Chapter 19's

I almost thought that Lia had given up on Tony. It was unexpected that he still placed great hopes on the impossible. Tony still likes it. But there's no way she'll turn to him again. The more he chased after, all he got was an increasingly bigger wound.

The wedding day is just a few days away. Emi called me and said she was nervous and wanted to see me. I'm currently with Lia on my way home from work. I told him that today we are not going back to the apartment. He looked at me for a moment and then nodded.

Since the incident on the beach, he has become more quiet and obedient. Not fighting as usual. I can't read his mind because he's so hard to guess. Maybe he is now planning something or has already resigned to the situation. He should have understood by now that no matter what he did, he would never be able to reunite with Tony. The only thing he needed to do right now was focus on completing his studies.

"I want to borrow your computer, bole?" suddenly tanyanya.

"For what?" ask me a stale base.

"Lecture duty. Today the class is a bit crowded so no time to go to the library." he explained

It was quiet until we finally got home.

Emi and Auntie Nia welcomed us.

"Sister, I'm nervous. What am I supposed to do?" Emi jumped a little in front of me.

"Usa's not nervous. Just go for it." I don't know how to calm Emi down. He frowned because it was not helped.

"Non Emi panicked because her weight dropped and her wedding dress had to be resized" explained Bi Nia patiently "But lately Non Emi did not dare to eat for fear of fat."

Bi Nia laughed at Emi and Emi added a frown.

"Lia." Emi chased after Lia who was already on top of the stairs.

Lia looked over with a small smile.

"We're talking yuk." Emi and Lia nodded.

"Women are better at talking. It's okay" Bi Nia said as she patted my shoulder.

I followed them until Emi's room but Emi forbade me from entering.

"Lia wants to do college work." My reason

"It's okay, next week is just collected" he said

Lia can't keep me calm. Will he tell Emi his relationship with Tony? Everything would be in vain if Emi found out.

I banged on Emi's bedroom door. Anyway Lia can't be alone with Emi. I kept knocking until Lia appeared from behind the door. I pushed him against the wall.

"Don't fuck around." I threatened slowly.

"What you're afraid won't happen" he whispered.

"Sister, what's wrong with you?" Emi out of the room.

"What's this about? Who's the door-sliding guy?" I cried Mother who was climbing the stairs.

Lia wrapped her hands around my neck. "You slept first. I'll be accompanied tomorrow morning."

My body stiffened, Lia's face was so close that I could smell her shampoo. My heart's shaking. This feeling was the same as when he pushed me down into the sand and crouched down beside me. Just then my body responded and turned to push him. Lia seemed to have a magnet that made me want to kiss her back then and that feeling appeared again in this second.

"I borrowed Lia for a while and my big brother-jedor door." Emi complained to Mom.

"Dave, already" said Mother briefly.

"Le.. Let go of me." I said nervously

Lia shook her head "Promise used to not be angry" she said in a spoiled voice.

"Yes, I promise." My tongue is muffled.

Lia let me go, said hello to Mom and then went into Emi's room.

"Lia's a kid, you're missing Dave." Mom scolded me "Don't get her pregnant before graduation."

I looked at my mother and wanted to explain. But never mind, what else can I explain. Our status is indeed dating in this house added to the situation earlier.

"I'll be careful" I replied

"So you're really uda... " Task Mom awkwardly

I should have explained earlier. Before I could think, my mother hit me.

"You can't stand yourself. Lia's still in college semester one. Try to calculate how far you are. You should be more mature and think dong. Are you serious about Lia?"

"Mom.." I retreated to avoid his blow.

"I think so." I replied.

"Marry her if that's it. Don't get pregnant first, trus make a disgrace in our family." Mother's answer was beyond my expectations.

I guess mom's going to ban it because of Lia's status.

"Mom bless us?" ask me to come up to Mother "Lia's an orphan."

"Mother was also orphaned when she married your father" she said.

"But Mother is different. I have a lot of legacy, even the mine has a mother."

"What if Lia doesn't have anything? What matters is that you like." She held both of my cheeks while smiling.

