a gaze pointed into the room. “He does look strong on the outside, but inside is very fragile.”
Fery's father lowered his head. The sad outline of her face was enough to describe her immense guilt and shame. After all, it is he who feels responsible for the bad attitude of his son and wife towards their son-in-law.
“Zidan, forgive aunt for all words aunt. Aunty realized that it hurt the feelings of you and your parents, especially Rainbow,” shrewd Bu Sofie full of regret.
“It's okay, Auntie. I also apologize.”
Bu Sofie was downcast, Zidan's kindness and Rainbow patience had opened his eyes. He then stepped closer to the rainbow. Then, without saying a word hugged his daughter-in-law.
Sobs filled the room again. "I'm sorry mom, Rainbow! You're wrong a lot with me."
...........
The clouds lay unconscious with several medical devices attached to his body. Rainbow heart like slashed to see the condition of the husband who was wrapped in bandages in several parts of his body, due to injuries caused from the accident earlier. After a few hours, he did not move from his side. Fery's father had asked her to go home and rest, but Rainbow refused and chose to wait for her husband to wake up.
While Sofie's mother had gone home after several times Fery's father persuaded her. Crying for hours due to shock makes the woman's body weak and needs a lot of rest.
The rainbow grabbed her fingers and kissed the back of her husband's hand. His teary eyes stared at the white skin with a few small scratches around the arm.
“Fakallah, Hubby!” she whispered softly, then spread her head on the same pillow.
Just as his eyes were closed, faintly heard the soft voice of Zidan greeting. “Kak, I'll take you home, yeah. Brother rest, let me take care of Brother Awan here.”
The rainbow looked up at his sister. “Kakak wants to wait for Mas Awan. You're the only one coming home, aren't you going to college tomorrow? You also have to work.”
“Iya, anyway. But it's okay.”
The rainbow grabbed his sister's fingers. “Dek, thank you for your help. Forgive your husband and brother-in-law if there is an oral that makes you hurt.”
With a smile, Zidan shook his head slowly. Pulling a chair and sitting by her brother's side. He took a long breath after. “Not me, but Brother. Sister who feels the most pain here.”
“As you said, this is a form of God's love for brother.”
Zidan nodded with a smile. “Tetaplah istiqomah, Brother. In order to remain prostrate when others are haughty, in order to remain firm in the moment when others collapse, and to remain firm in the moment when others are fragile.”
Zidan tightened his hand. “Once Brother Awan recovers later, we invite him to migrate together. If after that he still chooses the bathil and dump the haq, then Brother also still has another choice.”
........ ...
The rainbow was still asleep when the incense heard a weak moaning sound. Slowly, both eyes opened. She got up when she realized her husband was dead.
Cloud's eyes were still tightly closed, accompanied by a faint sigh from his lips. “Aah .. pain once,” flow.
His hands were not even able to move to touch the painful feet. Only his fingers seemed to be moving weakly.
“Mas Cloud is awake?” The rainbow hands trembled, as well as his voice. Wanting to touch her husband's body, but fearing the Clouds will be in more pain.
"Wait a minute, I'll call the doctor."
The clouds only responded by opening their eyes. The Rainbow Instinct brought itself to immediately run out to call the nurse on guard.
........ ...
The rainbow stood in the corner of the room with fingers squeezing each other. She did not dare to approach and just looked at her husband who was being examined by several doctors.
Fery's father, Sofie's mother, and Ahmad's father and Humairah's mother were also in the same room. They went straight to the hospital as soon as they heard the news that the clouds had awakened.
Occasionally there was the sound of Clouds bellowing and it made the eyes of the Rainbow closed. She felt the same pain every time she heard her husband grimace.
The cloud's eyeballs revolved staring at the one-by-one people in the room. It looks like looking for something.
"Mother ..." Cloud's hand moved as if asking Bu Sofie to come closer, so he slowly stepped forward and welcomed his son's helping hand.
"What's wrong with you, Wan?"
The moans sounded again, making Bu Sofie glance at the doctors. “Doctor, please do something to reduce the pain.”
"Patience, Mom. The doctor must have given his best to the Clouds" persuaded Fery's father.
"Mr ...."
"Yes, Clouds. I hear you, son."
The clouds looked at Bu Sofie, with the two eyebrows intertwined implying pain, then whispered, "Mom .. Please call Priska here!"
