Chapter 16's

"It's over" Tony said on the phone.

"I'll keep my promise."

Lia and Tony's conversation I heard everything clearly. Even though I don't understand anything about women's feelings. But Tony's words must have been very painful for him. I was a little amazed by his courage and perseverance. He should have given up on the bar. No one knew what was going on in the room at the time. And at the same time he was cut off and kicked out. I skipped my lunch and met Dad in his room. I said briefly what forced me to miss the first session. I can only try to understand because Emi's marriage problem only I can solve.

"So what is that woman now? You want to make her your girlfriend until when? Your mother's happy you brought a girlfriend home. What if they know it's just a hoax?" ask me firmly.

The meeting was over and several parties agreed to sign a cooperation contract. Most likely, the project will be implemented in the near future. If Tony and Emi's marriage is over, I intend for Tony to be in charge of monitoring the project on the ground. Tony and Emi will be separated for a while. This will be Tony's first and greatest project.

I returned to my room after announcing the results of a successful meeting to the team. They were all happy and congratulated me. My face stiffened again because Lia and Katrine were not in my room. I took my phone to call Katrine. But I saw the message Katrine sent.

'Sir, earlier apologize, because you're in a meeting so I just left a message. Ms. Lia asked me what people usually do when they're sad. I told her, eat, shop and walk. So right now we're in the car going to the Mall. Don't worry sir, Mother will always be under my watch.'

Unconsciously I laughed.

Lia, what are you actually made of? The iron? The steel?

If eating, shopping and walking can make you forget all the events that made you sad, I will do it with you every day.
