Second Change

Second Change
Chapter 6's

Sales have dropped dramatically in a week. Today, there is no sales. I sat pensively on the terrace looking at the glass bottles whose contents had not been touched even though the day was approaching closing hours. Tony also from there somewhere. I've called from before but it's always been busy. When I meant to call again, suddenly a foreign number called.

"Hello."

"Hello, this is with Lia fruit Ice huh?" ask a woman across the phone.

"Yes right." Myjaw.

"Bak, want to order the ice fruit mix fifty cups yes, mbak."

"Huh?! Seriously mbak? Fifty cups?"

Suddenly I panicked crabbing counting stock cups, ice cubes, syrup.

"Seriously mbak. Please infotan total and mbak account number to my whatsapp number which is this yes. Let me pay directly."

"Oh. Ok ok mbak. I'm sending it right now."

Immediately I closed the call and typed the total number and account number into whatsapp with trembling hands and heart pounding. I also asked where the order would be between. Not yet aware of my confusion, a corresponding amount of transfer evidence was sent. And a delivery address to the Court Office not far from here. You only need to ride the boat once. I checked the mutation in my account to make sure it wasn't a scam.

Jackpot, it's not a scam.

I tried calling Tony and the second ring he raised. He said he was almost home. That tense afternoon we finished both. Somehow I explained, the fifty-cup order was done anyway and Tony called the online car taxi to drive him to his destination. I stared at the average empty glass bottles. Tony volunteered to wash all the empty bottles. Not long after that my ringtone sounded. The judge from the court office called.

"Hello, I want to tell you. The ice has arrived. It looks really good, mbak. Tomorrow I want to order fifty more cups. It's between around the clock. I'll transfer to tomorrow."

I sat on the floor after closing the call.

"Why you?" ask Tony to panic.

"Tomorrow fifty more cups !" I was excited to hug Tony.

"Thank God." Tony stroked my hair "Lo rest, let me finish."

My joy cannot be expressed in words. Imagine that I've been taking orders in a big party for a week. First order to the court office, then to the canteen of a cosmetics company, then to the printing press. Although tired but this heart feels very happy.

Sunday, the offices are off and I'm also hanging out. For the first time since I lived alone, I woke up at nine o'clock. It feels good when you don't have to force yourself to get up to work. Tony was awake. But since he saw that I was still slumbering, he also went back to sleep while hugging me. I hid my face in his chest and enjoyed this moment. I love her so much. Despite our frugal lives, Tony never complained. He's the perfect man for me. No smoking, no drinking, no playing online games, no socializing. He was innocent, a hard worker and reliable. Thank you for being present in my life.

A year later, I finally went to college. My dream has finally been achieved and all this is thanks to Tony. He gave up this opportunity for me because Tony and his band were finally going to release an album. So, the money we collected together ended up paying for registration fees, one-year tuition, books and other necessities.

My relationship with Tony is getting closer. We make love often, but always be careful not to get pregnant. Because we're not ready to get married. Tony wanted me to finish college and decide to get married. Until then, we will be ready to pick up our baby. Just thinking about it made me smile unconsciously.

At five in the afternoon, today's lecture was over and I rushed home because Tony came home today after three busy weeks working on the album with his band. Having to frequent the recording room, Tony and his bandmates had to live together in a rented house close to the studio. Actually I don't really understand. I'm just digesting a little bit of Tony's many explanations about it. But I trust him.

It only takes half an hour from campus to home. As soon as I get home, I'll go to the kitchen. Open the fridge, get some chicken, potatoes, chicken curry seasoning, coconut milk and you know what I'm going to cook.

"Tonight I want to eat chicken curry." Tony said on the phone early in the morning before six o'clock.

"You mean, you're home today?" my answer is excitement and drowsiness due to being awakened by the ringing of a mobile phone is gone.

"Yes. I really miss Ama Lo. Want to kiss Lo as much as possible tonight. Can I?"

"I miss you too."

"What answer?"

"Bole kissed Lo as much as tonight?"

"Me too." I whispered

Tony laughed across the phone. My face is hot because it blushes.

There was the sound of the front door opening as I was stirring up the almost boiling chicken curry. Is that tony?

"Lia." call her

I kept turning off the stove and ran to greet Tony with a tight hug. He kissed my hair, my forehead, my cheeks and then I was lifted and swiveled2 until my feet floated.

"Gue miss Ama Lo. I don't feel like a second in the recording room. Always remember Lo."

"Can call or chat."

"Gue doesn't want to interrupt Lo's lecture."

Tony kissed me back on the cheek and this time he grabbed me and landed me in bed.

"I'm cooking chicken curry again" I said

"His stove's in matiin?"

"It."

"Well already. I'm going straight to the main menu."

"Main menu? But the carinya is not yet mature. You haven't had time to boil you've come home."

"That's dessert. The main menu, Lo."

Do you know what happens next?

Finally none of us remembered the chicken curry for not getting out of bed. We make out, make love, tell stories, hold each other and make out again, then make love again until we both fall asleep at what time.

As a result, the next morning the chicken curry a full pan was stale. Tony hugged me from behind and whispered,

"Lo is more delicious than chicken curry. Even Lo beats all the good food I've ever eaten."

"Gombali. Let's not be upset because of the chicken curry lupain huh?" I pinched his ear slowly

"Lo also forgot. Means I'm better than chicken curry dong."

"You can't be compared to food. You're more like a tiger."

"Why tiger?"

"Because both are savages."
