Second Change
Chapter 14's

Today Cindy was waiting for me at the campus gate. I got off the car of the grumpy man I just found out his name was David. Without saying thank you or saying goodbye, I immediately closed the car door and ran a little toward Cindy who had opened her arms wide ready to embrace me.

"What happened last night? Me and Jay's sister are worried about you." Cindy handed me the bag left at Jay's house.

Along the way to class, I told Cindy about last night. Especially about that angry man named David. And his little sister is getting married to Tony.

"You're my brother's girlfriend? What's your name?" asked David's sister this morning in the dining room.

"Eh.. Lia. Amelia." I replied nervously.

"I'm Emily."

Emily's son is friendly and beautiful, brunette shoulder-length fits her perfectly. He also has a body slightly taller than mine. His hands were very delicate when I shook with him.

Tony's wife is perfect. In that instant I felt myself as a mere grain of dust. There's no advantage whatsoever that could be Emily's rival,

"So you want to give up?" ask Cindy

I'm shaking. "I feel like Tony still has feelings for me. Maybe he had a reason."

"I'm afraid you'll get hurt." Cindy held my hand tight.

"Let's hear Tony's explanation anyway." insistent on me.

"What about David?"

"I just follow him. Just so you can meet Tony." I said.

Classes went well. I couldn't focus a hundred percent because I was thinking about how I was using David to get to Tony. What if I try to persuade him? If I make it clear, will he melt? Come to think of it I haven't talked much with David. I'll extract information about Tony from him.

Last class today. There have been ten times I glanced at the wall clock. David said he'd pick me up. I wanted to quickly meet David and carry out my intentions.

"Lia. Brother Jay chat. He said your stuff was taken away by David." Cindy showed Jay's chat to me. "It seems David really captivated you."

"I had a plan to persuade him to take me to Tony." I whispered.

The Lecturer glanced at us.

"How is it?" ask Cindy in a soft voice

"Eitherway. Any way I'll try." I replied slowly.

The Lecturer cleared his throat while glaring.

"Thank you please pick me up. We're going to your house?" I asked David in the car.

As usual, he did not answer.

"So you worked? That suit suits you." I tried again.

His face did not change. Keep cooler.

"Your mom is beautiful. She seems happy you have a boyfriend. Have you ever dated before?"

The car stopped because of the red light.

"I'm hungry." I said.

"What do you want to eat?" he finally answered.

"I want to eat rawon. Because Tony likes it." I replied.

He snorted with a sullen face.

"Tony doesn't like to eat what?" ask after a few minutes.

"Then we eat kwetiau."

Laughter disappeared. I don't know what that means. Is that how confident he is with Tony? I still remember he almost beat up Tony.

"You hate Tony?" my many.

He didn't answer.

"Tony is not evil. You know, for a year he stayed at my house he helped me a lot. I'm sure you've never been to a traditional market. But Tony buys groceries every day for my sale in the market. He also learned to cook. Learn to do homework. Anyway he was diligent and very reliable. If you are free, he likes to sit on the terrace singing while playing the guitar. Sound's good. I have the tape. Later if my phone is in cas, I'll show you."

I glanced at David whose face looked tense. A familiar face. It means he's angry.

"Tony too..."

"Can you shut up?" her hardness

"Can't." my opponent.

"Tony also made my dream come true. Now I just know why I can seamlessly get into my dream campus. It's all because of Tony. If he doesn't love me, he can't do that. I know our relationships and feelings better than anyone else. So I'm pretty sure that he left me too must have had a reason. One of them is that you forced her to marry your sister." I said emotionally.

David stepped on the brake. Almost hit my head on the windshield. The cars behind us horn furiously. Someone got out of the car and approached us. I'm panicking. David was still silent as he glared forward. Breath snuffling. She's upset. High level of anger. But how is this? People were knocking on our windowpanes while being angry.

"How is this?" I shook my arm in panic. "I'm sorry. I'll shut up. Promise me to shut up."

He looked at me with sharp eyes and then ran his car. Some cars in the back took offense and drove after us. David knows and adds speed.

"You crazy?!" shanky

All the way somewhere, I could only scream, scream and apologize. I don't want to die on the streets. David had not yet lowered his speed even though the car had not chased him.

David finally lowered his speed when entering the residential area. My face was pale and my stomach was nauseous. David got out of the car and hit the door with all his might. As a result, my ears hurt. He opened my door and dragged me out. My legs are limp but he doesn't care about me who almost tripped.

Aunt Nia looked worried "What's the matter? Non Lia okay?"

"It's okay. Just prepare dinner for us." he said, then stopped his steps right in front of the stairs. "If only I could have him pale in color."

David dragged me into the room. Again my hand hurt from his grasp. He pushed me against the wall. His face was red with anger, his eyes were bulging and full of threats. His face is so close and honestly I'm scared right now. I trembled and cold sweat began to pour out. He was still silent and I did not dare to say a word. I was afraid he would clench his fist and hit me. With his burly body, maybe I'll die instantly in the second blow. I was horrified to imagine it.

I am, after all, his prisoner. I should have been more obedient. When he told me to shut up, I was quiet. I was scared to death before I met Tony. Or I wouldn't have found Tony if I had a battered face.

"Ma.. Sorry." I said trembling. My tears came out unconsciously.

"You have a month to forget Tony." he ordered.

"Ga, I can't." I replied. The next moment I regretted. I should have kept quiet.

"It must be!" axed it

"But you promised to take me to see him." I said

"He is now Emi's fiancee. If you want to refer to Tony, believe me before you meet him, you first meet the god of death."

"I just want to hear an explanation from Tony. If she doesn't love me and will marry Emi, I will. But let me see him one last time." I persuaded. "please. After that, you want to poison me, kill me, so lunch tiger as well I willingly. I have no one else in this world. If I disappear, no one will look for me. "What if he wants to talk to you?" tanyakanya.

"Then I will.. I'll.." I don't know what to answer.

"You better kill me, so you can be together again. But while I'm still around, don't expect you guys to be together." he threatened

"Then." I swallowed spit. "Teach me to kill you." I returned his eyes.

I tried hard even though my heart was forcing it out of my skin. My tears haven't stopped either.

David smiled at his smile. "Interesting."
