Second Change

Second Change
Chapter 15's

David finally promised to take me to Tony. I was sitting on the floor next to the bedside bedside where I was charging my phone. I sent a chat to Cindy that tomorrow I'm not allowed to leave.

David came out of the bathroom and sat down at his desk.

"Would your house be sold?" suddenly tanyanya.

"That's my parents' house. I can't sell it." I said.

"So you plan to stay here forever?" taunted

"I can go home to my house." I said "if you will."

"Your house can't stay" he said, "Say your mobile number. I'll send you a picture."

I mentioned my phone number and before long thirty-two photos were sent to my WhatsApp.

I was shocked to see the condition of my house in the photo. Everything is broken and messy. All the furniture, my room, my kitchen, all the mess. Valuables such as televisions, stoves, couches, beds were all gone. The walls are also scrawled with writing that is not pleasant to look at.

"Could it be like this?" I asked for miris

"Thanks Tony" he said

"What does this have to do with Tony?"

"People are gossiping that Tony lost his gamble and you're selling yourself to pay his debts" he said.

"That's not true!" myrag.

"Of course it's not true. But the truth is Tony ran away and you worked in a bar. Home at dawn among men and there are red spots on....." David pointed at his neck "here."

"How do you know?" Ask me for wonder

"I sent my men there. And that's what he heard." he said, "Saranku, just sell the house. I'll find another place to live."

"Why do you want to help me?" tanyaku.

"By Emi. You think I like dealing with you? I just assume you're the one who can get in the way of Emi's marriage. I'm getting rid of the pestle now" he said furiously.

My heart hurts to hear it. Is that in the eyes of others? Selling themselves? A whore? Not shameless? The benalu? All I did was love Tony. I love him with a sincere heart. Even when he hurt me, I still can't forget him. I always believed him. Is it so hard to love someone?

"I have a little business. Please tell my dad I'm going to the second session." Said David to his Secretary who came to pick him up in the morning.

"Good Sir. The second meeting will start at two in the afternoon. Can you come with me?" tanyanya politely.

David twisted my shoulders and bent slightly so that our faces met. "Look, I have an important meeting at two o'clock. Finish your business before that or you'll stay."

"I can go home by myself." I pushed his chest and took two steps back.

Aunt Nia and Sister Secretary looked at us with a smile. They misunderstood. David was threatening me, but in their eyes it was like romance in the morning.

"OKAY. This where? Name the house number, the complex name and the area" he said

"I don't know." I answered honestly.

"Don't fight that" he said, then pulled my hand as usual but it didn't hurt.

"Where are we?" ask me when the car gets on the highway.

David was quiet again.

"I noticed that you don't really like to talk when you're driving." I sneered

"I just don't want to answer questions that don't need to be answered" he said

"Because I'm a bitch?" my word. "Calm down, this bitch is gonna be gone any minute. Depends on when you get a new home for me. I also don't want to live with grumpy men."

"I've got your place" he said.

This fast? Just one night?

"Where?" ask me curious

Again he did not answer.

There's no point in being curious if David won't answer. I buried my curiosity and tried to sleep. Redeemed my sleeping hours last night.

I flinched hearing my ringtone. I woke up and quickly pulled the phone out of my bag.

Angry D's

I turned to David who was looking at me while holding his Handphone.

"We've arrived." he said.

Right now we're under a skyscraper. I looked up to see the end of the building, but instead hit David behind me. He pushed me through the security forces whose faces were not friendly.

The building inside is like a spacious lobby mall, luxurious, clean, classy and lots of people passing by. David clasped my hand to the check-in. So we have to scan a kind of identification card in the machine we can pass through this triple branch. David and I didn't have that identification card, instead the guarding officer gave us access so we could get in. Somehow he did it, anyway now we have managed to get in and walk towards the elevator.

I'm on the same roof as Tony. I'll meet him soon. I'm putting together a sentence after sentence that I'm going to tell Tony. We managed to get into the elevator. Floor by floor we passed until David finally pulled me out when the elevator opened on the fifteenth floor. We walked in the opposite direction of the people who came out on this floor as well. We finally got to the emergency door and David took me inside.

"Why are we on the emergency stairs?" much

"To avoid gossip" he said and called someone. "Lia's here."

Deg.

My heart suddenly raced. Is that tony? Is Tony headed this way?

"I'm waiting downstairs" he said, then down the stairs. Leaving me who was about to die from nervousness.

A few minutes later, the emergency door opened. A man dressed in a suit and looking handsome appeared from behind the door. That's her! Tony's! He's so handsome. I have to say something.

"What do you want to say?" tanyakanya.

I approached her and was about to hug her. But Tony backed off and held my shoulder.

"Just stand up and say what you want to say." her voice sounded cynical.

"Are you the Tony I know?" my many.

My heart feels like it's been pierced by thousands of needles. Again, I could not hold back my tears.

"Not" he said

"So where's the Tony I know?" isakku.

"If there's nothing to say, I want to go back to work" he said.

"Tony. You and I know what we're going through in my house. I can feel that for a year you have been sincere and love me."

"Before you meet me, you've found out about me?" tannya

I shook my head "I don't want to hear from anyone else. I've been living with you all this time, I know you better how."

"If you don't find out, let me tell you." she said, "Gue's drunk, womanizing, foya-foya, living in prosperity, and oppressing weak people like you." he was proud.

"It's not. You are simple, hardworking, kind, smart singing, attentive, understanding then ...."

"That's because I'm deceiving you again." it's too late

"You also say I'm a weak man, I have nothing. What good are you tricking me?" shanky

"Gue likes to play Lo. I'm glad to see you're fooled."

"You like living with me? No luxuries, no common food and you go to the market, do the dishes, fix the taps." I still can't believe this is a hoax.

"Lo know what? Every time I have my passions, I have to spend twenty million to pay the girls. As for ama lo. "he was silent for a moment taking a "free" breath."

I'm speechless. Unable to resist, too sick to think. If it hurts, I have trouble breathing. I couldn't lift my head to look at him.

"Lo imagine how much money I have to spend to enjoy a virgin. For a year I made love to you without fear of illness. I work at your house, assume I feel guilty. That'sallthatis. Now I want to get married. Don't need you anymore."

Those were Tony's last words before he left me. Her honest statements are painful. I can't deny any more that the goal is just to make love for free. Then isn't what others say about me true? I'm hookers. Cheapo. Shameless. The dream of building a small family with Tony was also just my illusion. Things that could never happen.

I walked up the stairs. I don't know where the stairs will end. I just want to go up. I'll climb until my feet are tired. Tiredness can cover up the pain I feel right now.

My body staggered back because someone pulled my hand. I fell in his arms. On someone's field chest and his big hands stroked my hair and patted my back.

"Crying. Cry as hard as you can" he said

Without further admonition, I cried roaring in his chest. I screamed at this injustice. I screamed at my fate. I screamed over all the bad things that happened to me.

"You should have stopped when I pulled you out of the bar" he said "This is the result of stubbornness."

"Why can't he and I be together? Why doesn't he just love me? Why should she marry your sister? Does he love your sister?" my roar

"Your differences are too far away! Even if she loves you, she can't be with you either." she cried to match my voice.

"We are both human. Have the right to be together." I'll

"He's a conglomerate boy while you're an orphan who has nothing." David shakes my shoulder.

David managed to tell a reality about our differences. We are like heaven and earth. He's the king and I'm just a lowly college worker.

"If nothing is perfect in this world, why are my flaws a problem?" lirih.

I'm tired. My body's limp. I want to sit and lean on this floor forever.