The next morning I woke up and saw Lia sleeping on the sofa wrapped in a thick blanket. I don't know what time he went back to the room. Until I finished the bath and dressed, Lia wasn't awake. If it doesn't go right now, maybe he'll be late because after passing the toll, the road will definitely be quite jammed. I decided to build it.

I took her phone on the floor and put it next to her pillow. I called my phone and the ringtone rang strongly. He moved a little and picked up his phone lazily. His eyes are still locked.

"You'll be late if you don't wake up now" I said, but didn't respond. He went back to sleep and curled up in his blanket.

"Lia. Lia. Sis." Emi knocked on the room door.

I opened the door looking at the worried look of Emi.

"Sister, is Lia better? Last night he suddenly had a fever. He returned to the room after taking the medicine. But he's pale, I'm worried." Emi explained while going into the room.

Emi approaches Lia "Lia why are you sleeping on the sofa?"

Lia squirmed for a while and tried to sit down "I'm afraid to pass on David. I think I'm still sick, Emi."

Emi looked at me angrily "Big brother is evil anyway?"

"It's not David's fault. Last night I didn't wake her up." she said weakly.

"Poor lia." Emi rubbed Lia's red cheeks. "You're so hot."

"We go to the hospital." I said.

"No usa." she said

I carried the weak Lia and followed Emi who opened the door. Mom and Dad were having breakfast and were confused at this situation. I asked Emi to explain to them and went straight to the yard where my car was parked.

"Wear this." I took off Jas and covered his body.

I lowered her chair so she could lie down more comfortably. Our eyes met and moved away as his chair moved down. His face was pale and his breathing was fast.

The car I was driving drove out of the yard. I turned on the GPS in the car and searched for the nearest hospital. I took the closest location which was about fifteen minutes. GPS robot starts to show the fastest way.

Along the way, Lia coughed several times while closing her eyes and her body shivered.

"It's almost there. Hold it for a minute."

"I'm fine. Just an ordinary demen." he said weakly

"Fever can also lead to death" I replied

"Dead is fine too." her voice swallowed.

"I don't want you to die."

Lia coughed again, a bit hard until her body was shaken.

Finally we arrived in front of the ER, the nurse held Lia up lying on the patient's bed. I parked my car and ran to the ER.

When I arrived at the ER, the doctor was checking and asking Lia some questions.

"It's okay. Just strep throat. I'll take antibiotics and fever medicine later" said the doctor

"Lodging alone." I suggested

"no need. Wait for the infusion to run out, you can go home. If the fever has not come down for three days then check the blood." explained the doctor then went to check on other patients.

"We're going to another hospital."

"Wouldn't. Can you calm down?" Lia coughed again.

"Aunt can take care of Non Lia loh. Just calm down." Bi Nia patted my back.

"Emi can also." said Emi who just entered the room carrying ginger water.

I finally gave up and left for work feeling uneasy. My feelings are mixed. Either worried because he was sick or out of fear he would say something he shouldn't while I was away.

I can't concentrate on handling the documents on the desk. My head kept on overshadowing Lia's pale face. Bodo time, I have to go home now. I left Katrine some work and left the office.

Half an hour later I arrived home. Emi, Mom and Lia are watching a drama on television.

"Are you coming home soon?" mother asked worriedly when she saw me appearing with a tense face.

I looked towards Lia. His face was not pale and seemed to have fallen out this morning.

"So big brother Ama Lia." - ridiculed Emi.

Emi looks cheerful as usual, Mother also does not look like she has heard the shocking news.

"Non Lia just has no appetite. But the fever has gone down." Bi Nia reported smiling meaningfully.

I breathed a sigh of relief, everything is fine.

"If I'm sick, Tony can be like a brother, right?" ask Emi suddenly.

"If Tony had been like your brother, too, I would be tired of working alone." mocked Mom "Did you not call? He said you suddenly came home because there was a problem at home. Katrine is not calm because of the problems at home so contact your secretary."

"I'll call Dad explained." I said and went up to the room.

I feel relieved but there's a little bit of a wedge. Is it true that Lia gave up Tony or is actually planning something. If you wanted to get Tony back to him wouldn't telling the truth be faster? What exactly was I thinking Lia.
