53. Freeing Black

The silence now filled the atmosphere on the street where Rose was. There was neither the sound of a car passing by nor the sound of someone around. Rose's hands fumbled to get out of the car.

Rose finally stood on the street and got out of the car. He felt the silence in that place.

"Where is this actually? Why so quiet?" inner Rose.

Rose was trying to walk down that street. His feet stumbled and fell. He felt what made him fall.

"Let's!" rose shouted as it turned out to be someone's corpse. Must have been one of the shootout victims.

Rose shuffled and hugged her knees.

"Please! Help me!" scream Rose. He hoped someone would help him.

Santa returns home with a thump. He was surprised that the door of the house was unlocked. He went into the house and called Eryn and Rose.

Santa started to panic because he found nothing in the house. Instantly he remembered the surveillance cameras installed at some point. He also checked it.

Santa plays back the footage before Eryn and Rose disappear. He rolled his eyes in disbelief.

"They're kidnapped!" lirih Santa's.

For a moment his brain could not think clearly. Eventually, he decided to contact Carlos.

Santa told me everything in detail including what was recorded on the surveillance camera. He hopes Carlos can help him here and he's not alone.

Carlos was silent after getting a call from Santa. Luckily they were still at the headquarters and had not yet left for Black Prison.

"What's up, Carlos?" asked Luiz who saw Carlos' pale face.

"Rose and Eryn were kidnapped" he said.

"WHAT?!" Everyone is surprised.

"We must have lost it, Carlos," said Agli.

"I didn't expect that they would find my house" Luiz said.

Carlos remained silent and thought.

"What should we do? Is this Eric's doing?" ask Frans.

"Umm, just like this. Agli, Bernard and Luiz. You guys go back home and track all the surveillance cameras along the road that the van was on. I'm sure we can definitely find traces of them" Carlos explained.

"alright. Come on!" Luiz, Agli and Bernard left immediately.

"We'll release Black soon. Get ready!" Carlos looked at Caesar, Frans and David alternately.

Caesar was still fiddling with his flat screen. He has the idea to do this. They're gonna break into the prison where Black's being held. He's hacked all the doors in that prison.

"How, Caesar? Is it done?"

"I guess already. You just follow my instructions and I'll open the door from here."

"okay! Let's go! Even if it's just the three of us, we have to be confident in our strength" Carlos said.

"May it work!" caesar is encouraging.

Luiz, Agli and Bernard arrived home. Santa immediately retold what happened.

Bernard immediately hacked all the surveillance cameras along the road in the van carrying Rose and Eryn. He found his point.

But they could not arrive at a place, because the car deliberately took a quiet road that was not installed by surveillance cameras there.

"alright. Agli and I will be there. You guys just wait here!" luiz.

Agli nodded and immediately left in Luiz's car. Do not forget they prepared a complete weapon in order to paralyze the opponent.

Arriving on a fairly deserted road, Agli and Luiz immediately got out of the car. He saw a van that had been driven by Rose and Eryn.

"This is the car! I'm sure of it" said Agli.

They found no one and only saw bodies strewn across the street.

"We're late. Looks like someone else took them," Luiz regretted.

Agli was looking around the streets. His eyes caught a camera mounted in front of the car.

"Luiz, let's check the surveillance cameras on this car." Agli got into the car and retrieved the memory card attached there.

Luckily the little thing was still there. Agli immediately opened his smart tablet and inserted the memory card.

They managed to get the car surveillance camera footage. It seems some people brought Eryn alone. They didn't bring Rose.

Before long they see Rose walking for cover. With Rose's condition that can't see, making it difficult to walk. Rose managed to get out of the place.

"We follow where Rose goes. I'm sure he's still not far from here" Luiz said.

Agli nodded and immediately gasped down the road that Rose might have crossed.

Black sat quietly in his cell. His mind was clashing with all the possibilities that could have happened to him.

Soon footsteps approached Black's cell. Someone was standing in front of Black's cell.

Black, knowing the arrival of a guest, stood up and faced the man.

"Finally we met too, Ruiz Kozac" Black said.

Yeah, actually why Black was willing to be arrested was to be able to meet Kozac. He is a mafia kingpin who is now in prison for many crimes he committed. Included in the distribution of illegal drugs that are not registered.

Kozac was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was arrested seven years ago. Long before Black was a member of Amigo. But Black has heard Kozac lunge in the black world.

"I didn't think you had the guts to meet me" Kozac replied.

Black smiled a grin.

"You don't know who you're dealing with, Black. You don't even know anything about your best friend."

Black rounded his eyes.

"Eric had already plunged into this world long before you. He looks good in people's eyes, but he's actually very cunning and cruel."

Black listened carefully to everything Kozac said.

"He even planned to kill you in order to get the woman he loved. Don't you ever think this was all the plan? You're too stupid, Black. Even when you chose to be here, Eric took your woman first. You just wait for the news! Eric will tell you soon!"

Black clenched his hand. "If we hadn't been confined to these bars, then I would have beaten you!"

Unexpectedly, the iron bars that blocked them opened to make Black and Kozac meet in person. Black immediately floated his raw bogem towards Kozac. The man of half a century fell but quickly rose.

There were two people who were with Kozac. They attacked Black. There was a fight inside the prison cell. No one dared to break up because this was all planned by Eric. He asks Kozac and his men to kill Black in prison.

Black who was only alone was unable to fight against those two big-bodied men. Both of his arms were held by the men while Kozac beat Black's body.

Black groans in pain. His face was bruised and blood came out of his mouth. Kozac picked up a knife he had prepared.

Black's eyes began to twitch. His mind was only on Eryn's face, smiling at him. He must be strong in order to meet Eryn.

As Kozac swung his hand towards Black's stomach, there was suddenly the sound of consecutive gunshots. Both Kozac's men take refuge with Kozac and release Black. Black's body staggered and fell to the floor.

Carlos, Frans and David entered and made the atmosphere even more chaotic. Carlos approached Black's sprawled body.

"Black!" Carlos lifts Black's body.

Frans and David are now confronted by Kozac's two men. They also fight. While Carlos held Black while brandishing his weapon.

"Car.los..." Black's voice sounded soft.

"Calm down! We're gonna get you out of here!"

The bullet in Carlos' gun is gone. Carlos is now facing Kozac. The middle-aged man still had enough strength to fight.

Carlos fights Kozac one on one. Kozac brandished his penknife and Carlos did not bring anything. But with his shrewdness, Carlos managed to drop the knife in Kozac's hand. Now they fight without weapons and rely only on their own strength.

Although Carlos was younger than Kozac, but the old man could not be underestimated. He managed to make Carlos fall and now Kozac freely beat Carlos.

Looking at the helpless Carlos, Black limped to pick up the knife that had fallen on the floor. He walked forward and stabbed Kozac in the back.

The man turned around and looked at Black fiercely. Black stabs Kozac in the stomach. Kozac's body fell. Black immediately helps Carlos to wake up.

Frans and David defeated two of Kozac's men, though they were also wounded.

"Come, we gotta get out!" said David.

With each other shoulder to shoulder they walked out of the place before the prison officers arrived. And sure enough, some officers came and stopped their steps for a moment.

David returns to retrieve the weapons and fights them. They finally managed to get out but were again surrounded by the officer's car.

"How's this, Black?" ask Carlos.

"Where's your car?" ask Black.

It turned out that the car that was carrying the three men had been burned by officers.

"Damn! How should we?" lamented Frans.

Suddenly, a black van approaches them. The car door opened and someone shouted from inside.

"Hey, come on in!" yell that guy.

After looking at each other, Black and the others finally got into the car that he did not know.
