137. Flashes of the Past

Ilena's body bristled at the news which was enough to shock her. Two men are now fighting on the operating table. Ilena asks Dharma to take her to Brazil. Ilena wanted to see Lydia's condition.

Although Ilena hated Red, but hearing the man was hurt, she felt quite pity. Plus all this happened because of a fight between two influential mafia gangs.

Ilena never knew if all this time Lydia was running a mafia business and the black world. Dharma continued to accompany Ilena during the long trip to Rio.

Dharma held Ilena's hand tightly. He kept strengthening the girl. Although he did not know which one was really worried by Ilena. Is it Lydia or Red?

White begins to find out about Ilena's past as well as Ilena's mother's biological family. White discovers an astonishing fact about Ilena's late mother's biological sister.

For the rest of her life she never felt the love of a mother. Same with Ilena. Finally White found her real mother who she thought was dead.

Aunt Ilena is her real mother. Among the many women in this world, why did White have to connect with Ilena as a brother?

White did not want to believe all these facts. But he eventually chose not to be selfish. Ilena has to live with her family.

And White finally also found his old friend, Steven Howard or now better known by the name Steven Dharma. Dharma and Lydia live in Bali, Indonesia.

White contacts Lydia and informs her that she is currently with Ilena, Lydia's niece. White did not name her family. He just said his name was Andrew.

Miris because she had to let go of Ilena. Plus they are cousins.

White tried wisely by asking Dharma for help in order to keep Ilena. White also sought information about Dharma, who was also traumatized by his wife's death.

White felt that Ilena and Dharma had the same pain. White persuaded Dharma who had already closed the door of her heart to any woman.

White reassures Dharma if he will definitely be interested in Ilena who has a pretty face and shady eyes. White sent Ilena a photo several times.

Ilena and Dharma arrive at Rio de Jeneiro hospital. They met with White. Ilena hugged White.

"What happened to Aunt Lydia?" asked Ilena with her sobs.

White summarized Ilena's face. She wiped Ilena's tears.

"Your aunt must be fine. He has gone through his critical period. We just have to wait for him to wake up" explained White.

"Thank God! Can I meet him?" ask Ilena.

"Of course I can. Come!" White invites Ilena to enter an intensive room.

In the room were lined with several people who were still unconscious with tools attached to their bodies. Ilena walked past several patient gurneys.

White took him to see Lydia. Ilena covered her mouth holding back her cries seeing Lydia's condition. His body was about to collapse and White caught him immediately.

"Auntie.." said Ilena. He doesn't want to lose his family anymore. If Lydia were to also leave then she would be completely alone in this world.

White hugged Ilena tightly. After the girl calmed down, White spoke again.

"He'll be fine. He's a mafia boss, he's not gonna do anything."

Ilena tried to smile. "Hopefully, Doctor White."

"Hmm, Ilena. Do you want to see Red?"

"Well?!" Ilena was quite surprised by White's question.

"Battle is inevitable. I don't know who started it. And now they're just as hurt."

Ilena lowered her face. Red was a man who had already incised deep wounds for him. Does he still have a little bit of sympathy for Red?

"If you're not willing to meet him, that's fine. Comeing! We need to get out because we're not allowed to stay here for too long."

Ilena nodded.

White grabbed onto Ilena's shoulder and walked past several others. In a quiet room, only the sound of medical devices installed in the body of the patients.

Ilena heard someone call her name. He looked at White.

"W-is that Red?" asked Ilena with teary eyes.

White nodded. Since the operation was declared successful, Red kept calling Ilena's name but her eyes kept getting shut.

"Will you see him?" pinta White's.

White accompanied Ilena to see Red's current condition. Ilena saw a man lying down with some tools attached to his body. His eyes were closed but his lips kept muttering a name.

Despite hating her, Ilena still felt the heart of not seeing Red who was already helpless. Ilena turned around and left the intensive room.

Dharma approached Ilena who was walking away crying.

"Miss!" call Dharma but Ilena continues to walk until she arrives at the hospital garden.

Ilena sat on the long bench there. He beat his chest which felt tight. I don't know what feelings Ilena is feeling right now.

