88. Eryn's Heart

Eryn and Eldric were on board. They will take a long journey to Mexico. Only five hours had passed and there were still 11 more hours they had to travel.

The sky was dark and many passengers were sleeping. But not with Eryn and Eldric. They were still awake with their hands interlocked.

Eryn looked at her husband full of love. In his heart he gave thanks because the man he loved is still alive today. Although trials after trials hit them. Love can defeat everything. Love always brings them back together.

"You why? What are you thinking?" asked Eldric who saw Eryn was silent.

Eryn. "It's okay. I was just repeating a memory a few years ago."

Eldric tightened his grip. "I'm sorry for what happened these last few years."

Eryn smiled. "All that pain taught me to be strong. I wanted to end my life because I had no one left. And I don't know who to lean on."

Eldric. He must have felt guilty about what happened to Eryn. Pregnant out of wedlock, abandoned by his family, and lost all family assets.

"I'm sorry.." said Eldric.

"But you know, one thing I remember in every breath. I don't know why I'm always so sure you're still around me. Breathe the same air as me, and always take care of me."

"My confidence is broken. Because for years you never showed up. I was angry. Angry at everything because I have to experience this bitter thing."

Two hours before arriving in Mexico,

Eryn and Noah had just finished their morning meal on the plane. Eldric looked at them gratefully. He can't wait to be with his little family. He also hopes Eryn will soon get pregnant to be more complete their happiness.

"Darling, when you arrive, what do you want to do?" ask Eldric.

"El, I hope you're not angry. Once we get to Mexico, I want to visit the Evans family home. After all, that family is worth enough to my life. Even though Eleanor's aunt doesn't like me, I still think of her as my mother."

Eldric smiles. "I understand. You're a good woman. I don't mind you visiting Eric's family."

"Thank you, El." Eryn wrapped his hands around Eldric's arm.

Upon his arrival in Mexico, Carlos welcomed Eldric and Eryn and Noah. Eldric hugged Carlos. He was happy because Eldric came back with his little family.

"Come, everyone is waiting" said Carlos who helped carry Eldric's luggage.

"Don't tell me you're preparing a surprise party for us? That's not necessary, Carlos. Really am! I don't need a welcoming party" Eryn refused.

"That's it, brother-in-law. Leave everything to us" said David who also picked them up.

"David!" eldric hugged his best friend.

Eryn smiled to see David coming to pick her up.

"Thank you, Dave. How are you and Santa?"

"I was deliberately waiting for you to come home so I could arrange my marriage later."

Eryn chuckles. "You're deliberately looking for a free one, aren't you?"

"Maha." Everyone chuckled at Eryn's joke."

Tonight, Santa and Rose prepare a special dinner for Eryn and Eldric's return. Actually Eryn told me he didn't want these kinds of things. But after being persuaded and urged, he finally agreed as well.

The atmosphere of the Eldric mansion became boisterous with the sound of laughter echoing in the back garden that had been transformed into an area for garden parties. Agli turned on the beat music to add to the atmosphere more shahdu.

Everyone dances and has fun. Eryn was so happy to see the happiness on the faces of his friends. Feelings of relief, happiness and happiness melted into one.

"Are you unhappy?" continued.

Eryn looked at Eldric and summarized his face. "I'm happy, El. I'm glad to see their excitement."

"Then why did you stay away?"

"Come, we're toast!" exclaim David.

Everyone raised their glasses and called out together.

"Return!"

"For the sake of Eryn and Black's happiness!" exciting Carlos.

"For Eryn and Black!" call everything in unison.

Today Eryn has asked Eldric for permission to visit the Evans family home. At least he wanted to thank the family for giving him a place to stay all this time.

Arriving in front of the house, Eryn was still in the car. Eldric looked at the woman he loved. He felt that Eryn was hesitant to see Eleanor.

"Darling, what's wrong?" Eldric clasped Eryn's hand.

The woman was still silent to strengthen her heart.

"If you have any doubt, then..."

"No! I can no longer doubt. I have to face this."

"Mommy! Isn't this Daddy Eric's house?" asked Noah plain.

"What are we here for?" continue the little boy. He knew how Eleanor was treating his mother and himself. There was still a bit of trauma because Eleanor was once going to throw him into an orphanage.

Eryn got out of the car and opened the back door and asked Noah to come down.

"Come, Son! We need to see Eleanor's grandmother" said Eryn.

The little boy frowned.

"Why Mommy? Isn't grandma always mean to Mommy? Why do we have to meet him?"

"Dear, don't talk like that. Eleanor's grandmother was actually a good person, only she could not express her affection. Never hate it, son. Because we are family. Yea?" Eryn aligns his body with Noah to give understanding to his son.

Noah nodded in understanding. He took the hands of his father and mother and walked into the courtyard of the mansion.

Eryn pressed the doorbell of the mansion. He looked at Eldric to give him strength.

Soon, the door lock was turned and the door opened.

Eryn stared at the figure who opened the door for him.