Dharma sat down beside Ilena. The girl embraced Dharma and cried there. Dharma rubbed Ilena's back gently. Surely this girl had a flash of the past that was enough to make her claustrophobic.

White asks Dharma to take Ilena to her apartment to rest. They had just traveled a long way and surely their bodies were tired as well.

Dharma led Ilena into the room.

"You want to clean yourself up first?" ask Dharma.

Ilena nodded. Dharma left her so that the girl could freely rest.

The next day, Ilena woke up and was quite surprised. He was afraid of being in bed for too long.

Ilena wants to go to the hospital again and see Lydia's condition. Although he is not sure will be mentally strong when he meets Red again later.

Ilena came out of the room neatly and greeted Dharma. The man was cooking in the kitchen.

"Good morning, Miss! I thought you'd wake up tomorrow, Miss."

Ilena laughed a little. "I thought I'd do it again, too."

"How do you feel, Miss?"

Ilena was silent for a moment. "It's better" he replied later.

"Goodoo. Now sit down and eat!"

Ilena smiled. He noticed the Dharma very painstakingly treating him. Though their marriage was just pretend, that was how Ilena thought. And all he knew was that Dharma should behave like a husband when they were in Indonesia. There is no need to cover up the relationship even if they are not married.

Ilena ate voraciously and made Dharma pull the corner of her lips. So greedy, Ilena forgot that what she ate was cream cheese soup that made her lips dirty with yellow stains there.

Dharma moved from her seat and moved to a chair near Ilena. He took a tissue and rubbed Ilena's lips.

Again Ilena was stunned by the warm attitude of Dharma.

"You're like a child, miss. Your meal is a mess" Dharma said as she gently wiped Ilena's lips.

Ilena stared fixedly at the face of Dharma who was so close to her. Those blue eyes, the sharp curvature of the nose, the sturdy jaw overgrown with a little fine fur. Everything fascinated Ilena.

"Eat again! After that we go to the hospital," said Dharma who had not realized that Ilena was looking at him.

"Dharma." i..."

Dharma who was about to return to his chair turned to Ilena who was looking at him. Dharma liked Ilena's gaze that was pacifying.

Dharma's hand stretched out and rubbed Ilena's cheek. "Why is your face flushed?"

"Eh?" Ilena shy. So shy. He lowered.

"Don't bow your face. I like it when you blush."

Ilena looked back into the Dharma's eyes. So too with that guy.

Ilena's hand was raised and touched the Dharma's burly hand that was still caressing her face.

"Thank you, Dharma" said Ilena quietly.

"I'm the one who's grateful. You've raised my confidence again, Ilena."

For the first time Dharma did not use the word 'mona' when calling Ilena.

Ilena smiled. They are there and strengthen each other. Trying to get rid of the pain they have had in the past.

Ilena closed her eyes. He wanted to start all this feeling back. The feeling he had buried deep in the bottom of his heart.

Dharma is approaching. Ilena felt a calm and heavy breath of Dharma.

Sweet. That was all Ilena could feel when something touched her lips. It is the lips of Dharma, of course.

Ilena opens access to Dharma. Yeah, he'll start all over. And that is with Dharma. Ilena was sure of that.

The past strikes back. Dharma wanted to pull her body because she knew Ilena's body was starting to tremble. But Ilena brought him closer. He stretched his hand to the Dharma's neck.

Bringing the Dharma closer to him. Ilena got up from her seat and climbed into the lap of Dharma. The link is still ongoing. They face each other and taste.

Ilena is weak. He is still afraid of everything. But now he wants to be brave. Dare to face his past. All the past will remain the past. Ilena managed to conquer it.

Ilena started to pull away. His breath went up and down. He is still sitting on the lap of the Dharma with his hands still wrapped around the neck of the Dharma.

Dharma held their heads together. He knew that this girl was trying to treat her trauma.

"Last away! Don't force yourself!" dharma lirih.

Ilena nodded. He embraced the Dharma. That guy won't lose either. The body of Ilena who was very close to him immediately he approached. He kissed Ilena's neck gently.

"Thank you, Ilena." whispered in Ilena's ear.
